Shanshui S Hotel (Wuhan Optical Valley)

Stayed for two days in total. This is my first time staying at this hotel and also my last time. This is also the first time I have stayed in a hotel and written a negative review. 1. First of all, the room design is very unreasonable. The room is very dark at night and there is no main light. Even if the so-called "guest mode", which is the brightest in the room, is turned on, it is still very dark. If you want to sit and work or have something to eat, you must turn on a desk lamp. Who knows what it feels like in the dark, it is very depressing. 2. Secondly, the summer benefits and welcome fruits were specifically marked in the order, but these rights were not given to me. After I called the front desk and asked, I was told that the summer gift was the fruit in the lobby basket, which I could pick up myself. The welcome fruit said that it would be replenished the next day, but if the co-owner didn’t take the initiative to ask, all these rights would be ignored. And there was no refill the next day! 3. If the light in the make-up mirror in the room does not light up, it means it is broken. I have a need to put on make-up. I booked this room after seeing this in the room introduction. After asking the front desk, the answer was natural. The lights in some rooms are originally broken. Well, feeling bad seems like a legitimate thing to do. (I was later moved to another room, but without the makeup mirror...) 4. The wifi in the room is very poor! It's basically the same as nothing, it keeps getting disconnected, and you can only use data traffic. (After changing to another room, it is still very poor. I can only say that the hardware facilities are really not good. In addition, during the process, I lost a bottle of makeup remover in the original room. I couldn’t find it when I went there. I asked the guest room and they said it was not there. Seeing this made me buy makeup remover in the middle of the night...) Summary: As someone who has stayed in many hotels ranging from fast hotels to five-star hotels, this hotel is really not as good as some fast hotels. The price of three to four hundred is not worth it. (My room has the right to upgrade from a business king room to a zero-pressure king room. The zero-pressure price is more than 400. Whoever spends this money to stay in this room is a pure and innocent *****). The overall value is only two yuan. About a hundred levels. It's really not as good as some big-name chain express hotels. It is estimated that most of the good reviews are fake reviews, and the bad reviews are from real guests. It’s my fault that I didn’t read the reviews before booking. It was very uncomfortable for me to stay for two days... Also, don't believe the pictures of hotel rooms, they are completely different from the actual rooms. If it weren't for the fact that I couldn't withdraw, I would have wanted to leave on the same day. It is really a very low cost-effective hotel.

When I checked in in the afternoon, for the first time, there were slippers from the previous guest in the room that had not been cleaned up and the pillows looked like they had been pillowed on. After informing the front desk of the situation, we were told not to go downstairs to the front desk and wait for the housekeeping department to change the room. After waiting in the room for 30 minutes, we asked the front desk again. There was still no housekeeping department to help us change rooms, so we went down to the front desk to change rooms ourselves. In the second room we changed, there was hair left on the bed and it was confirmed that it did not belong to our traveling companions. The linen was in a state of decay; so we informed the front desk again and changed the room. The room that was changed for the third time was barely liveable. The overall lighting in the room is dim. As a high-end Ctrip hotel, I feel that it should not be of such quality. The service attitude is still acceptable. It is below normal. I hope it can be improved.

Very rubbish shabby hotel, not worth it at all

The hotel has an excellent location and the rooms are clean and hygienic. I am very grateful to the front desk ladies Luo Han, Wan Yan and Luo Fang for their excellent service.

The location of the hotel is good, the environment is comfortable, the travel is convenient, the staff is good, caring and meticulous.

The superior king bed booked on the first night and the deluxe king bed booked on the second night did not see any difference between the two rooms, but the prices were different. Ctrip used the upgrade rights, and none of them were used. On the second night, I experienced a power outage in the middle of the night. How could I sleep in Wuhan at a high temperature this night, and I could not walk (the elevators were all stopped). I stayed up until 7:00 in the morning, but there was still a power outage, so I could only pack up and go downstairs by myself, walking from the 18th floor to the first floor, forcing the residents to exercise, and since there was a power outage, there should be someone to guide me. This time I went downstairs in the dark and didn’t look at it. When I got to a staff member, the included breakfast was naturally gone, and I was on my way hungry. Ctrip asked for an explanation on the phone, but the hotel did not compensate at all, and they were innocent when they said the power outage was out. It was funny. Never had such a bad accommodation experience, Ctrip should strengthen this cooperative management, otherwise why book through Ctrip?

The front desk service is very good, the facilities are also good, it is worth recommending.

The hotel environment is good, the service is warm, the front desk service is first-class, and I will stay again next time
