No air conditioning - rude staff I specifically booked this hotel because it states there IS air conditioning, but when I arrived it was switched off. It was VERY hot in the room exposed all day long to sunlight. The very rude staff said that, even if they get your money for a room WITH air conditioning, they let it switched off and that's all. I insisted and they told me it was raining up to few days ago; I told them TODAY there is a very hot sun and it is impossible to sleep in such a hot room. No way - they get your full money in advance and then do not deliver what they sold you. I had to buy a fan and slept only 4 hours. Terrible experience. When I came back at midnight because I tried to let some air in (since they even left the windows closed after cleaning, terrible smell and terrible temperature!) at the reception I found arabian guys listening to loud arabian music; they had difficulties understanding the number of the room, since they spoke french. Old building, worn-out facilities, extremely hot water in the shower that was impossible to adjust. Do not go there.

Upon arriving at the hotel late in the evening we were greeted by name and led immediately to our suite. They had started the hot tub for us earlier so it would be warm. We were very impressed with the Blue Suite, which was comfortable and well appointed. Also loved the check in staff and the gentleman who escorted us to our room. We got room service, which was well done and fairly fast. The hot tub was not warm enough to get into. It didn't really get warm enough until well after we went to bed, which was disappointing. Slept well and the shower in the room was fabulous. The next morning we went to breakfast which was...just ok. The food was decent but the experience was somewhat ruined by the fact that the staff int he breakfast room made it clear they weren't really there to assist us with anything and they spent the entire time rushing around, turning tables over for lunch and dinner. It made the whole meal feel very rushed, like we needed to get out of their way so they could switch our table. We aren't big TV folks but we wanted to see what we might be able to get and the TV directions were so Byzantine that we gave up after a while. The coffee in the breakfast room was awful, but that barista at the bar made a great one, and he was very friendly. We checked out. The desk staff were professional but not overly friendly. The hotel grounds were well maintained and the parking was ample for our massive camper van. Pet friendly was a plus. We will likely go back because we loved the room. But there are a few things they could improve with the AM staff/operations.

I dressed in Zola Predosa and often, for work, I have been accompanying my staff in this hotel for years (where I book always leaving my guarantee card), this weekend I accompany 2 of my employees as usual, When I arrive at the hotel I don't find the usual girl at the reception (very very good and awake) but a boy who refuses to let me go up to my partners and say goodbye despite my readiness to leave him the document (as I always do, It was 19:00 and I went to take them for dinner) and the booking was guaranteed by my card. I didn't even want to lose time to discuss with this character and I went, the next day I moved them to another hotel in the area where they were more educated to their customers, It is a pity that I have been in this cavernish situation after years in a hotel I chose for my partners.

In the old town of Bologna, it is close to the convention center and the city centre. Even better, the hotel has a good environment, the sun is shining, the air is fresh and circulated, and it is much better than the hotels in the dark alleys in Modena. Even better, there are supermarkets near the hotel, a delicious Chinese restaurant, and a delicious local restaurant. Even better, the hotel staff are super kind and friendly. It's perfect.

I visited with my family for 1 night as a night stop. On arrival the area does not look particularly attractive & the outside of the hotel looks a little tired. But once inside the hotel is lovely & the staff very friendly & helpful. The rooms are large with air conditioning & very clean with lovely shabby shic furniture. There is a car park at the back of the hotel but it is a little small although we were able to park our cars in there. Breakfast was what you would expect of a continental. There is a very good Italian restaurant next door to the hotel which we used for dinner.

It's very close to the airport, so it's convenient to catch a plane the next day. Breakfast is very average, only cereals can be soaked in milk to satisfy hunger. Room space is good, soundproofing is not good, sneezing next door can be heard.

we did a one day meeting in one middle size meeting room inside the Hotel. Everything was perfect . Nice place, comfortable, good lunch, good service and reasonable price . People at the reception are very well educated and prepared to serve you as needed. Well recommended . Location is fantastic, good for station and for airport.

I had a reservation made directly in this hotel. It was recommended by some friends. About 2 weeks before my planned stay, I was reached by Paolo from CDH Hotel Bologna front office, with the information that the central office management had decided to close the hotel for a few days, and that included the day of my reservation. Within 24hrs Paolo called me back after having found for me a better accommodation in a close by hotel at the exact same rate. This is what I call customer service! Thank you. I will for sure come back again to try your rooms!
