Oceanfront 3 room suite with jetted tub was great! View of ocean excellent! Roof pool and hot tub and sauna was wonderful. Had a wonderful time. The front desk help could be better. Friendly staff but if you needed something you had to go downstairs to get it. Overall four stars rating

Property is dated and could use some renovations. The room didn’t have adequate tools in the kitchen so I had to use a knife to flip my pancakes. Bed was comfortable and amazing view. Couldn’t really enjoy the balcony the table had a hole in it. It was decent but probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Overall I had a great experience. The location is amazing and the staff is super friendly and attentive.
The property is a bit on the old side, but it does have an indoor heated pool, hot tub and Sauna.
They also have a massage therapist who was amazing.
Enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back

My sister and I decided to head to VA Beach for a quick weekend getaway from the cold New England winter. We chose Ocean Sands because it was affordable and had free parking with a balcony overlooking the beach. The hotel itself was mostly well kept but could use some updating, especially in the rooms. There are lots of shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The pizza place directly across the street "Bella Ginas" is a MUST! Recommend this location if you're looking for cheap and right on the beach. If you're looking for fancy & upscale this isn't for you. But if you're not incredibly picky, its perfect for a short stay.

Staff was very friendly and nice at check-in and throughout stay. But the property was so run down. Dead large cockroach in room. Inside of toilet stained. Tile in bathroom chipped and stained. Very noisy. Could hear family next door through wall with screaming children at all hours of night and morning.

Sleeper sofa is uncomfortable, even young kids complained. Kitchen was nicely stocked. Rooms need a renovation. Convenient location. Front desk had great customer service. Indoor pool was enjoyable. 10am check out is too early.

Property is pretty worn out and overdue for an overhaul. Lots of black mold came out of the jetted tub and the controls fell apart. Very loud. Could hear the neighbors clearly when they were talking at a normal voice
