I was here in October 2016 but I did not have Tripadvisor then. I was with my friend and we had a lovely stay! Such nice staff, and everyone was so nice to us and made suggestions with what we can do in the city center that day, the hotel manager always helped us with prices and gave us a map and explained a lot about the city. We were sitting with him some evenings and drank tea. And we did not feel uncomfortable at all any Second in the hotel, even as two young women in a hotel with mainly male staff. The first night we did sleep at the other house (there are 3 houses) which was not so nice, but they were fully booked and in the next morning we could even chose our room. It was beautiful and huge! It is not a classic hotel, but a huge house that was converted into a hotel. But I liked the concept, since it was a small hotel with ＞20 rooms and the staff knew all their guests. Breakfast was very good, every day we got a different Moroccan breakfast specialty. Free shuttle to the city center 4x a day, we always spend the morning and afternoon at the pool and went to the city centre for late afternoon and evening. The shuttle driver also helped us to get a taxi in the city center and told the taxi driver to make us a good price would stay there again!

Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Guest House Qodwa is a recently renovated guest house set in Marrakech, 16 km from Bahia Palace. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and free shuttle service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. The guest house offers a seating area with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a hair dryer, free toiletries and shower. Buffet and continental breakfast options with local specialities, pancakes and cheese are available every morning at the guest house. There is a coffee shop, bar and lounge. Sightseeing tours are available within easy reach. Guest House Qodwa has a sun terrace and an outdoor fireplace. Boucharouite Museum is 17 km from the accommodation, while The Orientalist Museum of Marrakech is 17 km from the property. The nearest airport is Marrakech-Menara Airport, 21 km from Guest House Qodwa.

Lovely would recommend. Cheap and cheerful. Don’t know why people are so negative about this place, I would stay here again. Clean, beds made everyday, clean towels, friendly staff. Located twenty minute walk from the square, and the souks. Off licence around the corner, which sells plenty of beer, wine and spirits. £11.00, for a bottle of wine and six beers. Highly recommended!!!

Very poor I would rate this 2 star resort and that too is being generous, firstly the bedding had old stains, no kettle in room, fridge did not work had to call reception 3 times for someone to eventually replace the fridge along with the air con also, food choice was not a lot and mainly Moroccan dishes would be nice to have some international food choices the restaurant was small which led to big queues which still people would push in, the tables were not cleaned properly, again for a 5 star would expected drinks to be served but you would again have to queue to get ur drinks and staff did not speak English the snack bar staff always seemed fed up with making drinks all day and the worst mojitos cocktails iv drank. The food was not the best either iv eaten into chicken that was undercooked, omelettes full of egg shells.The snack they serve between 5-6 in the very small cafeteria is ridiculous how everyone would swarm the place pushing and shoving to get a snack sometimes u would be left with nothing. The spa again for somewhere that considers its 5 star is very poor and below average. Only place you can sit and have drinks is outdoor the heat was too much wanted to sit indoors but they have no place unless you sit In reception. I think this resort is more catered for the locals than international people.

Hotel room was extremely dirty, I have noticed load of female hair, on bed and pillows, the bathroom was with load of hair too. Housekeeping did not clean the room properly and professionally. Terrible experience and minus 5 rating the hygiene for the room. The night, I could not sleep at all till early morning because of noise from some cars racing next to hotel during whole the night, Im very disappointed and confused because hotel reception did not take action to report this matter to police but car racing was with very load noise and I still can not understand is it hotel and touristic area or F1 racing. I won't recommend this hotel at all due to several problems, might hotel looks great online but in reality is very very very bad. I will never ever come back to it

Regarding the room, a mixed start to my stay and a first evening, being very manic and looking at cleanliness, my first room was very dusty and poorly insulated, the next day, the reception team told me about it. changed rooms, much less dust but not up to my expectations, I think the rooms need a little more maintenance and refreshing. Regarding the common areas, cleanliness is excellent and hydroalcoholic gel is available. As for the gym and the swimming pool, great I have nothing to say, very well maintained. The catering is correct too bad some of the hotel's restaurants are closed due to the Covid. The agents at the reception, catering, SPA and swimming pool are attentive and are very responsive. Too bad there is no possibility of transfer from the airport which is very nice when you land at 11:50 pm. Finally, the stay went well despite some improvements to be made and a sense of detail to be developed. Thank you for this stay.

This is our 8th visit to Aqua Fun Club, as a family of 7; 2 adults & 5 Children. We have been many other resorts around the world in-between our annual visit here, this is our favourite! From arriving to leaving each time, we couldn't have asked for better. ❤️ spotless rooms ❤️ fresh bedding daily ❤️ amazing waiters, special thanks to Mr Samir and Younes, who year on year ensures the food, service and atmosphere are amazing ❤️ none stop activities from the entertainment team, especially Momo,Memo & Ayo who are amazing in keeping the kids and us adults entertained and keep the competitive streak going ❤️ An on site shop, ran by the most welcoming and friendly man, Adul Malik. ❤️ the waterslides are amazing ( with even more being built resdy for 2025 season, the kids pools with slides on the pirate ship and the princess castle are great too. We come around April/May when the weather is around 28-34°C, in 8 visits, we have never had a bad experience or a bad moment. If you're looking for the luxury tourist experience, this isn't it. If you want to experience the authentic vibrancy of a bustling, exciting city from the very heart of the action - book this hotel. We absolutely loved our trip to Marrakech. We loved where the Riad was situated, right in the middle of a busy residential area. We learned to follow the maze of alleyways, through street after street of colourful market stalls, jostling with scooters (some carrying the whole family), donkeys, tok-toks, trucks, locals and tourists, all the way to the Square. The sights, sounds and smells of the city are an assault to the senses in the best way. Mountains of dates, veg, sticky pastries, Aladdin's lamps, crockery, spices and goat heads piled on tables, or even on rugs on the ground. A rhythmic boom of Moroccan drums, the wail of the snake-charmers' pipe and the regular call to prayer from the minarets mingle with the chatter of the crowds. The smells of incense burning, tagines cooking and the abundance of herbs and spices for sale make it a truly immersive experience. The local people were friendly, welcoming and keen to make a few dirham. Aouad and his team were helpful and gracious. Riad Nerja was charming. We really had the most memorable holiday and highly recommend staying here to any intrepid explorer.

We checked in to our deluxe room, and it was a horrible stay. First off, the deluxe room building is the furthest building away from the hotel, and by the time we get to our room, the view from our balcony is of a construction site and parking lot. Our room had a particularly strong vinegar smell to it, and we asked to move rooms. We were told that every deluxe room was sold out and we would be able to move rooms the next day. Next day comes around and we didn’t hear from the hotel. Every call to guest services took at least 3-5 minutes until someone answered or called back. We also came back to our hotel room unlocked, and it seemed housekeeping didn’t truly close our door when they cleaned it. On our last night, the A/C didn’t seem to work. We called guest services and the lady I spoke to told me that it was turned off for the whole hotel. When asked why or when will it be turned back on, she abruptly interrupts me and says I’m transferring you to the front desk. I waited for at least 2 minutes on the phone before someone from the front desk to answer my call, and he informs me that someone will come check our A/C. We love staying at different hotels in different countries and had no issues with other hotels in Marrakech, however, our stay at Movenpick was very underwhelming and staff didn’t seem to care at all. This has been a very awful experience, and hope that the hotel management can make a much better experience and improvement for others.

The facilities in the room are relatively old, the TV is still a big box, but other facilities are relatively complete, the specifics of not including breakfast are not clear, the overall comparison is quite satisfactory.
