HUMBLE HALL

For the first time in life, A hotel that I would never leave. The waiter who picked me up from the ferry terminal was wearing black Chinese overalls, carrying a white canvas bag, and holding a yellow umbrella... When we arrived at the hotel gate, the girl in white with a big smile came out to greet us... When we entered the lobby, we were immediately served with welcome tea (Picture 1). We opened our towels, wiped our hands, and drank tea while waiting to check in... Brother Huang Umbrella and a manager sent us to the room, and explained the facilities and supporting facilities in detail, and even demonstrated how to secure the room door... Then go to the coffee shop and enjoy the exquisite afternoon tea provided by the hotel. The tables and chairs in the cafe are all medieval, which appeals to my aesthetic taste... What I didn't expect is that the desserts taste better than those in professional shops outside! Also, after learning that we were here for our wedding anniversary, the hotel immediately upgraded our room for free. What a surprise. The hotel is where the famous piano master Yin Chengzong received piano enlightenment from an early age. There are only 13 rooms, and the overall decoration style is retro and high-end. I held my camera and couldn't stop taking pictures... Breakfast was also very good. Every waiter is kind and polite. If you come to Gulangyu Island, I highly recommend staying at Hongtang.

The price of Gulangyu during the May Day holiday is too expensive. Fortunately, we mentioned that we went out one day and booked a room with a reasonable price. The little Jasmine was renovated, American style, the room was a bit small, and there was a small public living room on the first and second floors. The whole is decent. The boss is enthusiastic and has no suggestions for play. The hotel is estimated to be one kilometer away from Sanqiutian Wharf, after walking the lively faucet road, in a small alley.

The hotel is newly renovated and the decoration style is very distinctive. Brand new facilities, the rooms are clean and the hotel environment is very comfortable, so that we can sleep at ease. The service is thoughtful and intimate, and the hotel reminds us to book ferry tickets one day in advance. The hotel has a certain history and culture, which deeply touched me. The rich breakfast made me feel particularly kind. Next time I come to Gulangyu, I will definitely come to stay at Zhang's Heji Villa Hotel.

The environment is very comfortable. There are very intimate steps on each staircase. The location is also very good. There are supermarkets and snack streets nearby. If you want to buy some daily necessities, I suggest you go to Xia Shang supermarket. The bed in this hotel is really cheap. Also very comfortable. The front desk lady is also very attentive and in place [强][强] Gulangyu is also a good place for everyone to come

The location is very good, close to the attractions snack street, ten minutes walk from the pier, two or three minutes to the snack street, almost five minutes to Sunlight Rock. The house is a historically protected building, and the boss has been around for 100 years. Some windows and doors don't work and look a bit old, but it doesn't affect it. The boss was friendly, from the store to help with the luggage, and then sent the map to explain the guide, the recommended restaurant is also good, at the beginning, I deliberately searched for a high score, and I was very satisfied with the price, which was trustworthy. Gulangyu is really beautiful. I need to go back to work due to work reasons. Otherwise, I will specify to stay for a few more days. Haha
LEE MANOR HOTEL

When planning our trip to Gulangyu I had a clear objective in mind, I wanted to stay at Lee Manor. So we splurged a little and book at this very charming hotel built in 1920. Service is obviously top notch and we appreciated the little details like the pick up at the ferry with a bottle of refreshing tea, the suggestions for our dinner spot, the complimentary (and gorgeous) afternoon tea. I was impressed by the facilities, the building itself is gorgeous and all the decor elements are beautiful and well thought. Not being able to go back home in Europe for more then 15 months, this place reminded us Italy and it was a a soothing feeling for us both. A full Chinese breakfast is included in the price and there is an option of bread for Westerners. For that price I would have expected (and enjoyed) a cup of coffee but unfortunately I was told that the coffee machine was broken. The hotel is superbly located and the rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities. Our room was on the second floor, in the old building. The poor sound insulation could be a problem though for light sleepers (or if your neighbors are noisy). I could clearly hear the conversation the couple had in the room next door so I would suggest bringing earplugs for a better sleep. We loved our stay on the island and at Lee Manor! Thank you very much for the hospitality!

My friend came to Gulangyu and asked me to book a room for them and found this one on the Internet. Very satisfied. The room is clean, clean, well lit, and fully equipped. The landlord is warm and thoughtful. On the roof, you can see Sunlight Rock, the view is very good, and the location is excellent, very close to the snack street and the attractions. It is the off-season, the wind is beautiful, the sun is shining, it is the best time to travel. Friends are very satisfied.
