City Plaza Osaka

I loved the view of this hotel from the outside and well as the view from my room. But what I DID NOT LIKE WAS THE BED. The bed was HARDDDDD. Loved the heated toilet seats, and the public bath (it was my first time doing that), the PJ set was nice too, you wear them to the public bath and in the room no where else. They provide you with information on how to properly use the public bath.The room was a decent size for the area. 8 min walk from the subway. 20 min walk from Osaka Castle. The area itself is VERY CALM, not to much going on aside from Osaka Castle.

Great location and very good onsen. The Family Mart below hotel adds further convenience as well.

Very good stay and highly recommended. Not far from the center, has a gym (additional charge) and the coin laundry is not so far from the hotel.

Loved our stay at City Plaza Osaka! We used Osaka as a base for our trip, going on multiple short day-trips followed by a longer stay in Tokyo, with one final night in Osaka before heading home. First room was clean and cozy, second room was HUGE and perfect for repacking our checked bag. Both rooms were comfortable and clean with excellent water pressure in the shower. Plenty of nice cafes and restaurants nearby, so didn’t try the hotel breakfast, but highly recommend Osaka Engine (has gluten free ramen options!) for a delicious meal! The FamilyMart downstairs was very convenient, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the onsen was the cherry on top. The hotel location was great, easy walking distance to various metro stations and sights like Osaka Castle. 10/10 would stay again!

CityPlaza Osaka was located in a very convenient area. It’s near Osaka Castle. There were also many subway stations around the hotel. It’s central to a lot of attractions. The breakfast was good and varied. The hospitality of the staff was excellent. They did a great job. The fitness center was clean and had a large variation of machines and weight. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure was great. My only complaint is that the carpet floor of my room had many stains on them. I’m sure they’ve been cleaned over many times, so it wasn’t too much of a bother. Affordable rooms with great amenities in Osaka.

Me and my husband enjoyed the stay very much. The hot spring was really good the room, even though it was very small. It was adequate enough and the hotel staff were very friendly and everything else was good. We would consider coming back here again if we are ever in Osaka.

Convenient walking distance to and from the Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station serving the Chuo Line [C] and Sakaisuji Line [K], makes for an easy thoroughfare to all parts of the city, Umeda, and Universal Studios, too. Great amenities are its upper floor Onsen on the 14th floor, along with the swimming pool and gym facilities for an additional (2 700¥) per visit. Room size is fairly spacious for solo travelers, but opt for beds for two persons or couples. The hotel does not have laundry facilities though the nearest laundromat is about 6-blocks away. Very clean and open 24/24. This hotel has a chapel inside on the second floor for those who are observant travelers (for Christian devotees). There are several other temples and shrines all within distance from the hotel itself. Accommodations are very good from a short stay to a business traveler’s perspective or personal experience within this part of Osaka’s financial districts. Very lovely places for returning visitors.

A wonderful stay! Very well located. I recommend it 200%, everything was great! Attentive staff, clean room, amazing onsen, and there was even a swimming pool!
