This winter's "snow" has been particularly lively. First, there was the early snow in December. Then came the snow and freezing rain in January. Before the year's end, there was widespread snowfall across the country, and the south was no exception; many places suffered from severe cold weather, and the freezing rain affected the operation of high-speed trains and bullet trains, causing a large number of tourists to be stranded at stations. Spring Festival time in Jiangxi still had the feeling of a sunny March, and people went out to visit temples and various scenic spots. The Pure Land Garden of Donglin Temple also welcomed a post-New Year peak of visitors, with more than 100,000 tourists over several consecutive days. The bright sun shone, and the plum blossoms bloomed, their fragrance wafting in the wind. Tourists stopped to take photos and check in. In the blink of an eye, a bout of freezing rain and snow took us into a silver world, instantly experiencing the scenery of the northern frontier. However, this snow was a bit different from that of the north; it was not so soft and fluffy, but made a rustling sound as it fell, half-melting and half-freezing into ice on the ground. From a distance, it looked like snow, but up close, it was actually a layer of ice, hard and crisp underfoot. Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be freezing rain.
