Pre Xmas break at the lovely Elmdene The breakfast here are the best we have ever had ,the whole place is immaculate we keep coming back as we are so well looked after ,beds are so comfy and gorgeous linen , plenty free parking for all guests , can't wait to come back .

Just arrived home after a wonderful weekend break with family and friends. Kim & Trevor are fabulous hosts and nothing was too much trouble. I stayed in room 5 as a solo, the room was spotless with everything you could wish for, better than any big 5 star hotel. The little touches of fresh, homemade scones after a day sightseeing were delicious. The breakfast is freshly made to order with so much choice. We are already planning our next stay at the Elmdene…Thank you Kim & Trevor for a wonderful stay at your lovely hotel

Stayed at my favourite place in Torquay for my early birthday celebrations. We always stay at The Elmdene but this weekend was the best ever. Kim and Trev are the best hosts in every way. The accomodation perfect as ever and the sun shone all weekend long. Made special memories with special family and friends. The Elmdene would be the perfect place for couples to hire out all 7 rooms for an exclusive break to celebrate any occasion. Dont miss out on this special place.

Just arrived back from a long weekend at The Elmdene Hotel.It’s somewhere I’d wanted to visit for a long time after seeing all the five star reviews and it certainly didn’t disappoint. From the moment we arrived and was shown to our beautiful room (room 1 ) it was obvious that no detail had been missed and everything was of a very high standard. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and top quality ingredients. Kim and Trev are amazing hosts and nothing at all is too much trouble them. It’s a short walk to the sea front and having on site parking is the icing on the cake. Thank you Kim and Trev for an absolutely wonderful weekend, we are already planning our next visit. 😄

Had a fantastic weekend break here. Trevor and his lovely wife were superb hosts, made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Room was immaculate and very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was superb with lots of choice. The Elmdene was perfectly situated for easy walks to the beachfront and Marina. Would highly recommend, will certainly return at the next opportunity!! We have just stayed at the Elmdean for the very first time. Having stayed at some of the very best hotels in the world including the Flame towers in Baku and the Burj Al Arab in Dubai I was a bit sceptical about all of the five star reviews. How wrong can you be! We have had one of the best weekends ever! Kim and Trevor couldn't do enough for us! The room was immaculate, roomy and the bed was so comfortable I am going to get an identical mattress for my home! It was such an intimate, personal experience it's really blown me away! I can't thank you enough!! We will be seeing you soon!!

We always go to Torquay and only ever go to the Elmdene ,we get looked after so well . This was a last-minute break and we had the last room 4, it's the only room we haven't been in before and it was lovely as usual, the shower was fabulous ,room was spotlessly clean and beautiful linen comfy bed you don't want to get out of and first class award winning breakfast great location and great hosts Trev and Kim . We love the fact they have on site parking , thank you see you in July .

Fantastic stay at The Elmdene . Trevor and Kim were excellent hosts & made us feel very welcome . The room was beautiful & very comfortable & clean with extra touches like chocolates & bubbles for the bath . The bathroom had a roll top bath which was great for a bubbly soak . Best breakfast ever - wonderful fry up ! Thank Trevor & Kim .

We stayed for a night as we visited a few attractions in the area. We easily walked to the seafront for some fish and chips. Trev and Kim were incredibly welcoming. There is clearly lots of thought and detail given to everything, also a brilliant breakfast. Excellent value overall and I would highly recommend as a place to stay if visiting Torquay or the surrounding area.
