The staff provided good service and solved the problem seriously. If I hadn't been unable to make an appointment with the Shanghai Museum and the Astronomical Museum, I would not have left Shanghai so early. I forgot to take pictures of the room!

The public area is spacious and bright, with comfortable sofas, bookshelves, board games, etc., which are convenient for everyone to communicate and interact. I stayed in the X room. The bed was clean and comfortable, equipped with privacy curtains, bedside lamps and sockets, which was very considerate. High cost performance: Compared with other similar accommodations in Shanghai, Koala International Youth Hostel is very affordable, and the services and facilities provided are not inferior at all. It is very cost-effective and very suitable for backpackers and students with limited budgets.

Solid option for a very reasonable price in Shanghai. If you like to sleep in a cold room, just note that the AC tends to be warm in the winter. You can ask for adjustments but some days it randomly changes and then you’ll have to ask again. We stayed for over a week. Responsive service all around, Zero was helpful at the end with our bags.

The hotel is in a really good place. The room is simple but clean and convenient. If you are visiting with friends, just keep in mind that the restroom has no door ^^ Also, there was a bit of cigarette smell. The staff was so kind and they help you with everything. So kind. I would book again for sure! And the price was so affordable!

Location-wise, Yitel is ideally situated, making it easy to access local attractions, shopping, and dining. I found it convenient to explore the vibrant neighborhood just steps away from the hotel.
