We had a great stay, the service was excellent, and the people working there were so friendly. The hotel is magnificent, modern and spacious, and the sea view rooms are simply superb.

Lovely hotel as in decor etc but when it comes to customer service they have no idea what that means. If you are staying as half board basis, be prepared for your evening to be totally taken up with just trying to get a table and a meal. We counted 11 tables with approx 35 customers and they consider this as full, which in turn means a 1 hour wait for a table after you get a table then if you are lucky it will be only 2 hours from being seated to leaving for a simple 3 course meal from a very short menu. I suggest they go in to the local town and see how professional restaurants make a customer experience fulfilling, from a much more extensive menu and without making you feel like you are being held hostage. The really sad thing about this is there are no apologies and they genuinely think they are doing a good job. Exasperated doesn’t cover it.

This is a lovely looking hotel, beautiful setting and the rooms are good. The restaurant service for the evening meal is however truly dreadful. A complete inability to serve customers. They can’t provide you with a place in the restaurant when it is only two thirds to three quarters. The places at the tables aren’t the issue, it is the inability of the staff to provide anything approaching a meaningful service. We had to wait almost an hour to be seated after being told we had to wait 15 minutes. The food is poor quality as well. We have stayed at Melia hotels in Torremolinos and Puerto Banus previously, both had excellent restaurants with lovely, helpful, knowledgeable staff and we would stay there again. This however is terrible and we regret booking this.

Staff are very unhelpful, no Concierge when we checked in told just go floor 3, non of the hotel facilities were explained to us, feel like a inconvenience to staff. Arrived late so had room service £22 for a sandwich. Was supposed to have dressing gown and slippers in room but non supplied. Roof bar closed, no entertainment at all in hotel. Two days pool area taken over by conference guests, taking pictures and walking around sun beds also smoking (in non smoking hotel) that are better taken care off than paying guests, can’t even get to bar. Got keep asking for things. Very dark walk way through forest when leaving hotel ( not suitable for disabled guests) hot tub is cold tub. All tv channels German. Spent most of time away from hotel which we don't usually do as I'm disabled, even hired a car as forest is hard work. Hotel is trying to be something it's no achieving, wants to be high end but got start with good staff, beautiful hotel deco wise but not welcoming at all. Just seen other guests complaining of conference people using hotel so guests not happy that 150 people are walking around the pool area when relaxing.

Our 1st time at this hotel and overall we enjoyed it very much. From reading other reviews everyone seems to have mixed experiences here. Like everywhere you stay I suppose. So taking that into consideration I like to be as fair as I can when writing reviews, whilst sharing our own experience. Loved the relaxed vibes including the piped music around the hotel, even the live music (cellist and violinist during breakfast on 2 occasions during our 11 night stay, and DJ on 2 occasions on the roof top terrace, but I think live entertainment in the hotel a few evenings would have been appreciated. The decor (although yes a little tired in places mainly corridor floors and sunbeds) is just beautiful. I loved the little dog in its kennel on the doorstep! (Not real of course) Our favourite spot was the rooftop terrace. Views stunning and never overcrowded. Breakfast: Great selection of food and drinks, and made to order fried eggs or omelettes was a nice touch. Toasters very slow. Our room 042 was a Xtra Beach House on floor zero. Stunning views out to sea from our large balcony with lovely day bed, and watching the sunrise was such a treat. The room was very spacious, always clean, with a fantastic size shower ( powerful and plenty of hot water). Good hairdryer and plenty of mirrors, huge, very comfortable bed and pillows too. Now our only couple of gripes: When it rained our room floor flooded (on 2 occasions)! The emergency exit door was opposite our room door, so the water flowed under it and into ours! Waking up in the middle of the night wading through water was very alarming! When we reported it to reception there was no apology or explanation from the girl at reception, but it was dealt with quickly each time. (It was eventually explained by our cleaner.) And last complaint was the peace and privacy on our balcony, ruined by the local dog walkers who constantly gathered on hotel grounds and benches under our room, particularly in the early evenings, when we liked to sit out and enjoy the sunsets. The dogs barking and people chatting loudly and staring up, was a real invasion of our privacy. So perhaps a room on the upper floors (which we did request) but is luck of the draw, would avoid this.

I was here in August 2023 with Frieda for a friend’s birthday. The hotel is incredibly stunning, spectacular with excellent service. Andrea really went the extra mile. My room was sea view so I had a direct view of the sea which was out of this world! Food was delicious & so much of a variety. I thoroughly enjoyed my time, experience and would book again & highly recommend this hotel! The surrounding areas are lovely with lots to view and lovely restaurants and places to shop.

Firstly don’t let the front of the hotel put you off as behind the large not so pretty facade is a hidden gem! We were welcomed at the reception and reception staff very friendly and efficient. We took an upgrade offer for the master suite and boy we were glad we did. Wow! It was amazing. We have never stayed in such a large hotel room, approx 100 sq/m. And had everything and more, even a jacuzzi on the outdoor decking that looked directly over the sea. We checked in early and room wasn’t ready so we made our way outside and it had a chilled Ibiza vibe. Several pools on different levels, plenty of beds with complimentary beach towels. Crash out areas and plenty of casual seating, very pleased. We made our way to the lovely chilled out shack bar right on the front overlooking the sea. We enjoyed a few aperol spritz in the sun and had a bite to eat which the was the typical offerings but was presented and cooked nicely. Staff at the shack bar were extremely nice, worked really hard and always had a smile as did all the staff we met. Breakfast area was large and comfortable offering inside and outside seating. Tons of choices. You have to self service for everything including coffee but this suited us as you just got what you wanted when you wanted. We used the large sun beds whilst around the pool are which was included as a suite guest and was just perfect. Room and general areas really clean and well maintained so from us we had no complaints whatsoever. We are already looking to return next year. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful stay! See you again soon.

Great location right by the sea, rooms are comfortable and the air conditioning was amazing !! The restaurant has a great selection of food, which was nicely presented. All the staff are very friendly, professional and keen to help. It was my birthday during our stay which they kindly acknowledged with cake n fizz. Its only a short walk to the harbour with a wide selection of restaurants and bars. We will visit again . Thanks

A gorgeous spot on the coast taking in beautiful sea views. We had a lovely, relaxing stay at the Sol Beach House. The staff were great, super helpful and kind and we experienced faultless service during our stay. On arrival, our room wasn’t quite ready so we were given access to the rooftop pool/bar area and complementary drinks & food. It was a beautiful spot and a great way to begin our stay. We stayed in the junior sea view suite - spacious and the sea view was gorgeous. Breakfast each day was excellent. The selection & variety of food on offer was huge, something to suit all tastes. Lunchtime options at the Shack and up at the rooftop were yummy. We didn’t eat at the hotel on an evening, preferring to take the 10min walk to Santa Eularia and eat out. We had no issue with finding sun loungers after we’d had breakfast; there’s plenty available until around 10am. Yes, some people are reserving them earlier and No, this isn’t stopped. The only thing we’d have liked is some actual info on the basics - pool opening/closing times, serving times for breakfast, where to get pool towels from etc. Whilst the staff helped with this when we asked, there wasn’t any info available in the rooms. The TV has the bar opening times on it (which were incorrect) but some kind of welcome information would’ve been useful. Overall, our stay was comfortable, relaxing and we enjoyed our time here.
