The sound insulation is very poor. I said that I checked out at 11 o'clock at 10:30 the next day. I don't know that the check-out time is at 11 o'clock. I can quickly clean up and check out. Shouldn't this hotel with 0 service and 0 equipment be able to find 1,000? ! In short, it is directly blacklisted, unless you are going to sleep, it is strongly recommended to try another cheaper hotel. The only thing that can be recommended is that the hot water is very hot, and the TV is clear.

The Lin is located right next to a nice park and there are many restaurants across the street. There is also a mall right behind it for other food options. The breakfast buffet was delicious. There were many different types of cuisines to pick from and the food tasted great.

Booked through Ctrip's new user discount, the VIP king room is priced at 3061 per night on weekdays. The hotel is located on Taiwan Avenue, which is a traffic artery in Taichung City. It is very convenient. It is about 10 minutes' drive from Fengjia Tourist Night Market. The room is decorated in a classic style. The bed is moderately soft and hard, and I find it comfortable and easy to sleep in. The swimming pool saunas are open, and reservations are required before using the saunas. The breakfast menu is rich, including Taichung's special fried noodles with Dongquan chili sauce. The freshly squeezed juice is delicious. My boyfriend who lives with me also likes the breakfast dishes. Evergreen Laurel Hotel Taichung is considered a five-star hotel with a high CP value in Taiwan. Although the building and equipment have a sense of age, they feel that they have been carefully maintained. I will visit again next time I come to Taichung!

Location is very very good, but bed and pillows are the worst ever! I could not sleep because the mattress springs were literally in my back, pillow very bad. Also, the check in until really really late, this means, for example, that in the dorm I was, at midnight we were 3, and at 4 AM we were 7! 4 people arrived during the night and even if they've been very respectful, still 4 people make some noise. Bed curtains need to be changed, I had the chill from the a/c direct on me. Receptionists are very very helpful, kind and speak a good English!

It is a good hotel with good service. Walking distance to yi zhong street but it is a 15 mins walk. Near to train and bus station but the hotel is not in the central area of taichung. Across the hotel is Taichung Park. Room wise is good enough with basic items. Additional item can be collected from the reception at level 1

Good location: It is located next to Fengyuan Railway Station. The whole station is very new. You can go to various restaurants, night markets and department stores in front of the station through the station. Room: The bedding and pillows are clean, comfortable and breathable. restroom: It is clean, has strong water power, and is comfortable. The drainage holes in the floor can be strengthened, otherwise it will still get wet easily and not drain well even if the shower curtain is drawn. There is also its own parking lot for parking. Overall, the price and quality are highly recommended.

Great hotel, great price, great service, great location. A few minutes walk from Taichung Station (not to be confused with the high speed railway station) and directly in front of one of the main intercity bus stops (ticket office next door) so easy to take bus to Taipei. Also intracity buses depart from here, so easy to get almost anywhere. Staff are friendly, and the hotel is spotless. Convenience store and beef noodle soup next door too. There are several other hotel options nearby for similar prices, but overall this one ticks all the boxes.

Hotel opened ~12mo ago, entire building is new. Whatever growing pains it had, the Le Meridien Taichung has figured most of them out. This brand can be hit/miss depending on city, but the Le Meridien Taichung is a great property. Well-appointed rooms are huge (60 sq m+), even the walk-in shower is huge. Lots of electrical outlets/USB for charging devices. Wi-Fi access points work everywhere in the building. Great views of the Central/East Districts and Main Station, especially at night. Amazing price point for this level of hotel quality. Service is where Le Meridien Taichung shines. Exec Lounge team so helpful, special thanks to Angel, Lisa, Irin, Yang. Concierge helped us with check-in and restaurants (Billy, Wilber, Debbie). And Marriott app chat with Front Desk works great, responded within minutes. Parking in the underground garage (elevators run directly to room floors with your key) with in/out privileges is free for guests. Front Desk will add your license plate number, cameras at gates will read it. Oddly, the Marriott app shows daily fee TWD 2400 which is almost half the daily rate. (Obviously still ironing out some stuff.)

Location is very good, next to Taichung Railway Station. Opposite the hotel there’s a 24 hr eating place. Outside the hotel there’s a stall selling fan tuan (rice ball) every morning, it’s very nice and cheap. Walking distance to Taroko mall, Lalaport mall, Miyahara Dessert Store. The room is small but clean and modern. The bed is comfortable. They have a laundry room for guests, it’s free. Breakfast is simple but good. Since it’s near Taichung Railway Station, so you can take bus anywhere from the station nearby. Taking bus at Taichung can be slightly confusing, but overall still ok.

I booked this hotel as it stated that there are parking lots. When I came to check in, staff only said that there were not available and directed me to the near by parking where I have to pay fee. Staff who are at the counter check in were not so friendly, unlike the staff who are at the breakfast entrance and in front of the elevator area, they were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and we got the view where we can see the main train station.
