Trip Moments Recommendations
#Boracay Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
My goodness, this must be the ceiling of the island paradise
The delicate white sand beaches, the azure sea, and the stunning sunset sails... Every casual photo is breathtakingly beautiful, and the hours spent flying here are well worth it.
✈️ About the trip
Since there are no direct flights from Chengdu to Boracay, and I didn't want to go through too much hassle with a child, I chose a group visa semi-independent travel.
🏝 Outbound: Chengdu Tianfu Airport - Caticlan, then a 20-minute boat ride to Boracay to check into the hotel.
🏝 Return: Kalibo - Chengdu Tianfu Airport, it takes a 2-hour bus ride from Boracay to Kalibo Airport.
⏰ Flight duration: About 4 hours
🏖️ Travel recommendations
❤️ White Beach: A must-visit spot in Boracay, known as the most beautiful beach in Asia, with a beautiful environment and fine sand. Divided into S1, S2, and S3 zones, S1 has relatively more people, lying on a thin layer of gauze is comfortable and stress-relieving, and it's also great for taking photos.
❤️ Sunset Sailing: A traditional water activity not to be missed, sailing through the waves at dusk to greet the sunset is a breathtakingly beautiful scene.
❤️ Virgin Island: You need to wait for low tide to walk on the rocks, which will give you a different photo experience.
❤️ Puka Beach: The wedding location of Fish Leong, with jelly-like sea, the sand is not as fine as White Beach, and the waves are bigger, with fewer tourists. The cost here is also cheaper, but be sure to pay attention to safety when with children.
❤️ Friday Beach: An excellent spot to watch the sunset sails, you can walk further north, right in front of the sunset.
❤️ Cliffside Walkway: Located to the right of Friday Beach, viewing the sea from the caves, the beauty of the sea is fully captured, and wearing a beautiful dress feels like a fairyland. There are usually more people in line here, so it's recommended to come before 9 am.
🍜 About dining
Boracay is indeed a food desert, and we mostly dined at the hotel's restaurant during our stay. You can bring some pickled mustard tuber and chili powder, there are many shops in Dmall, but the prices are a bit high, I recommend a restaurant opposite Virgin Island, which is very affordable. Never buy things in the Dmall supermarket, a bowl of instant noodles that costs 6 yuan in China is 170 pesos!!
🌈 Boracay travel tips:
1⃣️ Currently, there are no direct flights from China to Boracay, it is recommended to choose a group semi-independent travel.
2⃣️ Hotel sockets are universal, no need to bring converters and adapters, hotels do not provide hair dryers, TV channels marked PAY are for pay, and a separate payment is required upon checkout. Besides bath towels, shower gel, and soap, you need to bring your own toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, slippers, comb, etc.
3⃣️ The Philippines is a tipping country, tips are expected for services like luggage handling, photography, and room cleaning, about 50 pesos or so, but coins should not be given.
4⃣️ Sunglasses, sun hats, swimsuits, beach dresses, they all look super good in photos, and sunscreen is a must to carry with you.
5⃣️ The temperature on the plane is low, so prepare a thick coat.
6⃣️ Exchange local currency at the bank in advance, prepare enough cash for shopping on the island.
One day I saw the sunset forty-four times
One day, I saw the sunset forty-four times.
You know, when people feel very depressed.
Always like the sunset.
The sunset on Boracay Island always surprises people, sometimes it is red, sometimes it is orange, sometimes it is pink, why do everyone like to travel? It's for the expectation, excitement, joy, and relaxation in the travel.
Seaside, sunset, beach, beer, afterglow, the earth seems to be writing a gentle letter, to me, to you, the sunset is particularly gentle, the world is all romantic.
The restless heart seems to be lit at that moment.

Boracay Escaped 2022
Me and my family visited Boracay and booked our ticket here at trip.com ! I think this was my best summer since pandemic happened. We booked at Fairways And Bluewater Boracay and I must say that this hotel is one of the best! Also good place to relax ,it's a quite place and no noice really, they also provide free shuttle to roam around the area. They also have private resort which is really a beautiful beach! I think they got 3 pools and they have buffet breakfast too! We also tried a lot of activities at station 1 which we enjoyed a lot! #fairwaysandbluewaterboracay #boracay #trip.com

