The Poet of Everlasting Regret

The flower path is located to the southwest of Guling Street on Mount Lu, where the Dalin Temple, once one of the three great temples of Mount Lu, was situated. In the Tang Dynasty, it was acclaimed as 'the premier view of Kuanglu' and was the place where Bai Juyi composed his poem 'Peach Blossoms at Dalin Temple'. There is a lake here called the Flower Path Lake, which people now refer to as Ruhu Lake, named for its violin-like shape. A curved bridge leads to the central island of the lake, where the garden is full of blooming flowers, winding paths lead to secluded spots, and the combination of lake views and mountain scenery creates a picturesque landscape.
