Encounter the romantic city of Istanbul
The red vintage tram, the seagulls over the Galata Tower, the sunset at the Suleymaniye Mosque. These are the romance of Istanbul.
Istanbul, Turkey, has a history as bright as the stars and intoxicating natural scenery. In this place that exudes both classical and modern charm, everything can be romantic to the extreme.
To encounter romance, you must come to the Galata Bridge in Istanbul. The bridge spans the two continents of Asia and Europe. There are many famous ancient sites on both sides of the bridge. The bridge connects the old city and the new city, and the fishing rods on the bridge form a new landscape, especially at sunset, the scene is spectacular. Looking from one side, various fishing rods are arranged at a 45-degree angle, as if they are lining up to welcome guests from afar.
On the Galata Bridge, you can enjoy the scenery on both sides. When the weather is clear, the Bosphorus Strait is cloudless, the sea is blue, and the cruise ship passes under the Galata Bridge. The seagulls follow the cruise ship, high and low, becoming the most agile embellishment of the beautiful bay.
Walking on the Galata Bridge at sunset, looking at the Galata Tower, the seagulls flying around the Galata Tower in the twilight, and the mosque on the top of the mountain against the soft and dreamy sky.
The Galata Tower is a landmark of the new city of Istanbul. Today, it still dominates the skyline north of the Golden Horn. Climbing to the top of the tower, you can have a 360-degree view of Istanbul.

Istanbul; the epicenter of beauty
Getting There - there are two main airports serving the city, both some distance from the city center, however an hour's taxi ride, or jump in the local bus and you'll be instantly transported to an ancient world
Attractions - Mosques overtake the skyline in this beautiful city, with one to see on every corner. The Blue Mosque has been closed for several years but Sofia is a spectacle to behold. I recommend a small walking tour. A visit to Galata tower is a must, and a boat road.
Food & Restaurants - eat EVERYTHING! The Turkish delights and baklava are like nothing I've ever tasted. Every dish rich in flavour, there is so much more to Turkish cuisine than kebab. And don't leave the city without drinking the coffee.

Think of gorgeous views of the Black sea, stunning architecture and delicious food..
Although I didn't get a feel for the Turkish hospitality this time round, I still enjoyed the beauty of this magnificent city. After all, everything is fine when you start the day with a cup of strong Turkish coffee, sweetened by a piece of Turkish delight; then explore beautiful sights like the Golden Horn bridge and the Galata tower or the Blue mosque: then enjoy a freshly made fish sandwich by the sea for lunch...

Actually, we went there to take some photos like what we see on Instagram. But there were a lady wanted us to pay 200 liras for 30-40 photos. That was unexpected and her attitude was very bad. So we ended up just taking photos inside Nova café instead.

Galata Kulesi (Galata Tower) is one of the symbols of Istanbul. You can even see it from the Bosphorus and from the western side of the city. It is located in Beyğolu, it is easy to reach with bus or metro that connect the district of Beyoglu with other areas. It is possible to enter and go up to the top with an entrance ticket.
But honestly, it is really stunning from outside! Both during day and night, people go there to take iconic photos. While there you can't miss these beautiful sights of the streets that lead to the tower. It is also very close to the famous Istiklal avenue, full of shops and cafes and where you can see the red tram passing by.

Galata Tower— Tower of History
📍Galata Tower
This tower has been the icon of not only Istanbul but of the whole Turkey. The tower experienced a lot of highlights in history of Turkey and even though it has been through ages and gone through experiences, its beauty has been well reserved.
The top deck will serve you an amazing 360 view of the whole Istanbul and of the Bosphorus strait. We spent an hour just taking all the view up there!
Inside floors of the tower has been customized: museum, observatory deck, 3D flying experience and a souvenir shop.
All worth the 30liras!
Trivia: The first flying man in the world took off
from the Galata tower and flew all the way to the other side of Istanbul’s continent (Asian side, Uskudar)

