Jeju Province Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Udo Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
I took the photo of my life on Jeju Island
The jelly sea of Udo Island is too piu bright
Make sure to check the weather in advance before you go!
It's very likely that you won't be able to get on the island on rainy and windy days
Our East Line day tour was not bad💰158
🚗Shiji Kezhi👉Udo Island👉Sunrise Peak👉Sun Moon Beach
✔️Shiji Kezhi
Free🆓, there is a black reef sand beach that is very photogenic, very similar to the black sand beach in Iceland!
✔️Udo Island:
1⃣️Take the boat directly: you need a boat ticket💰10000➕Korean won/person, you can take the bus🚌/rent a bicycle🚲/rent a small electric car (more freedom) on the island
2⃣️The tour guide drives the boat: a total of 💰30000 Korean won/person (we chose to drive)
✔️Sunrise Peak
The route on the left is free, you need a ticket💰5000 Korean won/person to go up the mountain, if you want to climb the mountain, you can go up and take a look, I personally think it is unnecessary
✔️Sun Moon Beach
It is also a beautiful beach, compared to Udo Island, it is more gentle and calm, there are large windmills around, very photogenic! The large floor-to-ceiling window cafe is opened here~
The East Line is really good for taking pictures! I took hundreds of photos in one day
Jeju Island day tour, the beauty of Moontinri in winter is like a painting
I don't regret coming to Korea in winter
What I regret is spending most of the time in Seoul
If you are traveling to Korea in winter
Be sure to leave some time for Jeju Island
-
The winter in Jeju Island is super warm
The temperature is in the teens during the day
Much warmer and humid than Seoul
There are also beautiful natural scenery and countless seaside cafes
-
✔️ One-day tour route

· Udo Island|Check-in point: Jelly sea, bicycles and island buses can be rented on the island, you need to take a boat to get there, it is quite far
-
🌙 Moontinri is the most beautiful place I think, so I spent most of my time here; Udo Island is quite far and troublesome, I feel the scenery is similar to other islands, I personally feel it can go or not
📝I signed up for a day tour group, 100+ RMB. Taxis in Korea are quite expensive, if you want to visit all the attractions in one day, joining a group is the easiest and most cost-effective. I left at 7:30 in the morning and returned to the city around 6 pm
Jeju Island five days and four nights per capita 1800 including flight and hotel strategy🫣
Flight✈️: Departing from Shanghai, Spring Airlines, round trip including tax 600 yuan, bought one month in advance, because it was bought early, it is very cheap.
Hotel🏨: 3 nights Orange Hotel Jeju Central Landmark Store + 1 night Jeju Island Sea Blue Lijing Hotel, an average of about 200 yuan per night, cost-effective.
Eating🍽️: Two people exchanged a total of 300,000 Korean won, some cash was used and there was still some left, Alipay was also used more, did not particularly control the budget, about 800 yuan per capita
Reference:
Ilchulbong Dosikhu Jing (near Seogwipo), Hahaha Udo (Cow Island), ate casually near Seongsan Tulip Hotel, Dongmen Market ice cream, 711 Melody Cheese Rice Cake, mega coffee, potato spine soup, fat intestine expert.
Itinerary🚌: t-money charged 1.5w Korean won per person, enough for five days, basically all by bus, single trip 1150/3000 Korean won, free transfer🆓.

