Airone Residence

Unfortunately our expectations were not met as the photos and services offered do not correspond to what is described on their website and on Booking. The apar**ent in which we stayed was very spartan and with many shortcomings: old and worn crockery, lack of support points both in the kitchen and in the bathroom. The bathroom is definitely the sore point that needs a major renovation. We found the shower dirty, small and uncomfortable, without a shelf for shampoo and shower gel and it has a tiny shower head which makes it difficult to wash. The sink is small and has no cabinet to store products. There is only a small mirror container which is absolutely not sufficient. Furthermore we only found a couple of towels which for a 7 day stay are not enough and a roll of toilet paper, already started. The Wi-Fi works intermittently and when connected it is very slow. There are two entrances, the one on the lower floor looks more like a campsite than an aparthotel, clothes and beach towels hanging out, external washing machines in operation and noisy guests feasting on the balconies next to the passage. The second entry is better. The property could have good potential but would need numerous measures to make your stay pleasant and therefore encourage you to return. The quality-price ratio is decidedly disproportionate given that having frequented the area for several years there are structures that offer better services and quality for the same price.

Positive aspects: The location of the residence is very convenient, right in front of the path that leads to Zambrone beach; the markets (two) right near the entrance to the residence, the pharmacy and the fishmonger, allow you not to take the car for these needs. If desired, in front of the entrance there is the Zambrone train station complete with a bar and a good ice cream shop. The residence's kitchen equipment is well-stocked: there is also an oven and a microwave. Good reserved parking spaces, one closed with a barrier and the other with a gate. Good swimming pool with sea view. Negative aspects: Having stayed last year in an apar**ent with a side sea view and having found it relatively well, this year we booked well in advance (1 January 2022), ensuring a seafront apar**ent, but upon arrival, the the large window in the living room overlooking the sea was ruined and did not allow a view of the sea unless it was opened; pointing out the problem to the person who welcomed us, we were simply told that it was a problem with condensation on the double glazing and that there was nothing they could do about it (we highlighted that they should have done maintenance before the guests arrived); the balcony of the living room overlooking the sea did not have awnings, so from 12.30 pm (around this period) until sunset (or so), you had to stay with the internal darkening curtains closed to avoid being bothered by the sun in the face even at lunch (fortunately we had our own umbrella which we used to partially cover the discomfort); the shower in the bathroom was very small (60x60 cm), not allowing entry to a person of robust build, and preventing movement for a person of average build. The first washing machine we did, the balcony flooded because the drain pipe was broken (again due to poor preventative maintenance), fortunately the maintenance worker intervened promptly, so we took the opportunity to have him restore one of the two non-working ceiling lights in the living room. The swimming pool with sea view was equipped with a bar whose opening times were not reliable, however, not guaranteeing the possibility of having breakfast or having a coffee after lunch. Unfortunately the sea was not clean this year.

Struttura molto bella in posizione strategica per raggiungere spiagge bellissime e magnifici posti da visitare. Appartamenti moderni dotati di ogni comfort, personale gentilissimo e disponibile per ogni necessità /informazione. Ambienti molto puliti e ben curati. Piscina e zona solarium bellissime con vista panoramica a dir poco mozzafiato.... non ho mai ammirato tramonti così belli e indimenticabili come da lì. Nelle immediate vicinanze disponibile ogni genere di prima necessità. Ho viaggiato da sola con un bimbo piccolo e mi sono trovata benissimo lo consiglio a tutti... coppie, gruppi di amici, famiglie... i dintorni sono fantastici, mare super e località bellissime da visitare..... una nota negativa però c'è.... che quando vai via ti piange il cuore!!!!!!

Sono stata con amici in questo residence alloggiando in un appartamento trilocale. Per noi è stato tutto ottimo! Ottima posizione per girare la zona, pulizia dell'appartamento al nostro arrivo e gentilezza del personale che ci è venuto incontro nell'orario di check in e check out. Preziosa la lavatrice in appartamento visto il prezzo economico (bassa stagione). Da migliorare la pulizia delle stoviglie e alcune piccole cose da sistemare che abbiamo indicato al personale. Nel complesso se ci si accontenta è un buon alloggio.
