This is one of the better hotels I have stayed in in Tbilisi, the rooms are clean, the facilities are well equipped, and the favorite is the coffee machine! The customer service came to clean it every day. The reception staff Archil and Tamer, worked very warmly, recommended many interesting places for me, and also upgraded me to a room with a better view for free

It’s really nice hotel, location is perfect
Nice spa and swimming pool however services is really bad, very very slow, we went to sky bar which is on 36th floor, sat down for menu and after waiting 30min nobody came to serve us even thou bar was pretty much empty, they should pay more attention to customers, service in pretty bad there
Everything else was good
Tbilisi Philharmonic by Mercure Hotel sits in the building of the former Institute of History and Ethnography, erected between 1929 and 1930 and absorbing a variety of stylistic features of disparate eras. The Tbilisi Concert Hall (sometimes called Philharmonic Hall) is located just opposite the street, and the city's main Shota Rustaveli Avenue with charming cafes, restaurants, and eclectic shops, is within a few minutes' walk.

Really outstanding value for money as this hotel is close to Rustaveli with a number of buses going to and from Freedom square as well as the old town. It’s also convenient for Avlobari where many day trips departs from. The rooms are excellent ! Clean, spacious and well appointed. There are a lot of flights arriving into Tbilisi in the early mornings, do note that you can enter a 00:00-06:00 check in option so that you can have a snooze as soon as you get in from the airport.
Ii can’t really complain about this property, central, convenient and lots of shops close by. This is not down in the old town so the price is a bonus for what it is.

We checked into the hotel at night, and in the morning we were pleasantly surprised by what we saw. A very stylish room, high ceilings, an exit to the terrace in the style of Georgian courtyards. Breakfast also surprised us, an abundance of everything, for every taste. The young waiters at breakfast smiled and tried to help with the choice of dishes. Very pleasant hospitality. The location is such that everything is within walking distance. We recommend the hotel to those who value cleanliness, hospitality and good food. From the wishes for the hotel, perhaps, it would be possible to remove souvenirs and wine from the table in the room.

The room is nice, the service attitude of the bartender downstairs is also very good, the food in the restaurant is also delicious, but the laundry service is too expensive.

I happened to pass by and the hotel looked good, so I canceled my original reservation and stayed there. The breakfast is very good and the restaurant interior is luxurious.
The room was in good condition, but there was a bit of noise because it was close to the road. I went because they said the swimming pool was open until 12 o'clock.
I was a little taken aback when I heard that it would finish at 11:30 while I was using it. Other than that, everything was satisfactory.

The room was good, but the service was poor. There were a bunch of people standing in the lobby on the first floor, and they didn't understand anything when I asked them. The bank money exchange service in the hotel requires the father's name. I don't know why. There are money changers everywhere on the street, no questions asked.
Someone was having a party on the first floor of the hotel on Sunday night. I lived on the fourth floor. It was so noisy that it didn't end until one o'clock in the morning.
The location is pretty good, next to freedom square and the old city
The restaurant on the first floor is expensive and average
Overall the price/performance ratio is not high.
ibis Styles Tbilisi Center is perfectly located in the heart of Tbilisi, steps away from both - historical landmarks and modern attractions. The hotel's vibrant design blends contemporary style with Georgian cultural heritage, reflecting the bold colors and textures of the country's landscapes and folk art. Its centerpiece, a whimsical sheep art installation crafted from glowing lamps, sits in an amphitheater-style lobby inspired by Georgia's mountainous terrain, setting the stage for a memorable stay.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel for one night, i wish i could make it longer but i had other arrangements
The staff are very friendly, Giorgi who checked us in, and Olga the manager who helped us with one issue.
Also all other staff who helped us during our short stay with taxis and locations.
Rooms are bit small so if you are a family with kids you should consider booking a suite which is affordable.
Breakfast is reasonable and rich with local food.
The lobby is cosy and nice, there’s a small playing area for kids, also hot drinks and water are available for free at the lobby.
Would definitely stay there again if i go back another time to Tbilisi.

