Tiger Trash-Sure
Catch this colourful tiger exhibit “Trash-Sure” and take a photo with MBS in the background. From its name, you can guess that trash has been used to make this tiger art. Its actual location is by going towards the Floral Fantasy area towards The Meadows which is at the SG50 lattice garden. A very good effort to showcase how trash can be used to create art and a timely reminder to conserve our planet and make it environment friendly. Come over here the next time when you are at Gardens by the Bay. You can try turning right instead of the usual left to go towards Flower Dome.

Carnvial food 🥩
Singapore does not regularly have street food like in many cities, only during fun fairs or carnivals then we will get to see them. Gastrobeats is one such example, and one of the more expensive one as compare to the neighbourhood ones.
There were so many food and beverages at gastrobeats I couldn’t even decide what I want. We eventually settled for beef cubes because they were one of my favourite street food overseas. We also bought a durian shake.
For those who has atas taste bud, you can try creations from local and international master chefs. While I did not try that, there are many people who did.
I also like that there are proper dining areas these days at funfairs. I don’t remember having a lot of these back before the pandemic and I truly appreciate it.

Arty Farty at Gastrobeats
Gastrobeats this year includes a mini area for food panda with free gaming booths. I didn’t queue for the games but many of them did as they were free food vouchers and panda figurines for giveaway.
I really like the chalk art on the floor, it’s so artsy and so me. I wonder who drew them.
There are also UFO catching machines, and let me tell you in Singapore it is rare to see fun fair UFO catching machines that actually offers toys that looks REAL and authentic. I did not play them as I already have a lot of toys at home.
The jumptopia booths also had nightsticks and balloons which were rather affordable. So parents you can buy those instead of spending money on the UFO machines.

Rolling in December with the family to watch the most interesting cirque in town!
The Great Cirque des Cascades
This is the first time I watched the Circus Performance with my family in Singapore. The show is excellent both entertaining to my parents and my children. We love it very much and hope to watch more of these performances in Singapore again!
Splendid, Spectacular, Encore!
The Great Cirque des Cascades is finally in town! After a 2 Years hiatus due to covid, we can now finally head out and watch the Circus under a big tent with a large number of audience. The feeling was awesome. What about the Circus show? I give you 3 words - splendid, spectacular and encore, please!
I enjoyed the performances thoroughly, and so did my kids! The costumes were bright and beautiful. The acrobatic stunts were jaw dropping and so many times my heart popped, as I fear for the performers and their dangerous acts, but they never fail to accomplish their stunts. Props used were amazing and the clown tickled us funny. There were times where audiences were picked out to engage in certain acts as well, very interactive and fun!
Also, just outside the Circus tent, is a trip.com booth where you could try your luck in a 'toss a ring' game to win some prizes. Even if you didn't win, that's fine because you could still get an ice cream as a consolation.
Go grab your tickets for the Circus now, you will definitely say "splendid, spectacular, encore!"

Singapore Food Festival 2002 started from 24 Aug 2022 to 11/09/2022 for its 29th editions. Located at 12A Bayfront Avenue, Singapore 018970, just beside The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, can be reached by Downtown Line Bayfront station ( DT16 ) and Circle Line Batlyfront station ( CE1 ). The entrance ticket is $15 when you buy online and get a $10 credit voucher, used to offset your food purchase.
With around 25 food establishments in this event, the first I chose to eat is wanji wanton mee, a bowl of Q noodles, with 3 pieces of smokey kurobuta char siew and 3 pieces of wanton filled with sole fish that cost $12. 2nd is Smoked Brisket by Kaya Toast set, a combination of sweet and salty taste, but the Brisket a bit dry cost $16, 3rd is Chilli Crab Bombe by Sourbombe Bakery have the taste of the chilli Crab on the bakery cost $7 and the last one is Chicken curry with golden mantou by Rempapa, the curry is a bit salty but pair up with the mantou that is perfect cost $9.
