Located in a lovely quieter part of Venice with lots of places to eat/bars etc. Convenient for the waterbus which is just outside for trips to Murano and Burano. Staff was friendly enough and helpful.
No lifts and no one to help you take your luggage up to your room. So bear that in mind if you have a big luggage. That’s was not a problem for us as we always travel light.
Breakfast was very basic and served in a small entrance area to the dining room. A bit of a squeeze to get coffee and food, very busy.
We stayed in mid October and the room was still very hot. The air conditioning didn’t work very well but it was bearable but I can imagine it would be very hot in the summer. Also if you open the window, lots more mosquitoes in Venice than in the jungle of Borneo! So bring your insect repellent. I didn’t so I was covered in bites.
Reasonably priced so okay for a short trip. My 4th time in Venice, it’s always magical, it makes up the everything!
