Miguel Miguel…. We called the hotel after a bad experience at the Sandals resort. We wanted to checkout at our expense and end our trip on a positive note. Wow!!! I went with my instinct and chose the first hotel in the city that felt like the right choice. Miguel answered gave us 2 room options to decide on when we arrived and helped arrange a taxi. Located on the most gorgeous street is this boutique hotel 5 min walk from the city center. Beautiful street away from the cruise traffic and with local shops and restaurants. When you enter you smell the scent of a luxury hotel (also in the room!). Miguel greeted us, helped us to our room, allowed us to decide on rooms, we immediately knew we made the right decision. It is an elegant, boutique, smaller property, small nice pool with bar, comfy rooms with good AC and referred us for one of the top breakfast of our lives. The best part is the people Miguel was exceptional and our first introduction, but every staff member was wonderful only helping us enjoy! We loved the small area by the hotel and purchased many items locally made. We dined around the hotel which was top, but also in the city and by the sea all walking distance. I dive and suggest Epsilon divers or talk to the wonderful woman that runs Lionfish steps from the hotel. I highly suggest staying here at least 2-3 nights. If you want the beach split your stay and enjoy this hotel and the city as well. Even if you do a big resort make an effort to stay here during part of your trip!!! Miguel thank you for the welcome, advice, smile and small lock to leave our heart in Curacao. Our bucket list is a return to this hotel we loved it so much! Miguel really made our stay and we realize a smiling face that makes your trip a pleasure is worth a lot more than the big resort offer!

Beautiful hotel very convenient to all shops and the Willemstad floating bridge. The staff was great and friendly. Wanted to specifically shout out Miguel at the front desk and the bartender at the pool for making our stay extra special! We hope to be back!

The Kura Botanica Boutique Hotel is in a superb location in Curaçao. The Kura Botanica staff is awesome. Kudos to Jeanette! The village is charming. Great restaurants nearby. You must try the Lionfish restaurant! Caleo restaurant, absolutely delicious. Thanks Sam for the drinks! Parking is great. We can’t thank you enough for the amazing experience.

Kura botanica is located right in the centre of Willemstad in Kura hulanda village a nice small village with great restaurants where Flores is our favorite. 5 minutes walk from the Queen Emma bridge and close to all the nice restaurants in the Riff fort, Punda and 20 mins from Pietermaai. The people working at this hotel give you a warm welcome and will do everything in their power to make your holiday the best experience ever. Change your beach towel as often as you need, private parking and boutique a**osphere. Special thanks to Miguel who goes the extra mile for his guests and nothing is to much. The breakfast in Maira,s kitchen was great and Naomi is so kind. Thankyou team for the great holiday and we hope to see you again. Frank en Danielle

The hotel is located in a lovely little pedestrian section of Otrobanda, a picturesque and historic area dotted with amazing street art and murals. There are several excellent restaurants just a few steps away. Breakfast is served at few blocks away at Maira’s Kitchen, which is sweet little place, with a kind owner and great food. Aside from the location, however, there were aspects to our stay that made us wish we had chosen a different hotel. Perhaps it was the disconnect between the hyperbole of the hotel website and the reality of our experience. Our room was quite dark and the only seating provided was one wooden straight back chair. No arm chairs or couches as seen on the hotel web page. The bathroom was lovely except the window consisted of poorly fitted wooden shutters, with no screen or glass, which provided no barrier to mosquitos. We are not sure what a proprietary sleep system is but the bed and pillows were fine. There was a little fridge in the room and enough surfaces etc. to store our belongings. However, the most stressful issue of our stay was the bizarre fact that there apparently was only one key in existence for our room. It caused us considerable anxiety that we might lose it and it was also rather baffling as it appeared to be the usual plastic room key. Staff were friendly and pleasant, especially the ones that came to check on us during a power outage – and even brought us a candle which was most helpful.

Stayed here with my girlfriend in September 2023 for 5 nights. The hotel is located in the picturesque Kura Hulanda village in Otrobanda, just a few minutes walk from the Queen Emma bridge. The Good: Staff are very friendly and always attentive. Special mention to the barman (Disny?) who always had a smile on his face and greeting for us. The grounds are very well kept with a variety of trees and bushes for shade. The OK: Our room was quite small, and the main light was not working when we arrived (although this was fixed the next morning) The rooms, at least where we were, were in a communal space, with lots of people walking past. As there was no curtain for the window, only a thick blind, this had to be closed for privacy, meaning there was no natural light in the bedroom. Breakfast was at the nearby Bario hotel and was included in the cost of the room. The choice was pretty limited and revolved mainly around bread and cheese. Would like to have seen a few local options to choose from. On one of the days, our breakfast order went "missing" and we had to wait almost 45 minutes for it, despite people who arrived after us receiving their orders. The Not so Good: The room was supposed to be a King room with King bed, but in reality this was 2 single beds pushed together with a top deck mattress on top. This would not have been so bad, if there had been fitted sheets to hold them together. But without these, the beds kept moving apart. The hotel was advertised with a gym from July 2023, but in September this was still not completed. Check-out time is 11:00, which is early even compared to other hotels in the same area. All in all, a decent hotel, if a little expensive considering the room size and facilities. Nice location with several restaurants and shops in close proximity.

Amazing oasis of tranquility a very short walk from the town, with amazing staff, choice of restaurants within the neighbourhood village that it is part of. Would thoroughly recommend.

This is a gorgeous little gem of a hotel, within the historic Kura Hulaanda 'village'. We loved being able to walk down a short path and into the square with a choice of a couple of restaurants. Had a delicious dinner here and also went to Gouvernier restaurant a short walk away, recommended! Kura hotel is like staying in a collection of colonial houses, with a small pool and bar in the middle with lots of luscious big plants and palms all around. Breakfast is taken at a nearby property around the corner and while the staff were lovely, the food was a bit hit and miss. We loved our stay at Kura Botanica (3-nights), the staff were so friendly and the rooms really spacious, with lovely walk-in showers and working air-con - a must in this super hot island. A very special place, would book again if re-visiting the island.

This is a lovely boutique hotel right in the middle of town. It was recently renovated and the rooms are very comfy, modern and silent air con. Usb chargers next to the bed a silent fridge, safe etc. The hotel is in a pedestrian street. Park in the Hulanda car park. Its an old renovated Dutch colonial village. The rest of the village is also pedestrianised and full of bars and restaurants and shops bit you cannot hear any noise in the hotel. The receptionist and bar tender are very friendly and helpful. It has a small pool too which is great .This is a great place to stay.
