The hotel reminded me of New York City's Empire State Building with the Art Deco motif. It's an old classic look which I found to be very appealing. Location wise it's less than 10 minutes on foot from Sapporo station. There are a number of tourist, shopping, nightlife and restaurant spots all within walking distance. The view from the room was spectacular and everything was very clean. The breakfast, especially the waffle station, was delicious and offered a wide variety of western and Asian dishes.

We had a terrible experience with the services that the free bottled waters were only for IHG members and we are NOT informed beforehand or while we checked in. And the hotel officers were really indifferent when we tried to communicate about this isssue. We were told “NO one could get bottled waters unless he/ she is a IHG member”. We haven’t been treated so around any hotel in Japan or in the world under any hotels groups. This could be the worst experience we had over a small issue due to the ill communications with hotel service team. Very disappointed on such discriminating hotel policies and we would not be able consider IHG group in Japan anyhow. It was a cozy hotel with good location. But facilities are aged.

Recently we were allowed to travel outside Aomori prefecture. We booked plane tickets and hotel 3 days in advance. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by professional and friendly staff. Our temperatures were taken and all Covid precautions were maintained. Our room was spacious with a view of the mountains and a river. Bathroom was large with separate shower and bathtub. Robes and slippers were provided. Our stay included breakfast and it was delicious. Especially the made to order omelettes. Fresh fruit, vegetables, sweet breads and meats plus several Japanese traditional breakfast items were offered. Plastic gloves are given to use for the self serve items. Every morning we received a warm greeting and coffee from the manager. Everyone in the dining room and hotel made us feel welcomed. The hotel has a bus that shuttles every hour to the main Sapporo train station and shopping center. This was a great benefit of the hotel. We will go back and stay for the winter festival! We were on the 9th floor.

I’ve been to Sapporo several times and also wanted to stay at this hotel. Location is very convenient, just next to JR Sapporo station, driving there is easy as well. Parking for a small fee on site without the hassle of going outdoors is a plus as it is very cold outside during this period. Hotel is surrounded by many stores and restaurants, there are plenty to choose from. Breakfast is average, but the view is really nice. The nearby restaurants make up for the average onsite breakfast. The view from our room was fantastic, day and night view of Sapporo is an eye catcher. The amenities they provide is also of good quality. The hotel could use some renovation as it is beginning to look dated. Also downside is that the onsen on the 22 floor requires additional fee. It would be great if hotel guest can use it for free. Overall a very nice hotel and I would definitely return.

It is located in the centre of Sapporo City. 10 minutes walk North you will find JR Sapporo Station and 10 minutes South you will find the busy commercial district of Susukino. If you are travel from the airport, the airport Liner bus stop is right in front of the hotel but the journey will take more than 90 minutes as there are quite a few stops before arriving at the hotel. Room is clean and tidy. Be sure to book the breakfast if available. It costs 3300Yen if pay separately at the hotel but the breakfast at the Northern Terrace is one of the best buffet breakfast I have ever tasted.

The hotel location is excellent, just several minutes' walking distance from Sapporo Station, and best of all, you can use the underground pass and use the elevator at exit 23, and from there it is only around 200m to the hotel (or exit 22 if you do not mind walking the stairs, then it is only around 150m to the hotel). We stayed there in winter when it was snowing heavily outside, so we were very grateful for this. Less than 10 minutes' walk away are famous landmarks such as Sapporo Beer Factory, Sapporo TV Tower and Odori Park. The staff were all very patient, friendly and helpful. Room is quite standard sized for a Japanese hotel in the city, small but clean. I liked the fact that they have a wide range of pillows that you can freely choose from, and also that there are coin-operated washing machines and dryers available. Our rooms came with breakfast at the adjoining Yayoi restaurant. I am not sure whether it is standard for this hotel or whether it is because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but there was no buffet, and instead breakfast is available in only 4 fixed options (3 Japanese style and 1 Western style), which is the same every day. For example, no eggs, milk, cereal, etc. as what you might expect from a standard Western style breakfast, and the side dishes for the Japanese style options are also fixed so there is no variety. It is not a big problem for the average traveller just staying one or two nights, but having more variety would be nice for example when you are staying for more than a few days, or are a fussy eater. Children set meals are also available at very affordable prices.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. It is very close to the Sapporo subway jr station. There is an elevator at the exit of the subway, so you don't have to worry about carrying heavy luggage. The service attitude is very good, the sound insulation is good, there are many restaurants nearby, and there is Daimaru Department Store in Sapporo Station for shopping! Overall very good, come again next time!

