Hotel Cipriani, A Belmond Hotel, Venice
4.7/553 Reviews
Our second visit to the Cipriani Hotel was nothing short of a dream come true. Just like our first stay, it effortlessly lived up to our cherished memories and lofty The view from our room, with the lagoon glistening under the early morning sun, was a sight to behold. It's a visual masterpiece that is etched in our minds forever. The rooms at Cipriani are nothing short of luxurious . However, what truly sets Cipriani apart is the exceptional service provided by the staff. The entire team, from the front desk to the housekeeping, exudes warmth, professionalism, and a genuine desire to make your stay memorable. Every request is met with enthusiasm and a willingness to go above and beyond. It's the little things, like remembering your name and preferences, that make you feel truly valued as a guest.
Hotel Giudecca Venezia

Breakfast is simple and it's the same every day, but basically everything you should have. A single breakfast costs 9 euros. Warm service, need to return the room key when going out. Check out is free of charge and no voucher is required. After checking out, I will enthusiastically instruct the toilets at the front desk. Hahaha, the standard of 1.5 Euros in Venice may make the hotel feel that tourists really need free toilets. The rooms on the second floor have very small windows, no slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush, European standard. Heating is extremely hot. The bed was more comfortable. Giudecca is the largest island closest to the main island of Venice. It is quite quiet. Accommodation is cheaper than the main island and it is easy to go to the main island by bus. The hotel is in a small alley, right next to the bridge in Figure 2. Most of the people staying are Europeans.

I would definitely recommend this ho(s)tel to young people. All the team was kind and helpful, although a very few of them spoke italian. The location is amazing, San Marco and its beautiful surroundings easy to reach by vaporetto number 2 - by the way.. if you are planning to spend at least 2-3 days it‘s worth buying a Venice card. Our bedroom was absolutely clean and the mattress comfortable. Still I would have appreciated one more towel pro person… by the high rate we paid.
Al Redentore di Venezia

Giudecca is the perfect location to explore Venice. The view of the city is exceptional both at day and nighttime. The neighbourhood has a very authentic atmosphere as it is home to many locals whom you can encounter in the shops (some excellent bakeries and a little supermarket just around the corner) and the numerous seafront restaurants. The apartment is perfect, beautifully decorated and functional. It really feels like home from the very start. The only negative thing to mention is the rather cumbersome procedure to open the main entry door as well as the flat itself on arrival. The openow app requested doesn't work properly and we had to call the hotel for help. We were promptly given a 4-digit code which allowed all of us to easily access the house and flat. An app might not even be needed if this were adopted as common practice. We would return to Al Redentore any time if back in Venice!
Hilton Molino Stucky Venice

Had a 2 night stay booked in the Hilton Stucky, in a Club room, Venice. Arrived at 11am as we just came off a cruise. Unable to check in till 3pm which was unfortunate. Got access to the executive lounge and to say I was disappointed is an understatement, looks like a corridor off the main lounge, as there was no solid divider the noise was too much, have used Hilton brand around the world and as a past Diamond member, was left disappointed with this one. After checking in at 3pm we went to the room, 3rd floor, take something to leave a trail as there are many corridors to navigate to get to the room. The suit was large and tidy, but overall it looked dated & tiered Plenty storage Bathroom was large with Bath & shower, problems with them draining. Also a lot of mould in shower Not that I watch a lot of Tv, but only 3 English channels, 2 news programs Take plenty of bug spray, as lots of bugs in the hotel and they bite a lot Good shuttle into St Marks, every 30mins, only takes 39 pax at a time, so beware at busy times. Never ate in the hotel, so cannot comment. Sky bar gives excellent views over Venice and bar staff very friendly. Does get busy
