The hotel is so beautiful, the breakfast in the restaurant is very good, the service is first-class, and there is also an Asian restaurant. The British butlers all speak English. Great experience for traveling. The hotel has a big swimming pool. There is also an outdoor restaurant

Stayed for 7 nights in a deluxe room on 10th floor. Check in was easy and very efficient. Room was large with a decent balcony. Bathroom had separate shower and bath. Not very many electric points and no USB charging points. Overall the room was good but in need of modernising. We had an issue with knocking from the water pipes ( not in our room) for our whole stay. Breakfast was plentiful, but limited options for vegetarian and even less for vegan choice. Pool area was great, with lots of loungers and shaded areas. Staffing at the pool bar seemed to be a bit hit or miss, one day 6 staff, the next day 2. Service at the hotel bar was also an issue on a few occaisions, mainly when there were conference groups. The location of the hotel was great, but not for those who would struggle with stairs. Overall great location, but faded granduer and some staffing issues

Decided to book here for a night because of nearby construction work near our holiday rental. The hotel is a little unassuming from the outside, but inside it was evident that the hotel has gone through some redevelopment from previous years as reception and the lobby was small but very modern. The receptionist was friendly and even show us to our room. We were based on the first floor on a basement level room with a double bed. However considering the fact that things were last minute,we didn’t complain too much and we got a decent night sleep . The room was clean and fairly stylish and air con worked properly too. Only downside was no coffee making facilities in room. However, coffee and water was free in the lobby all day, alongside free biscuits. The inside pool is small, but styled well into the bottom of the cave cellar and perfect for a dip. We would have booked a slot in the jacuzzi if we had more time. The breakfast was pretty simple buffet continental, but still offered hot options and cold as well as juice and coffee. Overall, a fairly good experience both with atmosphere and service.

Excellent property with great location, extremely clean and comfortable, super friendly staff. Teo was extraordinary! He was a true example of excellent hospitality. He made our trip more exciting in Malta by guiding and giving us tips about the city and the attractions to cover in 72 hours. He made sure that everything was arranged for us accordingly. I couldn't thank him enough for the excellent level of service he had rendered. We will surely visit H Hotel on our next holiday and expect that will recommend your hotel to our family and friends.

We always book at gilluru hotel either a weekend break or a day by the pool the food is extremly fresh and very tasty

Perfect location. Clean room. Great service. Good view. But.... I visited in March when it was very cold. No heating and the sliding door had many gaps where the wind whistled in so my two nights were very cold and no additional blankets.

We stayed on the older side of the hotel. Room smelt of damp and when we complained they came in and bleached the floors nothing else. There was only one socket in the room which kept crackling. The breakfast was average but we went up the road to Debbie’s Cafe which was great. The pool upstairs was good with nice views but the drinks were overly priced. We had a couples massage “Back, shoulders and neck”. My other half only had his neck massaged. I had all parts it felt good but later that day I experienced some horrific neck pain and felt as though a muscle had twinged. Not worth the price we paid. We went to the Thai Fusion restaurant the views were great but I wasn’t over impressed with my dish to start as is was a red curry in soup water, thankfully they took it back and the taste wasn’t so bad. Again felt it was over priced for what it was. Over all hotel was okay, but the services within were very overly priced. I also think had our room been on the renovated side we would of been more positive on our review as our room was outdated and stunk of damp.

Well, what a great hotel. We arrived on the opening day after a name change from the last hotel name (same owners, different name) We was meant to go to Las Vegas but it didn't happen so we went to Malta. The Hotel was stll being refurbished but a lot of the rooms was open, We was given room 3124 a gorgeous room, with a really nice view. We was shown to our room by Vikky (Viktoria, the Guest Relations Manager) after being checked in by Natalia (i think) We also got a bottle of wine for our long awaited honeymoon as our honeymooon kept being cancelled including the Las Vegas one. As Hilton Diamond members we get breakfast included in our room rate, Breakfast is an expansive affair with far too much to choose from, i went for Salad, i know, crazy right. but topped it off with a nice omelette. The outdoor pool is small but very good, the indoor pool much larger but far too hot for us. Service is great and fast, they was always out taking orders and bringing drinks quickly so you could enjoy more outdoor time. After a few days of being there we asked if we could upgrade to All Inclusive which turned out to be very good, we'd done everything we wanted to do in St Paul's bay so wanted to hang in or near the hotel. All the food is delicious and drinks, although confusing of what was allowed for AI customers, i made the suggestion of having a drinks menu of what drinks ARE allowed as we got a lot of you 'can't have that' A few members of staff made our stay really fantastic and always took the time to say hi and have a great conversation. These include Vikki (GRM) Lorenzo (bar supervisor) Jason in the same bar, always happy, always friendly and Desislav Juniper bar and other staff that we just didn't get their names. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main Square with a vast amount of shops, bars and restaurants. This used to be the old Dolmen Hotel and they have retained a lot of their staff, it's been nice seeing them adapt to a new system which can be challenging but they will get there in time. At the time of writing this review, there still are building works going on but getting less and less as its all getting finished. Myself and my fiancé visited this resort and it was an excellent hotel, in a lovely part of Malta. The hotel was very clean, with very nice and obliging staff who were extremely helpful. The breakfast offered a great choice of foods including continental style, cooked traditional English breakfast foods, as well as cold meats and cheeses with an array of pastries. The room was lovely, with a comfortable bed and lovely shower and bath facility, as well as a balcony to relax on. The resort has its own private beach area which is only a short walk away, as well as having 2 outdoor swimming pools. The housekeeping staff were extremely efficient, and always left the rooms looking fresh and new. The bar area is very welcoming and relaxing providing a good choice of cocktails at a fair price. I would 100% come back here, and although this is my first visit to Malta, so I do not have anything to compare it to in terms of other hotels in Malta, I would say that it has been a brilliant experience so far staying here and have enjoyed every minute of it
