An old hotel at a very good location included breakfast.
We reported the shower head broken the 1st night. But we found it was not replaced after we were out for a whole day. We stayed for 2 nights using the broken shower head!

Andrea was one of the best hosts I have meet in the forty years of travelling. We had an issue with a train strike in Italy and we were supposed to travel to Montorosso. He went beyond to help with the situation ringing the next hotel in Montorosso and organised an early train ride with some issues about check in time. We organised an earlier train and we kept on our schedule.
He greeted with a smile and was professional every day.
Accomodation was clean great location close to st luca train station. The bags were taken to the room and the was explained PowerPoints safe television remote.
I strongly recommend hotel Amadeus Venice.
Andrea will be a general manger one day.

location: about 13 mins walk from one of the train stations. close to restaurants and attractions.
breakfast: good selection.
cleanliness: room and bathroom were clean.

Sadly it was not very good - I booked double room for single use - but the hotel did not have that type of room - but I have been compensated by Trip.com - I have stayed there before - but previously the hotel staff were more amenable - this time it was not the case.