Excellent chain hotel, comfortable bed, clean, everything in the room - iron, ironing board, hair dryer, refrigerator, electric kettle. It would be nice to add a shoehorn in the room. Breakfast is delicious, there is a coffee machine. Downstairs there is a bar and a cozy hall, a room for communication. Friendly staff, everyone is smiling. We liked everything! If we come again, then here. Inadequate people come to breakfast, who do not take off their outerwear and in street clothes shake their dirty sleeves, scooping food into plates. I have not seen this anywhere, it is simply disgusting and unhygienic. This is the only minus, but this is not a question for the hotel, but for the lack of culture of some guests. Near the hotel there is a stop for bus 337 to the airport and the Avlabari metro station.

KKimwillruleShota Rustavalli Boutique Hotel, Tbilisi, Georgia: The most luxe of our stay in our whirlwind, super-tiring travels through Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia, we were looking forward to well-deserved pampering here and daily warm bath tub soaks. I’m one for authentic reviews so here goes. The start of our stay was terrible. Water was cut off in this part of town - mind you, we were next to the Parliament of Georgia, how dare they. So there was no water for the day. If you have just arrived, smelling far from English Gardens and sweaty, this is the end of your world. We were given mammoth water bottles for wipe downs. Water was up the next day. It isn’t the hotel’s fault, really. However, there were more shortcomings. We had full-day trips out of city and were too exhausted to complain. Our door didn’t open or close easily, like there was a misalignment. Room smells like sewage in the evening. Shower gel ran out and housekeeping didn’t top up. This was mortifying as we had an early day trip out and housekeeping didn’t start till 7.30 am as I was informed via Whatsapp, but reception said 9 am. AC is always parked at room temperature, sometimes warm. Pool, gym and sauna are out too and unannounced on site. I’m listing the litany of crimes so management can sort this out as the poor staff get the lambasting. Gocha was very sweet and explained as much as he could with the water cut-off. Ana was our thumbs-up favorite with 360-service recovery. She arranged for a birthday cake for my son. Also a complimentary bubbly breakfast. Also so kindly extended our check out time (although there was a power cut for a good hour, we were nonetheless grateful). The great merits here are the location – this is smack right in the city, we even stood next to the protestors at Parliament of Georgia. Restaurants, bars, cafes, shopping, museums are all around, within a short walk. There’s 10% discount on dining and free Georgian wine (you’ll be drinking it like water in Georgia). It did all end on a very sweet note – thank you Ana. #eatstylishtravelstylish
RRobertIf you want a taste of Georgia, this hotel may be just the place for you.
It’s located in an atmospheric old residential neighbourhood of twisty streets and steep climbs. If you know cities like Hong Kong, Istanbul or Belgrade, you’ll be familiar with this. You can walk it easily from the Central Railway Station. Otherwise the 368 bus will bring you most of the way.
The hotel is pleasantly decorated and has a large verandah with a nice view over the city for breakfast or an evening drink. In season, they have a mangal (a traditional barbecue) and live music in the evenings.
The room was clean and comfortable. It had everything I would expect including a small fridge and TV. A kettle, tea and coffee would also be nice.
For me the highlight was breakfast. It's a buffet of homely sweet and savoury Georgian dishes made freshly by the owner, including eggs, salads and traditional small, thick pancakes with sour cream.
If you’re looking for traditional hotel comforts you’ll find them here, with warmth and an authentic local twist.
GGuest UserVery nice hotel with nice and helpful staff working there. Both reception, restaurant and housekeeping.
Very nice location just few minutes down the hill to the old town.
Really nice, not boring, choices for breakfast with some traditional kartvelian cuisine choices, wonderful restaurant view to the city. Just a bit anoying that some guests come to eat breakfast with sweaty pijamas just out of bed (but that is their lack of culture nothing to do with the hotel).
Rooms are spaceous with all the amenities needed for the stay. Rooms with city views are stunning, so do not hesitate to pay extra few euros for that, it is really worth it to experience amazing sunrise or beautiful city lights at night.
The hotel is calm and beds are very comfortable.
The hotel and rooms are very clean.
Definatelly would consider to stay there again. Highly recommended.
Thank you for a nice experience!
NNoppasornLast night I landed late and checked in at 1.00am. When I arrived at the hotel, a tall European male staff asked me “who are you” and was very unfriendly. I didn’t want to cause any trouble so I talked to him nicely. I came with my boyfriend and my bag. Anyone who saw me would know that I was a tourist. After entering the hotel, he checked me in for more than 40 minutes and couldn’t find my booking. He behaved very badly throughout the check-in process and even charged me even though I had already paid on the Tip.com app. in the morning , at 8.55am in the morning, he opened my bedroom. It was a terrible day in Georgia. He made me feel suspicious and unsafe here. Please let the hotel handle this matter with this person. Because this man’s behavior is very unsafe for tourists. Or is it because he sees me as Asian, so he bullies me?
