After circling the Cleveland Clinic campus multiple times we finally found the drive to the hotel. We arrived late at night with my two young teens and while check in was smooth, the hallway reeked of cigarettes, the toilet seat was barely attached, and the shower curtain was barely long enough to keep water in. There was a large truck outside our window idling its loud engine and a car booming bass; I went and asked to change rooms. They weren't able to accommodate me. Then the truck left and a car alarm started incessantly, for the better part of an hour. Breakfast was cold and there wasn't any fruit, not even canned. I know it's not the Ritz, but we wanted a clean, quiet place to sleep before my child's event early in the morning and we'd have been better off leaving home at 630 in the morning and saving our money.