Three days and two nights in Jeju Island
Jeju Island in the off-season is a paradise for self-healing
This time I stayed in Yayue Village
A place where you can see the sea and the lighthouse when you open the window
The day I arrived, my hat flew off as soon as I got out of the taxi without any precautions
Put down my luggage and take a walk nearby
The wind is so strong that I walk two meters and retreat three meters
Decided to eat barbecue in the nearest restaurant
After eating, I went back to the hotel and took a rest
Took the bus to Ilchul Peak to watch the sunset
Hahaha, yes, watching the sunset at Ilchul Peak
The wind was a bit smaller at this time
The weather is not so cold, very comfortable
Came when it was about to close, few people, equivalent to a private booking
In the evening, I went to a popular restaurant that is the same as the one in the love series
The dishes are indeed very fresh and the prices are quite affordable
The lobster ramen can be said to be the ramen of my life
So fresh that it's amazing!
The next day I slept until I woke up naturally, it was a cloudy day
There is sun, but not much
Find a coffee shop nearby and have a beautiful breakfast
Why say it's beautiful, it's literal
Beautiful scenery, beautiful food
Then I took the bus to the pier
Boarded the ship to Udo
Wow, the scenery is really good
Without an international driver's license, I could only rent an electric bicycle
It's not bad, it's not tiring at all
But we sat down at the first beach
Never got up again until the return trip
The dong of the jelly sea is the dong of heart
The seawater is really like jelly, duangduang
Sitting on the beach eating a fish cake
The soup base is actually made of kelp, another little surprise
In the evening, I went to the same barbecue omakase as the love series
The meat quality is definitely not as good as the one I ate the day before
The main thing is to experience the different tastes of different parts of the pig's body
The service is excellent, just open your mouth all the way
On the third day, I still slept until I woke up naturally
Went directly to Xiaocai Beach to eat at the same restaurant as Gong Liu and Lee Dong Wook
The seafood pancake is fragrant and crispy, very, very delicious
Other dishes did not leave a stunning feeling
Although it rained heavily this day
But the transparency of Xiaocai Beach is not inferior to Udo
I also met a magpie during the walk
This place is so comfortable, I want to stay for a few days next time

This is the view of Seongsan, also known as the Sunrise Peak. It is a UNESCO, World Natural Heritage Site. It is more accessible by car as buses are infrequent and the timings are unreliable. Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone rose 180 meters above sea level due to a magma flow under the sea over 5,000 years ago. The crater is about 600 meters in diameter and 90 meters deep. It takes around 50 minutes for a round trip up and down the mountain. However, it requires a fee to hike. The view from the free zone is also amazing! Worth it.

Hamdeok Beach
Hamdeok beach is a northern Jeju Island beach and is truly beautiful. Built up with volcanic rock, the islands layout is unique. Walk out to the bridge which allows you to access the singular picnic bench overlooking the water.
The water and its various shades of blue is spectacular, the rocks stick out creating new shapes in the beach area.
Activities can be taken on here - such as kayaking, jet ski or paddle board as well as scuba diving.

Cocotero - Jeju Island
Located opposite Hamdeok Beach, there’s so many choices of Korean BBQ and other food. Mixed in you can find Cocotero, they have a small menu but the pizzas are huge! Definitely a meal you will have to share.
Prices here are a little higher than some of the chicken places - 29000won for the large pizza but you won’t need to buy more than one between two.
Drinks are standard - beers served cold and small other selection.
Ordering is completely tableside - the iPad screen attached to your table is the order.
Atmosphere - funky, could almost become a party.

Osulloc Tea Musuem: Heaven for matcha lovers!
📍Osulloc Tea Museum, Jeju
LOVE THE MATCHA SLUSHIE! (must try) they do sell a set that comes with a matcha roll, matcha soft serve and matcha slushie (also topped with soft serve). The drink was smooth, matcha taste was strong and not diluted, best off the menu! As for the roll cake, preferred the hallabong flavoured one! (give this a try too! the hint of tangerine brings out the flavour of the cake)
After having your desserts, head over to the store to stock up on some matcha snacks, green tea AND DONT MISS THE GREEN TEA MILK SPREAD. Goes well with crackers or plain bread!

Fancy a one-day hiking challenge? Try hiking Hallasan on Jeju Island. The round trip will take around 10 hours if you are a non-hiker, so start early and wear a pair of good shoes that protect your ankle. The path is mostly rocky and steps can be very steep. The views at the summit are breathtaking, but be prepared to queue for a proof-shot for the certificate of completion. Remember to book your slot if you plan to reach the summit!#hallasan #bucketlistreboot

The Hallasan National Park is UNESCO recognized, and Hallasan Mountain is the highest point in South Korea, and its volcanic activity millions of years ago is what created Jeju Island. It now stands tall and dormant at the heart of Jeju.
A must-do when visiting Jeju, and it will likely take the whole day to climb and enjoy the sights. It is recommended to bring sufficient water and food for pit stops along the way. Rest and relax at the resting point, but do take note of the time as there is cut-off time to be aware of. So check it out before you start ascending.
