A must visit when you are in Fukuoka. A marvellous piece of architecture, in triangular cross-section, affording excellent views all around from 123m height !!
The view on the deck is amazing.I went in the morning and the view is so beautiful. On the deck u have love lock and Fukuoka coin where you can print your name and date you have visited on it.
The tickets were pretty cheap (800 yen) so there is no reason not to visit .

The views from the observation deck at 123 meters high (403 feet) are spectacular! And there are instagrammable spots at the 116 meter floor including a heart-shaped arch (they even provide you with a perch for your phone about 15 feet away for the perfect selfie). Definitely 5 stars for the views. However, there are only two elevators available, and I wish they were both larger and faster because the queue to get up took at least 20 minutes.

Fukuoka Tower
#fukuokatrip It wasn’t too crowded despite being a Saturday. Elevator to ascend was rather fast but comfortable. The view from atop is spectacular, especially the view of the sea. It’s a great experience even for children.
Easy access via direct bus from Hakata station
-Visited on a Saturday and it was not that crowded.
-No toilets in the observatory so please use the one at the ground floor before entering.
-Lift available to bring you to the top floor. However access to the restaurant is only by stairs.
-Nice view in the observatory and some nice interactive activities
-You can get a free mini photo

There are so many ways to enjoy a trip to Fukuoka Tower in Japan
Fukuoka Tower, standing at 234 meters, is known as the tallest seaside tower in Japan. As a symbol of the western sub-city center of Fukuoka, it has a straight equilateral triangle appearance covered with 8000 mirror windows, also known as the "Glass Sea Ship". The panoramic view of Fukuoka from the 5th floor observatory at 123 meters high is exquisite, and it is also equipped with the latest screen telescope. In addition, every Tanabata and Christmas, the neon lights on the mirror windows of Fukuoka Tower are colorful, adding to the charm of the fascinating night view, which is impressive. The first floor is equipped with specialty areas for Hakata famous fruit cakes and cod roe, as well as bakeries, cafes, and European restaurants.
In the evening, there are lights on the ceiling and floor in one corner, but it's best not to wear white clothes, which will turn into a weird color.
Playable facilities:
⭕A mysterious "spinning", capsule SKY Gacha, a great whirlwind that even adults can look up to. The capsule is a gift from heaven. When you open it, you will see a unique character from Fukuoka. How about aiming to complete all 7 types of small statues? (500 yen each time)
⭕Shoot the marble into the sky of Fukuoka When the marble revolves around the ancient ruins of Fukuoka, you will hear the famous slogan "Hakata Gion Yamakasa". The original "Mikami" is written in Hakata dialect, and putting the Mikami into the wish box can double your luck! (100 yen each time)
⭕Heart-shaped arch photo, with the scenery of Fukuoka in the background. When two people hold hands and touch the switch, they will be surrounded by a glowing heart. There is also a photo spot prepared for lovers, which is a sacred place.
⭕There is also a small heart-shaped arch, which can take meaningful photos for your JBD or hand-made.

【That year, Costa Cruise 🚢 to Japan (4)】
Fukuoka is not big. The tourist bus connecting the cruise ship quickly took us to the highest point in the city, and also the tallest seaside tower in Japan, Fukuoka Tower.
Fukuoka Tower was built in 1989, the tower is 234 meters high, it was built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Fukuoka City and the grand event of the Asia-Pacific Expo. The tower body is composed of more than 8,000 semi-reflective glass 'mirror sails', reflecting the mountain and sea cityscape of Fukuoka day and night - I have seen Fukuoka tourism promotional videos before: during the day it is sky blue and sea blue, at night you can see the city's thousands of lights projected on the tower, like a street in the sky, and like a dragon flashing... It is said that on holidays such as the Cherry Blossom Festival, Tanabata, Christmas and New Year, there will be creative light shows on the 8,000 glass 'mirror sails', neon lights are colorful and beautiful... Unfortunately, we didn't have the chance to see it this time, we can only look forward to the next time!

Although I did not enter and climb the building, Fukuoka Tower in Fukuoka, Japan made me stop and enjoy it for some time. The architecture of the building is interesting and this is one of the landmark in Fukuoka. It is pretty tall as you can see. It is an interesting visit for me. #wintergetaway
