The whole experience at Oceana Suites was truly amazing . The Staff were lovely and the food very good, a good choice, i liked the pizza and pasta section. We had our own little private pool and that was just divine. It is such a beautiful place in every sense We will definitely return Thank everyone at Oceana

Our stay at the TUI Blue Oceana Suites was end of April/early May 2024.  This was our 5th visit to Tunisia! We had a wonderful holiday and will most definitely return to this hotel. Apparently, as of 1 May 2024, the hotel became no longer part of TUI Blue and ownership has reverted to the owner. It's been interesting to discover that future bookings via TUI no longer offer the Junior Suites with Partial Sea View as a pre-paid upgrade package, so it seems that to get any sea view, partial or full will definitely require per person/per night supplement payments (prices at reception).  Guests are French, German, British, Tunisian, Dutch and Russian. THE GOOD * The staff are all great, hard-working and attentive. As well as Tunisian Arabic, most of them can speak French, English and German pretty well and some speak some Russian.  In particular, we received great service from SAMEH on reception, SABER in the restaurant and MUHAMMED also in the restaurant. Thank you so much to all three of you. * Housekeeping was also excellent and our lady would do things like leaving our towels shaped like kissing swans, arranging sweets in heart shapes and scattering flower petals in pretty shapes, etc. Really nice touches! * The hotel's location is perfect - right on the private beach. We swam in the sea despite it not yet being warm as it will be later on in the season. The beach is just for hotel guests and sunbeds are free to use there. Great! * The main round swimming pool is beautiful and we swam in it. It's surrounded by beautifully tended immaculate gardens with plenty of sunbeds around - no need to rush for them! * There is a pool bar which wasn't yet open during our stay, but was opening the week after we left. However, there was waiter service for drinks if you were at the pool, so that was fine for us. *  There is a lovely indoor pool and a gym, both of which we used. Also an attractive spa which we didn't use. * There was no daytime entertainment or music (hooray), so the pool area was always a wonderfully restful place. For us, loud music and animation teams working the guests round the pool is our holiday nigh**are, so it was so good to NOT have to endure that! * The minimal evening entertainment was ideal for us too. No animation team (hooray). Just simple things like the occasional singer, piano bar etc. Not too much and not disturbingly noisy if you wanted an early night. * The suite rooms are spacious and carpeted, with wonderfully comfortable superking or twin beds with fluffy pillows, a dressing room, en suite bathroom and a balcony. There are inter-connecting suites available too. There are also ground floor rooms with private pools but they do require a supplement to be paid. * In our opinion, the food was lovely. I've noticed that in their reviews, people often make negative comments about food choices and menu repetition at All Inclusive hotels, but every day at the Oceana Suites, they were catering for all tastes offering 2 ta

Hotel brilliant all staff great 👍 food good service 👌 great will visit again but not in April/May as we lost 3 days of our holiday with the seminars gusts took second place had to eat in small dining room with half the choices of food which was only just warm and the plates were cold 🥶 couldn't get to the toilet and wash hand's as it was full of people putting make-up on the only place to get any peace was in our room I understand it's a business but I'm sure the gusts should come first as we pay a lot o money 💰 for our holidays it was such a shame will definitely visit again but not when seminars are taking place 😀 I

My mother and I (25 y/o) stayed for a week at the very grand TUI Blue Oceana Suites at the end of April 2024. The hotel itself is around a 25-30 minute drive from Enfidha airport and we had no problems getting on the transfer bus. Throughout our stay we were treated impeccably by the hotel staff, from receptionists, to bar staff, to the pool and beach staff. There are too many to name but a special thanks to Salah, Sameh and Emma at reception for always being on-hand to help us with any queries big or small! On arrival we were upgraded to a pool view suite which had its own balcony. The mini-fridge in the room (included in the all-inclusive package) was refilled daily with water, beers, and coke/soft drinks. Food-wise we had no complaints whatsoever, there was a lot of variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Pork products were available for those who wanted it, and there was always a number of local dishes that were delicious. Coming to Tunisia I had wanted to try Mloukhia, and the hotel served this almost every day- highly recommended. There was also the usual selection of fruit, salad, pizza and pasta. Branded alcohol was available at an additional cost but I was personally very satisfied with the local beer, wine, and rum included in the package. As part of the all inclusive package you are able to order a bottle of wine for dinner for example. In addition to the buffet restaurant, there is an A La Carte restaurant which we were able to use as part of our package once during our stay. Entertainment-wise the hotel was quite low-key however this may have been due to the low-season in which we visited. Having said that, on 2-3 nights we had a fantastic pianist playing in the main lobby. He would play a mix of classical as well as Western music (Beatles for example). We also had a belly dancing night followed by a great singer. In terms of amenities, it is recommended to take your own currency in CASH and change it at the reception desk into Tunisian Dinars. The rate is pretty much as close to the real rate as you can get. Just remember to get the receipt for every exchange you make (or if you withdraw from an A**) as you are not permitted to take the currency out of the country and will need proof of the exchange if you try to change the cash back into your local currency. The hotel also has a Spa and Shop on site which seemed to be adequately priced. A TUI rep visits the hotel during your stay and they will tell you about the trips you can do through them, however do consider the trips that the hotel offer also. They are cheaper than the TUI trips, but keep in mind that if you book through the hotel is has to be in Cash and also the driver is more of a ‘driver’ rather than a tour guide.

