This is a great hotel situated at a beautiful area in the NanShan district. I booked the corner room and the views whilst taking a bath was amazing. There is bathing salt so as to prevent my skin getting to wrinkly after half an hour of bath. The room design is so elegant I would love to stay here for a few more days. A definite return to this hotel some time soon. The breakfast was delicious, not to mention the executive lounge experience-- wide choice of alcoholic beverages, and snacks in the evening. Excellent location for talking business.

Facilities: There is nothing wrong with the public areas. Full of design sense, the hotel has an overall Nanyang style. I personally feel it is more similar to Andaz. The bad experience is that for me, a fitness enthusiast, the hotel gym is not open. If the facilities are not complete, why are you so anxious to open the door? It’s weird that you can’t get fit with a room fee of over 2,800 yuan! The laundry fee is also ridiculously high, and a 100% service fee will be charged for expedited services. I washed 9 pieces of clothes for more than 1,600. . . The most expensive laundry service I have ever encountered in a five-star hotel! There are also foreign objects on the sheets in the room. When a Ctrip guest checks in, doesn’t GSM check the room in advance? Overall so-so. . . In addition, the sound insulation is very poor. I don’t know what is going on upstairs or in the next room one night! Noisy people can't sleep! Mineral water and kettle are not provided in the room, but drinking water! Very inconvenient for those with children! ! !

Awesome location, the rooms are a bit old but it's supposed to be old-school anyways and it's clean. Facilities are pretty good (breakfast/restaurant, the gym, swimming pool etc everything is really nice). Most of all the service was 10/10. I needed an international plug adapter they gave it to me for free, they allowed me to check out very late since my flight was only late afternoon, and finally after loosing my earpods in the room, I called them one day after my checkout to inquire about it, they had already found it and they arranged to ship it back to me in Shanghai.

Even my husband, who is very demanding, thought it was a good value for money. Then my husband wanted to watch TV, but found that there was a problem with the line, so he called the front desk. The front desk guy came to watch, and then the front desk moved a TV to replace it. It was really hard work! All in all, the apartment this time is a 5-star value for money. Don’t ask for services like the Shangri-La Hotel. They only charge you a few hundred yuan a night. It’s perfect in terms of per capita consumption! I will definitely book this hotel next time I come to Nanshan District!
