The overall feeling is not bad, there is a bathtub, the bath is too comfortable, especially in the cold winter of Venice, it is happier to take a bath in one day! The biggest advantage is that it is too close to the train station, just across a bridge. There is still a certain distance to other attractions. I chose not to go there, and then Gondola and the water bus came back. It's just been a whole afternoon and I've finished visiting Venice!

The hotel is lovely but not in the best location for seeing the major sights (St. Marks, the Doge etc.). The staff was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. The one major surprise we had was despite the close proximity to the train station (less than a 10 minute walk) it is difficult if not impossible to walk with large pieces of luggage. We had just come off a cruise and had several large suitcases. We're in pretty good shape, but did want to attempt dragging the suitcases up and down the steep steps of the bridges that separate the hotel from the train station. We ended up having to hire one of the many ”porters” who are outside the train station to load our luggage on their carts and take them up and down the multiple steps. That was 30 euro we had not planned on spending. We had a room on the 4th floor that had a balcony and view of the canal. Our rate included breakfast which was an ample buffet with lots to choose from and great Americano coffee. Try the Apple Spritzer from the bar - it was perfect after a day of sightseeing in 90+ degree temperatures!

The actual stay was Hotel Olimpia, right next door. The hotel is an old-fashioned European hotel, the space is too small, and the room is extremely hot, and I don't know why. The sanitary facilities are decent, clean and tidy, and the overall is the domestic Samsung standard. Breakfast is relatively ok, hot food is more.

Close to the train station and bus stop. The facilities are old, the hot water is hot and cold, and a big spider is found. It is necessary to leave a key to the front desk when going out. Breakfast is average and there are few categories.

So I was slightly apprehensive after reading reviews. I so shouldn’t have been. Our room was spotless and replenished with towels and toiletries each day . I see people have complained about it being unmanned I personally didn’t mind it it kinda felt like a home from home . Our room had a wee bit that was kinda outdoors looked towards garden and I loved the wee quirky bit . We had gotten a Wowcher £99 holiday and upgraded it and was a bit taken aback on arrival after paying extra for a better hotel , but I soon realised that it’s just Italian style . Yeah it’s dated but it’s warm, welcoming and minutes from the train station and central canal . We found it was a perfect base also if you walk up a bit from hotel going away from central canal there’s a fantastic cicchetti bar so local feeling and the owner was lovely and in the other direction back towards train station on the same street as hotel theres an independent wine bar which had THE BEST LOCAL wines, never tasted anything like it Totally recommend 👌🏻

The price is exceptional, probably a good offer by chance with booking, which has made me appreciate it more than it is. The room was small and the bathroom was small, but it was clean, as others wrote, TV was not working because of the remote control and there was no reception, but there was no problem at the arrival or departure, with the code sent for message. The managers are at the Lance restaurant, 10 minutes walking away, and we're eating well and we're back the next day because it makes tourist menus with good prices and good food. The first we of Carnival, I was satisfied and if I found a offer like that I enjoyed, I would return. It's comfortable location, from the station or from the Rome square to a few minutes.
