Hotels with Wi-Fi in Tianjin

I'm giving this 5 stars because this very budget, very small room was everything I needed for a short 4 night solo stay, right by the Hai He (river) in downtown Tianjin. The service was straightforward and professional and even though my room was very inexpensive, I was treated well by everyone. The location is perfect for Tianjin tourism, very close to the lovely Italian section with its many super places to eat, and a short walk to the main train station, Century clock and many of the river's best views.Large malls and lots more shopping and sightseeing is across the river but the nearest bridge is very close, and the shopping and so on available as soon as you're ACROSS. It's an older hotel, and that shows, but the price is commensurate with that, so no complaint for me: everything still works well and the bed (good for one, not two) was very comfortable. Plus, even though it's small, the desk was useful and had good power sources, very close. And, unlike many budget rooms, this one has a window, and a good view. I've stayed here a few times before, and I will happily stay here again.

The manager is very considerate. Our check- out time is supposed to be at 12noon. Our flight is at 6:00PM. She lets us stay until 3PM, no extra charge🥰 She even helped us book a taxi going to the airport. Their staff is very approachable and they are willing to make extra effort for all your requests and questions. Highly recommended ❤️

Excellent customer service as soon as you walk in, English speaking and friendly. The room was very nice and came with a bathtub with a shower head and tap. The buffet wasn't great, but it wasn't bad, some decent choices, but more Chinese than Western food if any. The hotel is a few minutes from Xiaobailou Subway Station and it's pretty central for downtown travel - restaurants, the scenic areas etc. Overall, a great experience, place and people. Highly recommend

I would like to mention the receptionist 王亚南 who help us ordered some food during our 1 night stay as we arrived quite late at around 10pm. We do not have the ** app as we are not local. If not for her, we will go hungry the whole night. Thank you very much. 👍👍👍

An exceptional stay, one of the best in China in recent memory. Very impressed with the politeness of staff, such as greetings from waiters during breakfast. Hotel is a cutural gem and had no idea it has such a rich history. Quirky and fun, highly recommended. Breakfast was excellent.

Our hotel stay was absolutely amazing!! The front desk helped us with everything that we needed, they were also friendly. It was very easy to communicate with them. The rooms were very clean and everything was perfect. The breakfast was delicious, very much! This was definitely one of our favorite trips.

Great location, near subway, shops and restaurants. Hotel is close to needing a refurbishment, some areas a bit faded but overall comfortable and clean. Breakfast is currently being delivered to the rooms as restaurant is closed. The breakfast we had was quite good but no choice involved. Would stay here again.

The location was great, very walkable from the Tianjin train station. Easy walking access to the city, river, and other attractions. The view out my window was a wall but over the hotel was great!

St Regis lived up to it's reputation for service that goes above and beyond.....we had a problem upon arrival -:the fridge was missing. abd the spa wasn't working. This was disappointing as it was one of tbe reasons we had booked that hotel. Not only did they rectify the fridge within an hour/( minutes?), they also sent up a lovely tray with local treats and they offered us breakfast on the house. We could n't get the spa experience, but felt the manager, Frank, did his very best to make our visit special, and we were so appreciative. We would definitely book again, but know to check a few things beforehand in case the website is not up to date. At any rate, StRegis stands by its service and the manager was excellent. Kudos to Frank Wang!

But considering the not-so-expensive price, compared with high-end five-star hotels such as Four Seasons, St. Regis or Ritz, it has a better price-performance ratio. The view from the room is very good, you can look across Tianjin, and the height is enough. Hygiene: The overall is clean and tidy, but when I first entered the room, there was a hair on the bed. It's not that serious, but it's worth it. Facilities: The room area is large enough, and the wet and dry separation is done well. The facilities in the room are about 70% new, and the wooden decoration is slightly peeled off. When we checked in, the drain of the bathtub was damaged and could not be closed and needed major repairs. At that time, I wanted to take a bath again, but the waiter finally solved it with a bathtub cover. The toiletries are self-operated, non-branded, and the fragrance of the shower gel is not very good, and it will be a bit dry after washing. Environment: The external environment is close to the business district, with many shopping malls, a wide range of takeaways, authentic Tianjin snacks and KFC. Takeaway is convenient. In terms of the environment in the hotel, there is almost no executive lounge. When we checked in, it was after noon, because the room was not ready, we proposed to go to the lounge or the executive lounge to rest, but there might be a wedding banquet in the hotel at that time, the lounge was full of chattering people, and there was no executive lounge. In the end, I only took two bottles of Nongfu Spring and was forced to go out and wait for the room to be ready. It may be located in a commercial building, and its lower floors are rented out for hotpot dining, as well as a swimming pool and spa open to the public. Residential guests and outsiders are not well distinguished, and the elevators are mixed. If a high-level guest swipes the room card and presses the floor, other people can press the floor of other rooms at will, which poses a certain security risk. Service: There is no problem with the service attitude of the waiter. Speak politely and politely. We asked the customer service to give suggestions for Tianjin snacks on WeChat, and there were still positive responses. However, we need to strengthen the consideration of customers. For example, if the room is not good, we can actively arrange for guests to sit and rest in the coffee shop. After all, we just got off the train and are hungry. The room facilities should be checked frequently. Don’t wait until the customer is ready to wash and go to bed at night, and the bathtub is broken. In the end, the problem was solved, but the means to appease the guests must be prepared. Like other five-star hotels, when encountering room problems and causing inconvenience to guests, they will propose to change rooms or use methods such as giving small desserts. Clearly this hotel needs more work. If you want to write the welcome card by hand, please be careful 😂, it is obvious that the name is only painted out, and one card can be used multiple times. Such a welcome card can only have the opposite effect 😂, it is not as good as a printed one or not sent. It’s better to use fresher fruit for welcome fruit, so that customers can help you promote it, right?