The Galata Tower stands in the heart of the new city of Istanbul. It was built in 507 by the Byzantine Emperor Anastasia. This vicissitude of the ancient tower has also been a number of other things: guard tower, prison and observatory.
In the peak season, it is said that there will be long queues. I came over in the winter, so I went up very quickly. I took the elevator directly to the top of the tower. From the Galata Tower you can see Istanbul. I was there until the sun set and the night sky became dark. Several mosques along the river lit up and the city lit up along with them. The wind at the top of the tower was very strong.
If you are visiting in winter, it will be very cold at the top of the tower. Fortunately, there are two restaurants at the top of the tower. There are many coffee bars and restaurants here, usually from 9:00 to 24:00. In the Galata Tower you can also enjoy oriental belly dancing, midnight performances and more.
This wonderful place and amazing history 😎
Light house in ancient times, but now is a museum. A great look from Asia to Europe and from Europe to Asia. Unfortunately at my visit, it was closed for visitors due to restoration work. But it's a must visit when you are in Istanbul. Market around the tower looks amazing, from shopping to restaurants.

Istanbul citywalk photo rate, check-in point sharing with you
Istanbul's European district is divided into old and new city areas,
Today's one-day Citywalk is Istanbul's new European district:
Transportation🚌: You can take a taxi, or choose to take the local light rail and bus, to experience local life.
1.Galata Tower
A nine-story stone tower from the Middle Ages, it was once a lighthouse, lookout tower, prison, observatory, etc. It is recommended to climb the tower to watch the sunset and night view in the evening, you can overlook the boundary between Asia and Europe, I was here when it was under construction and didn't go up, a bit regretful.
2.New Palace (Dolmabahce Palace)
Must go! You will regret it if you don't go! It is said that only the style of the Versailles Palace can be compared with it, revealing wealth everywhere, bring your passport for free rental of the interpreter, 1050 lira/person.
3.Independence Street
Istanbul's "Champs Elysees", with a red tram,
Super photo rate, various shots.
4.Taksim Square
There are many pigeons in the square,
Don't accept the pigeon food handed over by the locals!
There were no pigeons when I went on a rainy day.
Istanbul New Town, Independence Street and Galata Tower
Istanbul, a city with a Mediterranean climate where rain and heat do not coincide, makes us shiver in the cold rain when we travel in winter; a city of cat lovers, where you can take pictures of 100 different cats, their fur shiny, and people specifically feed them; a very enthusiastic city, the postcard-selling brother enthusiastically tells us the story behind the sights on the postcards, and the passerby who sees me taking pictures of the cat happily poses for me... a very romantic city, the red retro tram is nearby, the beautiful car highlights the romance of the entire city; a city with inexplicable prices, a large cup of Starbucks latte only costs 17 RMB, a ticket for the under-repair Galata Tower costs more than 150... In short, coming to this small city spanning the Eurasian continent, there will be many different experiences, good and not so good, all will become fragments of memory, turning into precious memories.

This is a fun tourist site that offers you a great view of the whole of Istanbul.
My wife and I were walking around in Istanbul and we reached the Galata Tower. Although I definitely knew that. And it can be seen from very far away. But I was reluctant to climb it up, thinking it would be full of tourists. To some extent that was the case. But, this has not been taken away of the stunning views of Istanbul that can only be seen from this location.
The way Galata Tower works is to go and buy your tickets from the sales trailer. Then you walk forward and an employee guides you to the elevator. Go to the top Once there, the view is stunning. You can walk outside and/or inside the tower just with the beauty of Istanbul.
Once you’re done, these fun stairs descend. Although for people with a certain height, like me, you have to be careful or you may hit your head.
We went there at night and very happy that we did! The view is amazing, I believe in day too, but I think it's more beautiful at night. The ticket costs about 10€ and I think it’s worth the price. You can really see the “whole” city from there
Overall, a pleasant experience.