Food Tripping in Boracay
For the number of available activities, popular restaurants and for just relaxing at the beach, a 3 days 2 nights trip to Boracay is not enough. Aside from the island’s blue waters and white sand, Boracay also offers a mouthwatering variety of food. Some restaurants have already built-up a following thus making these restaurants a tourist spot themselves. As we only have a short period of time, we couldn’t try all the popular restaurants. We also used this food tripping to visit all the stations in Boracay. Listed below are the restaurants we’ve tried with it’s corresponding arrangement as uploaded.
1-5. Café Maruja – Located in Station 3, it’s a beachfront café that serves all-day brunch food. They’re especially famous for their instagrammable smoothie bowls.
6-8. Cha-cha’s – Located in Station 2, this beachfront café is the in-house restaurant of COAST. They’re also famous for their Ube Champorado, which I really loved.
9-12. Maya’s Filipino Cuisine – Located in Station 1, this beachfront restaurant serves Mexican and Filipino food. They also serve Jony’s Fruitshake. We devoured all the food we ordered here.
13. Coco Mama – Located in Station 1, his shop is also famous for its instagrammable coconut ice cream. It was also good for me, as I love sweet things.
14-17. Mama’s Fish House – Located at Diniwid beach, this restaurant is situated next to Microtel. They are famous for their paella, and it was so good!
18. Halomango – Located in D’mall Station 2, this shop sells mango ice cream. This was just okay for us but still worth trying.

Land Tour in Boracay: DIY
One of the many activities in the famous island of Boracay is the land tour. This is also a nice addition to your itinerary when visiting the island aside from water activities. It is a different experience to go around the island by traversing the roads as you’ll be passing by the local neighborhood. You can arrange the land tour without online booking. There will be a lot of vendors offering this activity right as you arrive the island. The prices depends on the vehicle, no. of people, and the itinerary. You can also haggle down the price a bit and compare to other vendors.
We engaged a tour operator by the shore and arranged the details via text. Our itinerary is based on what my family and I wanted to see with the tour lasting for 3 hours. The tour is flexible regarding drop-offs and duration. You may extend for a fee but it depends whether the driver have another booking or not. We tipped our driver as he was very helpful especially in taking our group photos.
As featured in the photos, these are the list of places we went to:
1-2. Willy's Rock
3. Leaning coconut tree at Bulabog Beach
4. Boracay Station 2 shore
5-6. Boracay Newcoast (Cujo's Keyhole)
7. Puka Beach
8. Boracay Station 3 shore

ligan beach
The best beach in boracay (I guess in the wet season). Clean, less crowded and surrounded with nature. Also you can snorkel directly from the beach to see the best corals and fishes in the area (including clown fishes if you swim around turtle island). The best way to come here is by land. If you come as part of a boat trip, you will be rushed to leave way too early. We came the first day in a boat and then the next day with a tricycle.

Why Boracay?
#boracaytrip
Philippines is made up of more than 7,000 islands and where the beaches are just too many to explore. But Boracay will take the crown as it is definitely on top of the list for the best beaches not just in the Philippines but also around the world. It boasts the best white sand and perfect view of the sunset. There are a number of water activities that you can try and surely enjoy!

Outdoor Shopping Mall in Boracay🇵🇭
#timetotravel
This is the D'Mall in Boracay located in station 2 of the white beach. This is where all the tourists come to buy their souvenirs and also enjoy local delicacies. There are a lot og shops and restaurants here so it is very convenient. A mall by the beach is so much fun especially when your hotel is also around here. We were here alsmost everyday trying out new restaurants.. Enjoy!

Lemoni Cafe & Restaurant | Boracay 🇵🇭

We just got done with our island hopping. We needed to have some snacks before going back to our hotel, and we found this one.
Lemoni Cafe & Restaurant serve a menu of fresh, healthy gourmet cuisine, refreshing beverages, desserts, and cakes to die for. I tried mochachino and mango madness- a bestseller.
Definitely recommend this place. Check them out if you're in Boracay 😊

Boracay Island Vibes! 🌊
Boracay Beach is probably one the most popular and most visited beaches in the Philippines located in the province of Aklan. The island's breathtaking beauty attracts travellers from all over the Philippines and the world. Truly a place worth visiting. No wonder why people love spending holiday vacation here. ❤️
We stayed at La Carmela de Boracay Resort Hotel and it was fantastic. It is a beachfront property located at Station 2. Stunning white sand beaches, clear blue waters, friendly locals and delicious food are just few of the things we loved in this island. Will definitely come back soon!