I love this hotel in how good their service is. I didn't receive my package and the front desk Mr. Kudoh response efficiently and assisted at once to found my package. The room is clean, bed is large and with non-smoking. Large bathtub and the room looks very nice. Location is superb too only 1min to bus station and subway. 30s to convenient store. I was looking for an inn in Sapporo where I was soaring because of the schedule that I stayed for two nights from November 1 and three consecutive holidays, and I booked it immediately because this inn I found in JTB was the personal lowest price. When you arrive, the building is a bit old and feels history, but the staff is good and the room cleaning situation is no problem. There was a male bath on the second floor (the third floor for women), and the room was 8 tatami mats with the bus toilet, and it was a fresh feeling that it came to the hot spring inn even though it came to Sapporo. I wonder when I've been sleeping in a futon in a tatami room... I didn't care at all because there was no setting of a non-smoking room. If you are worried about it, the on-off sound of the refrigerator in the room was surprisingly large at bedtime, so you took off every outlet and went to bed, and parking the car of the guest without a gap in the space in front of the hotel entrance If you have a big luggage, you will have less 々 hard to get out of the road? The hotel is close to Nijo market and within 10 minutes walk to Odori Park and Suki, and the location is good, and the CP is high, and it was a hotel that I would like to stay again when I come to Sapporo.

Every time you come to Japan's preferred hotel, the price is cheap, the environment and service are very good. Free breakfast is provided, although not too rich, but there is no problem with eating, children are not limited. This time I lived in JR South Exit of Toyoko Inn, and walked for about 10 minutes from the south gate of JR Station. The hotel is in a small alley, and there is a supermarket diagonally opposite to buy snacks and drinks. The twin room is actually composed of two small rooms. There are two sets of indoor furniture. The two rooms are completely independent. It is suitable for business travel and has privacy.

My sister found this accomodation via *********** platform & booked for our recent family trip to Sapporo. We (5 pax) stayed here for 5 nights. When we first arrived, we were a bit concern with the building exterior & the unmanned check in but the procedure went smoothly. Our apartment interior is clean, simple decorated & spacious 4 bedrooms with heaters in each room. 2 bedrooms for 2 pax 1 bedroom for 3 pax 1 bedroom for 1 pax There is only 1 wooden dining table that can fit 4 person. The rest of furnishing is japanese style is seated on the floor. Washing machine is available but there is no dryer. I also wished there were more hangers available for us to hang our clothes/laundries. I had to leave my worn jeans & jacket on my bedroom floor. Bedroom is japanese futon style & might not be suitable for old folks. The apartment only has 1 mirror in bathroom & 1 mirror in inner shower area. Every morning we (5 pax) had to queue for our turn to use the bathroom mirror !!! We wished there would be mirror in the bedrooms too. Do also note that should you want to boil water at the induction stove, it takes 13 to 15 minutes to get it fully boil. We set mobile alarm to remind us to switch off the stove. The location is located in quiet neighbourhood & 15 mins walk to Odari station (TV Tower). We have enjoyed our brief walk to & from station. The owner of this apartment had arranged free pick up from New Chitose Airport to this apartment. This is highly appreciated. Overall we had enjoyed our stay in this apartment ( except the hanger & mirror issues). It is indeed a lovely apartment. Regards ML LEONG Singapore
