We stayed here for 4 nights. Before commenting on the hotel, we wanted to share some of our own experiences with those who travelled to this hotel on their own. We arrived at the airport at about 5pm and went to the Flying Dog Bus counter as suggested by the Forum members. Based on the information we found, the bus was supposed to take us to the hotel or close enough to the hotel. But instead, we were told they would not take us to the hotel door until after six o'clock. Before 6 o'clock, they will only put guests on the designated bus route and then take a taxi to the location they are going to. In short, if you arrive at the airport before 5:30, then it is recommended to take the Guoguang bus. After the next time at the terminal (Taipei Central Station), take the MRT to Ximending. Pros: -The location is good. It takes only a few minutes to walk to the nearest MRT Ximending Station. -All rooms have free Internet access. Try using the wireless connection. If you don't have a network cable yourself, you can borrow one from the front desk. - Basic supplies: hairdryer, kettle, free bottled water and tea - very clean Cons - hotel entrance hidden in a narrow alley and easy to miss. Just look for the World Express pastry shop on the main road. There are huge neon lights on the top side of the hotel, which is useful when looking for it from a distance. - Shower and bathtub are integrated. As a business hotel, we expect them to install a shower curtain, but maybe they think it will cost too much. So you can imagine the mess after each shower. -No useful maps available. Those maps that could be used only marked the subway line, and there was no address information or anything like that. - the lighting in the room was poor. It was too dark for ladies who wanted to make up. -Close to a government building, so if you want to walk around naked in the room, it is recommended to close the curtains. -The front desk clerk doesn't seem to know much about the attractions. -Breakfast coupons are issued at the front desk every morning, dining at the fast food restaurant on the main road, just at the exit of the narrow alley. There are about four or five packages to choose from, but the two must be the same (for both of us)! That is so stupid! The food is not good either.

I chose the hotel due to its location. It is across the road from the museum, has a convenience store close by, plenty of food places, and a Metro station is just 200m away with the main railway station just 400m away. My room had wifi/internet and a bar fridge. I stayed here twice and was mostly satisfied. Better rooms are on the front of the building. The back rooms have no view and sound carries between them via a light well. English speaking by staff is mixed. They do have a left luggage facility if you arrive early or are departing late. Not all staff understand such requests.

It is very near to Taipei Train Station where can be reached directly by Airport MTR. As we have booked a room of 20 meter square on 3rd or 4th floor, we were provided by a smaller room on 2nd floor. There is not enough space for us to open 2 luggages at the same time. The room facilities are not good for us. For example, hangers are provided but no places for us to use them. We are noticed that the hotel has free coffee provided, but it does not have. The hotel has a rule that they do not have room cleaning service every day. So when having used or almost used the only one toilet paper provided, you need to ask them to get a new one even in the midnight. As for the room cleaning, they only gave us the new bath towels. They had taken away the face towels!

The location is very convenient, the service attitude is very good, there is also a 24-hour reception, the environment is comfortable, and there is coffee and milk tea in the lobby, which can be self-made at any time. Remember to go to the line to draw a lottery when you check in

My husband and I had a fabulous stay at Via Hotel Taipei Station. The hotel is really conveniently located, and we used it as a base to walk to lots of the main sites and the ximending area. The room was spotlessly clean, and comes with a little neck massager as part of the room. They have lots of free snacks available 24/7, and as others have written, they have a soft-serve ice cream machine available as well. We also enjoyed the 2 big massage chairs in the basement game room area. We also appreciated the pocket wifi that was available for rental from the front desk at a very reasonable rate. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to return in the future.

From the epidemic prevention taxi to the hotel, there was a waiter waiting at the door, and after paying the car, he patiently explained to me the epidemic prevention regulations in the hotel, and handed over the room key and guided the path upstairs. After opening the door, I really feel comfortable returning home. The whole room is very clean, all the switches, phones, remote controls that will be touched by all hands, are covered with a transparent cover outside, and there is a sign to inform the passengers that the room has been sterilized before entering the room, which makes people feel at ease when they live in. All the daily necessities needed by passengers, whether placed on the table or on the table, are neatly arranged. Let me, a passenger, feel that I dare not act lightly when I step in. I want to be so clean and comfortable, how can I just dirty it? A sense of public morality that loves the country and the soil is not felt. The quick and real service of Kaifeng Store is what makes me most touched and impressed. I have been abroad for a long time, and this sincere service attitude has not been seen for a long time. Thank you staff for letting me be treated so warmly as soon as I enter the country. There is still a chance in the future, I will definitely come again and will try my best to help you promote it.

Very nice staff at front desk. The room was small and clean, a bit cold since there is no heathing in winter (so make sure to bring something warm). I really liked the toilet and bathroom area, very clean despite being a shared space, and enough toilets/showers so you never have to wait. Great location, very close to central station and commercial area. Recommended!