Your hotel is a very good hotel. I don't think your hotel should be ruined by people behaving in such an unsafe way towards customers.
The first night I was hoping to relax and start my Christmas break, but the first time I encountered something bad like this. I am very disappointed and sad.
GGuest UserThis place deserves a lot of credit for doing things a bit differently. The design features and floor plan are quite special. We loved some of the details like the record player and projector with streaming access. But once you look closer it is a little rough around the edges for the price that we paid.
Service was also very hit and miss. When we arrived, no one greeted us, instead staff was talking to each other and looked confused when we said we wanted to check-in. In Tbilisi, we had no problem with communicating in English, but the staff here had trouble communicating with us several times. In general, they were friendly though and took time to show us the room.
When we ordered a drink through the room service from the bar downstairs, it came in a flimsy plastic cup that was only have full.
Also be aware, that the window is towards the courtyard where there is a restaurant and bar that closes late and draws some pretty noisy crowds.
The location is great, though, and we did enjoy our stay here. With a little more attention to detail, this would be a great place!
ААртёмIn August 2024, we had a great time at this hotel!
Firstly, the staff is friendly and helpful! There are Russian-speaking staff at the hotel and in the restaurant at the hotel.
Secondly, the room is clean and cozy! Beautiful interior, lots of details, it's a joy to the eye!
Thirdly, the restaurant - we only had breakfast there - delicious! Once for dinner we went to the sushi bar, it was also delicious and the interior was interesting🌿
Thank you!
Would I return to this hotel? Yes!
GGuest UserGreat experience in this cozy and wonderful hotel. We liked everything starting from interesting building of the hotel itself, spacious room and very helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast with live piano music or on the sunny terrace.
We were very happy choosing this hotel, great location near by with bar/restaurants street as well as park zone and just 10 mins walking distance to Liberty square
MMohamad Mehyouthe hotel was good and clean , great location , but they need to have more smiley faces and hospitality .As i found lately that its not their own issue rather than the majority of Georgian Community issue , they have a lack of smile and mostly sulky i don't know why ?you can always sense the frustration in their faces and expressions ,and un friendly most of them don't understand any other language beside Georgian and Russian, especially the taxi drivers whom you cannot communicate with them even they can't read a google map ? i had several bad experiences in Georgia and will never repeat it , i don't recommend visiting Georgia if you are looking for entertainment , it was total disappointment and a waist of money . Watch it , there is lots of scams especially in the nightlife where it happened that i was looking for a restaurant to dine in and a lady came to me asking me if i'm looking for a nice restaurant , she took me to a club called crazy monkey where it turned to be a strip club which it was not in my intentions ? i went in and looked around and didn't like it at all and wanted to leave and the body guard stood by the door blocking me from going out and said that i have to pay 243 GEL almost 88 $ ?! i said for what i didn't even sit , he said that the minute you step in you have to pay a minimum charge which is the 243 GEL ? i had to pay because i didn't want to make troubles and left , also watch the taxi drivers i took once a taxi for trip less than 5 minutes and he asked for 40 GEL almost 15 $ ??? it is a total scam , then i asked the hotel about it they said that you should always negotiate the rate with the driver before your ride ???? since the taxis are not equipped with mile counters ? so be aware .
in a nutshell Great country and very nice views ,but needs a lot to improve especially in hospitality and Georgian Ministry of tourism needs to be more active and to be equipped with hotline number to report scams and claims ,i do not recommend visiting Georgia for tourism . they still need more efforts to improve .
MMalisaStayed here for 1 night before our flight return and it was a nice hotel with a green garden area around the property. Hotel staff seemed very busy with their own conversations among themselves in the restaurants when we tried to order coffee. The female staff at the reception was not able to recommend any areas nearby however during our check-out we were very pleased with the male staff who was able to recommend me and my friend a local restaurant nearby and more places in the city near by.
AAminathBreakfast could do better but other than that and the cleaning ladies need to be a bit quite when they are cleaning the rooms specially in the morning. They need to do some renovations as well.
Other than that all good. I requested to extend for two nights very last minute but they agreed without hesitation.
Rooms are cleaned well.
