The whole process is also very wonderful. I would like to thank Lisa for her hard work in helping us arrange check-in. Not only did she help us upgrade to the courtyard waterscape with a great view, but she also gave us welcome fruits and desserts. Even though it was Lisa's day off during our stay, she still took good care of us. We make the whole check-in process very smooth. An excellent hotel is inseparable from the high-quality service of the staff. The staff of the entire hotel, whether it is restaurants, bars or guest rooms, are very friendly and kind. This is probably the feeling of being at home.

I chose to stay at Artyzen Suzhou this time because I had a good impression of Artyzen Macau, and I saw that the hotel just opened in 2023, so I wanted to experience it. The lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic on the day I checked in, and she even upgraded me to a suite. I quickly entered the room by swiping my card. The room is large and has a strong sense of design. The overall decoration style is simple and practical. Some details are very pleasant, such as the plush slippers provided, which are perfect for this season. However, maybe because of the large number of guests during the holidays, I felt that the entire room was not very clean. From the desktop to the floor, from the bathroom floor tiles to the floor drain in the shower area, it was not the hygienic environment that a hotel of this level should have. After looking at it a little bit, The comments resonated with me, and I hope Suzhou Artchen can improve its hardware and software services so that it can truly stay and stay new.

After checking in to the Xiangqu Twin Room booked in advance, the front desk upgraded me to a Superior Twin Room. The overall feeling was great! All details are in place, including complimentary tea and afternoon tea. When we first arrived at the hotel, it was very inconvenient that our mobile phones were out of battery and could not be turned on. When the luggage storage attendant in the lobby found out, he took out a spare charger and immediately solved the problem. He also took our luggage and led us to the designated room (I'm sorry that I didn't remember which one, thank you very much! ) The room is clean and tidy, there are complimentary sachets on the bedside table, fruits are delivered by the waiter in the evening, and there are guzheng and pipa performances in the lobby. Breakfast is a buffet with a full range of options, combining Chinese and Western styles, and the Soviet-style pastries are delicious! We have an appointment to visit Nanyuan. Xiao Guo led us to introduce the architecture, humanities, and history of Nanyuan in detail. It was very rewarding! The location of the hotel is very good. It is easy to get in and out. Shiquan Street is right out the door. It is very close to Master of the Nets Garden. The night view is beautiful when you walk in the backyard for dinner!

My initial stay didn’t start off great. The concierge saw me struggling with my luggage and didn’t bother to help (would rather listen to his music on his AirPods). Told the front desk (they could check CCTV to see he just sorta watched me). To make amends they sent up some fruit. The room was a good size and clean. The morning buffet is alright but better to get something outside of the hotel as the variety wasn’t too good. Overall a good stay and I would recommend. One downside for sure was the gym / pool. It’s hard to find and the service was terrible. People on their phones until I asked for their attention (just to check details) and they just kept going “Shenme?” Made no effort to help so bailed. It looked pretty filthy as well.

The hotel is well located in the heart of Gusu district. There are many busy streets around with clothing stores and restaurants. The hotel itself is large. The check in was pleasant, as was checking out. There are some English speaking staff if speaking Chinese is not possible. We stayed in the Premier Queen room, which was completely fine. Comfy bed, working appliances. The only issue was that the tap in the sink was leaking for our whole stay. We probably should have brought it up. The pool is nice, a 5th floor open deck area. Unfortunately, it is only open after 4:30pm. They have a pretty decent gym, as far as wanting to exercise while staying in a hotel goes anyway. Fair to say we would gladly stay again if we chose to go back to Suzhou.

I was bitten on my leg after an hour of rest at noon. I found blood on my leg when I went out in the afternoon. I don't know if it is a mosquito gas or my flesh skin is more sensitive. Extended another day, continuing from my previous review - see below. My happiest stay throughout my holiday in China, room is very clean and spacious, it is also voice automated (the one in my room wasn’t working but i’m not too concerned about it). Housekeepers clean the room everyday, even changing a new bedsheet/blanket cover (my food sauce caused unnoticeable stain on it but it was still changed!), staffs are helpful as well. There is a 24h family mart across the street and also a small food stall downstairs that opens till 12:30am if you’re looking for supper.

When I checked in at the hotel where I was running Suma, I asked if there was breakfast available. I needed to eat at around 5:30. The beautiful lady at the front desk gave me a breakfast coupon and said that they would open at 5:30 on Sundays for marathon runners. The Sunday breakfast was also very good, with porridge, buns, and noodles. After the race, I asked the front desk if I could check out later. The lady at the front desk readily agreed that it could be delayed until 15:30. The management of this hotel is very humane. I will stay here again next year.

Location is great and within walking distance to Ping Jiang Street and Shuang Ta food building. It's easy to get transportation via didi app to travel to various unesco sites such as Humble Administrator's Garden, Suzhou museum, Master of the Nets etc. Accommodation is great. Staff asked if we prefer the room facing the bustling street or the residential area which was serene with birds chirping in the mornings. Hotel breakfast was sufficient and mainly local fare. No laundry service but hotel has a laundry room which is great! Service staff team are attentive; the chambermaid, laundry room lady and reception were very polite and service oriented. I'll return to this hotel again!

I rarely write reviews. This time I stayed at Manxin Mansion in Suzhou. I was warmly welcomed by the guys at the front desk. Their service attitude was very good. They helped us carry our luggage and directed the driver to park the car. They were really very patient! They also gave us souvenirs! The location of the hotel is also excellent. It is just outside Pingjiang Road. Although there are many people during the holidays, the hotel is nearby, which is very convenient and there is no traffic jam! My family members who were traveling with me couldn't book a room, so they went to the Lamborghini Hotel. They came here and complained about the poor service there. In comparison, Manxin is really much better, and it's not far from other attractions. It's very convenient. I recommend coming to Suzhou. Traveling friends can make reservations!

The hotel is within walking distance of the subway which is only 10 minutes away from the main railway station so easy to get to if you are visiting Suzhou and convenient for getting around the city. Check in was smooth and fast and the lovely girl at reception spoke good English which is always helpful even though I speak some Chinese. The hotel decor is very cute and music themed, everything was very clean and new looking. I booked the Double Comfort room which was basic but still had some lovely touches.A very comfortable bed, hot shower, bottled water, tea and slippers which you might not expect in a value room. Possibly the cutest thing about the hotel were the little robots who delivered take out directly to your room door. The only down side is that the noise from other rooms and guests carries easily across the halls but that is not the hotel's fault, and it didn't really stop me sleeping. Check out was fast and I was given a small bottle of water when I left was a kind gesture. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Suzhou.Great value and service, and very foreigners friendly!