Must go island in the world(Boracay)
#boracaytrip
One of the must-see places for vacation is the island of Borocay. It is a 1-hour flight from Manila which is the capital of the Philippines.
You can come to the island with by boat at an affordable price from the airport located just outside the island.
Among the things to do on the island are walking on its magnificent beach, riding in transparent canoes, going on boat tours and watching the magnificent view at sunset.
You will never want to leave here

#boracaytrip Experience:
Immersed in the pristine beauty of White Beach on Boracay Island, I embarked on a sun-soaked summer escapade that combined beachside playfulness with the enchantment of the sea. Sharing my personal odyssey, practical insights, and travel wisdom, I invite fellow wanderers to savor the allure of Boracay's White Beach, where sandy shores meet turquoise waters in perfect harmony.

With powder-soft sand between my toes, I reveled in beach games and water activities on White Beach. Building sandcastles, engaging in beach volleyball, and leisurely strolls along the shore enriched my days with carefree joy and a deep connection to the island's natural wonders.
Exploring the Island's Treasures:
After sun-kissed days by the sea, I ventured to Puka Beach, a quieter gem nestled on the northern tip of Boracay. Here, untouched beauty met serene solitude, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful retreat. The shimmering waters and coarser sands offered a different beach experience, allowing me to unwind in tranquility.

Boracay's Important Landmark🇵🇭
#boracaytrip
This is a very popular spot for tourists and locals especially those who are Catholics. It has got a statue of Virgin Mary on top of the rocks where people offer their prayers. Since this is an iconic landmark in Boracay, everyone wants to take photos with it as a background so sometimes it can get crowded.
This is located near station 1 of the white beach so if your accommodation is at station 3 then this is around three or four kilometers walk. Really depends on where you are wether station 1 2 and 3. Hopping onto a motorcycle is convenient if you are not fond of walking.
So, if you are ever in Boracay, Willy's Rock Grotto is hard to miss.

Puka Shell Beach in Boracay 🇵🇭
#boracaytrip
If you want a quiter and less crowded beach in Boracay then head to Puka Shell Beach. It is located in the northern part of the island. You get there by tuktuk or you can rent your own motorbike or ebike to get there and roam around the island. This beach is I guess so much cleaner than the white beach on station 1 2 and 3. What I mean with "cleaner" is, it doesn't have seaweeds floating around. However, the sand is not as fine as the 3 station at the white beach thus the name Puka Shell Beach. There are no resorts nor hotels by the beach but there are so little shopa where you can eat and drink. There are people who will sell you their products but it is always up to you to reject and be firm with it.

Kayak Rental Fee: 250 per person and the person who paddles the kayak will be taking the photos as well. It didn't have a time duration as long as you're done with all your poses. The guys will instruct you what to do and all the amazing poses so you don't need to be worried about being awakward.
Location: Puka Shell Beach, Yapak District (Located in the northern part of the island)

Must Visit Island Hopping in Boracay 🇵🇭
#boracaytrip
Coming home to the Philippines wouldn't be complete without visitng the world famous Boracay beach which is only an hour flight away from Manila.
Crystal Cove is one of the islands that must be visited while being in Boracay. I must say that the water here is much cleaner (without the seaweeds) and there are so many spots for photos. You need to walk to reach the most picturesque area of the island though, but it is well worth it once you reach the area with the "crystal cove" sign on the background.
Do not miss including crystal cove in your itinerary while you are in Boracay. Please book an island hopping tour a day before your actual visit.
Enjoy your #summerbreak #beachlife #philippines #beach

Parasailing in Boracay, A Core Memories🪂
#wecreate
— Parasailing in Boracay is indeed one for the books. There’s a story behind this island activity, my niece really wanted to try the parasailing since she lived in Canada and wasn’t able to try it in when she traveled in Mexico. Ever since on our day one in Boracay she’s been asking if we could do parasailing.
I’m honestly afraid because of the fear down in the sea but as a supportive and loving auntie. I have to give in.
And with all honesty it was really added in my core memories, plus knowing that I made my niece happy. I’m the best aunt for her.
Make sure to try the parasailing in Boracay and have a glimpse of the beautiful island from above. The jetty boat experience added in this adventure is also one for the books. The staff are very nice and accommodating :)

Island life
#visitboracay for an ideal beach holiday. it’s recently been closed so that the local government can clean the beach and return it to it’s former glory. the beach itself has people playing music during the day with lots of little bars and restaurants dotted along the way too. Getting there requires a boat ride after landing at an airport on a neighbouring island but it’s worth the travel time. The hotels and restaurants are all very reasonably priced and there are excursions available such as snorkelling which is priceless #tripblazers #mytripvlog #awesomepic #summervacation