Had the most amazing stay here. Everyone at the hotel was so lovely! Specifically, Salah at the hotel made sure I was well looked after and was so helpful! He arranged all my transport whilst at the hotel, which was amazing because I was traveling solo for work and didn't speak the language. I'd love to stay here again and highly recommend it.

This was the forth time in five years that we have stayed at the Oceana (or Kia Sol as it was previously), and each time is just as good as the last. The staff are excellent, the accomodation is spacious and clean, grounds and beach immaculate, and I could not fault the food. Unfortunately I became ill shortly after returning to the UK, hence the delay in posting. Anyway, I'm feeling much better now, so lets have a holiday, where shall we go? To the Oceana Suites obviously! Looking forward to seeing all our old friends again in June

Absolutely amazing. My wife and I visited Tunisia for the first time and stayed at TUI Blue Ocean Suites for 4 nights - from the moment you drive in thought the gates and enter the huge lobby the great experience started. Greeted by the wonderfully friendly staff, who sat us down with ice cold lemon juices while they got the admin done. The Room was ready in no time and it was very big, clean, with Pool and Sea views and you could even see the harbour port boats at Yasmin Bay in the distance. Our favourite part was the beach. Pristine sand, turquoise sea and blue skies. We had mid 20s degrees weather for all of our stay, perfect to lounge in the nice heat. We spent a lot of time sunning and snoozing. As it was Ramadan and out of season everything was beautifully quite and peaceful. Only handful of guests at pool and beach at any one time. I have never experienced relaxation quite like this. As vegetarians we are usually concerned with limited options in the buffet but this too was really good. Many nice vegetable dishes and a pasta and pizza station as well. Great friendly, polite and helpful staff all around, in particular the two ladies at reception, the security life guard at the beach and the pool guys who were always at hand to provide towels and help. We visited Yasmin Marina by walking along the beach, only takes 15 minutes, nice views and great for stroll through big streets and shops if needed. We also visited Old Town, had lunch at sea side restaurant and visited the fort which only only 8 dinar each, about 2 pound, where you have great views. Taxis for travelling are also super cheap. Overall a brilliant experience, highly recommended. One tip would be to watch out for shop vendors when visiting old town and the marina. They are very pushy to get you to visit their shops. Constantly hounding you one after the other as you walk past. Also a little con we noticed is someone will come up to you and say they are the chef from your hotel. They will act very friendly and act like they saw you at the restaurant the night before. Then they will push you to visit a shop of theirs or family member to buy something. Don't follow anyone like this. One more annoying this as above. When you walk on the beach, you will be approached by someone on a camel or horse and say take a ride or take a photo. This is not endorsed by the hotel. They took can be pushy. Just be firm and say no. Other than that, wonderful experience

My son and I just came back from a 10 day stay at Oceana over Easter. The best thing about the place was the highly attentive and friendly stayed. Some of those to mention was Emna on reception who was great and the highly attentive bar and restaurant staff Ameur, Mohamed, Bashir, Mhenar, Salah, Kamal and Fatti amongst others. There was constant good service at the bar and around do the pool and the restaurant staff were so good that they set up our favourite table for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including an ice bucket with our favourite wines and soft drinks ready to go. Great omelette bar for breakfast. Tips are appreciated by the staff and I think you get a slightly better service for giving deserved tips. I personally changed up £100 for 5 dinar notes (about £1.30) for the 10 days which was more than enough for the great service provided. Weather for March/April was lovely - non-stop sun and mid 20s the whole time for our entire 10’days and pool was great. The room was OK, but I’d say it may have been in need of a bit of a refurb as isn’t as plush at the general areas like the lobby. Also, I’d advise getting a room overlooking the main pool as our room only overlooked the adult pool round the back and we didn’t get a second of sun and in March/April it’s not warm enough to sit out out on the terrace in the sun. A big positive also was that being out of season and an exclusive hotel, and during Ramadan, it was quiet which meant there was loads of room around the pool and beach, no queues at the restaurant and bars. There weren’t many children even during the Easter Hols, I think as it was a Tui Blue. I think some of the other hotels around Hammamet were busier. However, the quietness, also meant that a lot of facilities were closed. From the hotel’s point of view, I can understand this for pragmatic reasons, but when booking, Tui advertised a beach bar, poolside bar and restaurant as being open, which were shut the whole time, and a la carte options. When there was only one open for one night a week. The Tui Sahara trip is highly recommended. Two very long days, but you see amazing sites - Roman amphitheatre, a Sahara camel tour, sunrise and Jeep ride through the salt lakes, seeing the Star Wars set, an overnight stay and 4-5 meals Included for about £100 a head. Overall, a very good stay though!
