Location is super convenient, breakfast is good. Room is clean and a little small though. No parking facility but not a problem to find cheap parking close with mobile app.

beautiful fixtures and ambience but we were looking forward to the bar and it closed an hour early...also our room's refrigerator didnt work.

The room was not clean. Half empty private water bottles
Saggy mattress broken toilet seat and a brick wall full of pidgeon dung for our view. Could have been nice in theory, but the room was nasty and expensive!

Really enjoyed this hotel and will be back! The staff members were kind and helpful when I called ahead of time to ask about parking and also during check-in. It’s right across the street from the History Theatre. Check-in and parking were easy. We parked in a public ramp next to the hotel. Plenty of spaces available and no issues parking larger vehicles. The hotel room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Since it is a historical building, there were some creaks and groans from the floors and pipes. Nothing major and it added to the charm. We didn’t hear any noise from other guests. The hotel is within walking distance of a variety of restaurants. The bar in the hotel was a great place to have a drink and visit with friends in the evening. Breakfast was really good. Lots of options including fresh scrambled eggs made right in the breakfast area. The hotel building had a lot of character, and it was a nice change from chain hotels.

We've stayed here a few times over the years and have just noticed a decline in service. One of the complimentary waters in our room had been opened and was half empty. The bar is typically "not serving" certain food items and the bar staff seems to need more training in basic service etiquette and making cocktails. One of our drinks was basically half full and empty after 5 sips. Also, our original server seemed unsure of herself in how to make cocktails and never came back to us, even though she saw our empty glasses. The bartender eventually came over. Towel bar on the bathroom was loose and falling off wall. Have seen it in other rooms weve had too. Make-up stain on bathroom counter and chips in paint of bathroom walls. Its a really cooland unique hotel we usually love, just seeing some thjngs slipping. Breakfast was good with several options.

This property is very unique since it was a nunnery. Breakfast is served in the chapel which has beautiful stained glass. You can imagine what it would have been like when there were nuns living there. The property has a great sense of humor with some of the prints in the room and especially the do not disturb sign for your door. I wont give it away. My second stay and not my last.

The room was nice, hotel was very cute loved the design and homage to the history of the building. But be aware parking is abysmal and you have to walk through a pretty precarious part of down town St Paul to get to the hotel entrance.
