It is inexcellent location6, excellent and good quality food treatment. Very good experience. We offer you free transport service to the train or bus station. We stayed here for a 2 nights on a Distant Journey (DJ) tour of Japan. Arrived around 5pm by coach from Mt Fuji area. Check in was well organised but it was after 6pm before our luggage arrived in our room on 8th floor. We were meant to meet our TM and guide between 7 and 7.30 for advice on where to have dinner. Map in hand we turned right outside hotel and proceeded into town. Recommended restaurants were very difficult to find. Any we did find, including those not mentioned, were either fully reserved or full or, as time passed towards 8pm, were closing. We headed back to the hotel to find buffet option was £45 or set Japanese meal ¥8,300 (£53). Many of us went to a 711 across the road from hotel and bought ready meals, which they heated for us in microwave, beer or wine and we retreated to our rooms. The street lighting is poor so navigation from a map was difficult. Breakfast was like school dinners but passable. Bar closes at 7pm!!! If you are reading this and are on a JD tour get to town early to stand a chance of eating out. A group did find a restaurant very close by hotel before the bridge on opposite side of road to 711 but the name unrecognisable as in Japanese, photo attached.

The hotel is 20 minutes drive from Takayama Station. You can ask Trip.com customer service to contact the hotel through the agent to pick you up at Takayama Station in advance, but there is a shuttle bus every hour in the afternoon, the latest bus is 1630, and you need to go to the hotel later. In fact, it is the closest to the moth-Izhigong Station. There is a 4.1km drive for five minutes. We missed the bus in front. JR was also delayed. When we arrived at the Yizhigong, it was past 7 pm. There was no one in the station. No one, just call the hotel and ask them to pick them up. The attitude is very good and very warm. The staff has no problem communicating in simple English. Although it is a lot late, we have prepared dinner for us. The room is very large and looks quite new. The heating equipment is in place. Each room has reserved an hour of private soup at night. Other periods are separated from men and women. The kaiseki cuisine for dinner was not bad, and the breakfast felt average but full. I really like the stove in the lobby. It is really comfortable to sit for a while after soaking in the soup.

The atmosphere of the inn was very good, but to get to the room, I had to change elevators twice, walk a long corridor, and finally take the stairs to the upper floor. It is necessary to walk in the opposite direction each time to go to the public bath and to eat. It is difficult for the elderly and those with weak legs. We used the early bird reservation and national travel support to stay cheaper than usual, so I wondered if it was the furthest room (laughs). I couldn't take a long bath slowly, but the person in charge was just checking the temperature, so when I asked, the open-air bath was 42.9 degrees. A small child with a family shouted ”hot, hot” and left early. After all, I only entered the large public bath once, and after that, I adjusted the temperature of the bath in the room. One more thing, all three hair dryers in the public bath did not work even when I pressed the button, so I used the one in the room. When I asked my wife, she said, ``I couldn't use it at first, but someone else told me to use it by pressing the other switch at the back.'' I couldn't use it, maybe it's my fault, I wanted you to write a manual (sorry if I overlooked it)

A very good place and a good value but in need of updating and refurbishment. Liked · Great staff who could not do enough for you. The location is perfect. Food for dinner was delicious, but the service was very rushed and there were several miscommunications with the staff. breakfast was good but not great. Lots of amenities in the room. The lobby. The holiday decorations and the outside terrace were lovely. Super clean. The free coffee, tea, soft drinks, and raman in the lobby were a wonderful touch. Location is perfect and veiw from the room was wonderful. Disliked · Decor was very dated in the room and somewhat depressing. Toilet paper and towels were both terrible; they were cheap and awful. Such a shame for such a nice place to cut corners on a minor but important detail. Little or no storage in the room except for some hangers.
