Dutch Cheese Tour - Amsterdam

It is always great learning the cultural differences and traditional practices of different countries. That is why when I travel, I love visiting places where it gives me exposure and knowledge of that country. When I was in Volendam in Amsterdam, i had the best opportunity to learn more about the Dutch way of eating and their importance in cheesemaking. At their cheese factory, I had first hand insight into their traditional way of producing cheese and it showed us step by step how their different types of cheese were made. At the end of it, you get to taste their cheese and you may purchase their cheese if you wish to. All in all, it was educational and an eye opener.
