The B&B has an excellent location, right in the heart of Qibao Old Street. The hosts were incredibly warm and accommodating, always ready to help. They even helped us carry a lot of our luggage, which we really appreciated! When I requested a clothes steamer, they brought it to me instantly. The B&B is well-equipped with a microwave, bathtub, bathrobes, and even a swimming pool! A nice touch was the smart toilets, which automatically activate as you approach. They even provided two duvet options (thick and thin) in the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. We stayed in a loft room, which was incredibly spacious – we even joked that we could throw a party in it! The host even had hair ties available, and honestly, they were the best I've ever used – so gentle on the hair and incredibly smooth! There are plenty of great food options nearby, and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

First off, the ambiance is absolutely impeccable – it's relaxing to the core. This isn't one of those cookie-cutter business luxury hotels; it's got my favorite minimalist wooden style. From the lobby to the hallways, and every corner of the room, you can feel the operator's thoughtfulness and excellent taste. I absolutely love the lobby; the color scheme is basic, but the design is far from it. Behind the lobby sofa, there are many real plants and carefully arranged soft furnishings. I touched the plants, and they're all real and thriving, which must take a lot of effort to maintain. The lobby sofas are also interesting; there are two soft, pebble-like beanbag chairs that are very comfortable. After checking out, I sat in the lobby just zoning out for a while, and it felt like time slowed down, which was incredibly therapeutic. I also have to praise the details. The toiletries are provided in a kraft paper bag during check-in, with the hotel's logo on it – a really nice touch. Providing them based on the number of guests also reduces waste. When I opened it in my room, I found that the toothbrushes and combs were all wooden, feeling super nice in hand, not like cheap, flimsy plastic items. They're eco-friendly and high-quality; they must not have been cheap. The room's cleanliness was also beyond reproach. I'm a bit of a clean freak and have stayed in many more expensive hotels with terrible hygiene. Every part of the room was spotless and fresh, with no stains, making it feel like I was back in my own room at home. Although it seems newly renovated and hasn't been open for long, there wasn't a hint of an unpleasant smell; the entire hotel smelled lovely. This is incredibly important for families with young children or those sensitive to smells. Additionally, the location was better than I expected. The surrounding area has a very strong local vibe, with all sorts of restaurants, noodle shops, kebabs, and lamb skewers. There's a Lawson convenience store right across the street, making it super convenient to grab a late-night snack or fruit. It's also very close to Koreatown; we took a taxi there for dinner, which was about 7-8 minutes, roughly a starting fare. Getting to Hongqiao Railway Station is also very convenient, about a 20-minute taxi ride. I had breakfast and then caught my high-speed train, which was perfectly convenient; no need to worry about transportation at all. The breakfast in the small courtyard far exceeded expectations – the setting was 100%, the plating was 100%, and the taste was 100%! I was truly surprised that a hotel at this price could offer such a chic brunch. Sitting in the restaurant in the morning, looking out at the lush green courtyard through the glass, and slowly enjoying breakfast was incredibly comfortable! I'll definitely be coming back. This is truly a hidden gem of a hotel in Shanghai; for just over 300 RMB, it's unbeatable!
