Camellia Hill Botanical Garden
Camellia hill is located at Sanchang Village. It is one of the island that feature hundreds of different wildflowers, trees and other plants.
There is an entrance fee of 10,000won for adults where you have to purchase at the ticket booth before entering.
We visited the place during winter, there isn’t any blooming of flowers but it was still a pretty sight with many photo stops that you can capture where most of the space is covered in snow.
In addition to the outdoor garden, there were also a few glass house that featured many flowers and plant species.
There is also souvenir shops and cafes around the park where you can take a rest and enjoy the scenery.
It’s definitely a place that is suitable for all ages and you probably should cater at least 2 hours at the park.
It is open from 8:30am to 6pm everyday.#camellia Hill Botanica Garden

Blooming experience in the winter
#2023travelwish Finally had the chance to go Korea and experience winter! It started snowing when we reached Camellia Hill. The sight of flowers dusted in snow was really pretty! It was like spring, autumn and winter all in one place. When the snow got abit too heavy, we went into a glasshouse area which is also filled with vibrant blooms.
Hoping to go to Japan next year to have another winter experience as it’s another of my dream place.

The Joy of Jeju Island
🚉Transportation Strategy:
Jeju Island is now visa-free, just buy a plane ticket. We departed from Shanghai, the round trip was just over a thousand, really cheap.
✅Must-visit Udo Island
If you have time, you really should go. It takes an hour from the city. It's really beautiful on a sunny day, very photogenic. The peanut ice cream on the island is delicious, and there's another scenic spot nearby, Seopjikoji, which is also absolutely stunning. You can spend a whole day at these two places, and go back to the city for dinner in the evening.
✅Must-visit Camellia Hill
We went there in early June, it was all hydrangeas. The park has different flowers for each season of the year. I must say, Korea really knows how to create an atmosphere. Every place has spots for taking photos. The park is quite large, take some photos, and you can spend 2-3 hours. The entrance fee is 5000 Korean won per person

Camellia Hill
Hydrangea season in Jeju usually falls from late June to early August. Therefore, if you come to the summer island, you should not miss the flower viewing experience at Camellia Hill.
This is a virtual living paradise for those who love flowers and love photography. This place is covered with many brilliant red camellia bushes with romantic words all over the path.
Camellia Hill is more than 20 hectares wide, opened in 1979, and is the largest camellia nursery in Asia. Here, about 500 camellia varieties from 80 countries are planted and cared for. The hill also has 250 types of Jeju native plants and many different flowers that combine to create unique scenery all year round. In July, the scenery of the hills covered with the colors of the hydrangea season is poetic and romantic.
With about 14 beautiful walking paths and many check-in areas, this place is an ideal destination for couples, groups of friends and families to have fun. Even though it is a weekday, the park still attracts many tourists to visit and take photos with the hydrangea season.

Seriously stunning display of flowers at Camellia Hill; the biggest arboretum in Asia famous for its forest path and beautiful gardens of camellias. The arboretum is home to 6,000 camellia trees of 500 different species including species that are known to produce the world’s largest and earliest blossoms. The place is drop-dead gorgeous and I would of spent a whole day adoring the different flowers if I wasn't rushing to maximise my day in Jeju. #wintergetaway
