gorgeous hotel with the most welcoming and friendly genuine staff. breakfast was so fresh with local produce, attention to detail, and extra details such as eggs as you like them! truly incredible spa facility… really the best place to stay and enjoy St Anton. I hope to be back again there for longer next time!!

The Penz Family and their staff were genuinely friendly and interested hosts. As we travel a lot and work in hospitality ourselves we can tell that the way they make their guests feel at home is very warm and special. Breakfast is great and the a**osphere of the hotel and te rooms is cozy. The beautiful SPA is a very nice place to relax after a day of skiing.

We visited Himmlhof again after our first stay two years ago and it could not have been better. Friendly staff, good food and pleasant mood in the hotel. Especially the cakes in the afternoon were very appreciated.

amazing hotel definitely would go back again. All the staff/family were super amazing and helpful and we are even able to get us our ski passes at the hotel, breakfast every morning was amazing and great service. Definitely my favourite location out of all the hotels in St. Anton 10/10

We stayed at one of the lovely Himmlhof apar**ents last year and booked into the main hotel this year, over Half Term with our two children (11/13). Although the hotel was fully booked, it did not feel like it at any point and offered a relaxing break. The set up of this boutique hotel with its sitting areas, communal spaces, different rooms/suites, spa, central location, parking option and much more is the most perfect formula for a holiday. For any age. We cannot wait to go back next year! Himmlhof is a heaven of a hotel, family-run, with heart, a kind and very friendly guest orientated service, impeccably clean rooms (secret elves always came and made our beds whilst we were out for breakfast), a beautiful spa area that is well thought out and offers sauna, steam room, swimming pool, resting areas, a cold bath. Much care goes into keeping everything organised and guests are well looked after. In the mornings, a big breakfast awaits with healthy and cooked options, colds cuts, a variety of fresh bread, cereals, fruit etc. And in the late afternoon, Family Penz serves a 'Jause' which suits those who have been active and skiing very well, and offers a welcome snack. Every day different, freshly baked cakes were offered, as well as hot/cold savoury options. We cannot fault anything and can only offer praise. We are well travelled, but Himmlhof must be one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. No wonder one has to be quick to book or patiently wait until a room might become available!

Wow one of the best small luxury hotels we have stayed in. Perfectly quiet location in St Anton. We stayed in the 2 bedroom Hunter suite. Beautiful interior design small entry to each suite. Good storage and hanging space for clothing, lovely bathroom of a good size. This family run business is a true delight. The attention to detail is excellent. Chris who runs the breakfast area is just amazing. Everyone is given individual attention. First class homemade and regional food, great coffee and the best Austrian beer. It was our son’s birthday and they gladly supplied a lovely homemade cake and table decorations. I am gluten free and gluten free bread was supplied for my breakfast as well as a lovely cake for afternoon tea. All the Penz family are go above and beyond to make your stay special. The spa and wellness area is just beautiful with a fireplace, pool and several saunas, with lots of lounge chairs to relax in. This is a true bespoke luxury holiday. Cant wait to return.

A wonderful hotel, not possible to fault. In a great location for everything, but away from the busier and noisier streets. The hotel is so relaxing, and the rooms are perfect, immaculate. But it is the Penz family and their team that make it such a lovely place to stay. The hotel restaurant isn’t open for an evening meal, but the restaurants that Chris and Margherita recommended were perfect and going out each evening meant that we explored more of St Anton. Our first stay at the Himmlhof, but not our last we hope.

Cannot describe how fantastic this place is, we had such a wonderful holiday here - friendly family run boutique hotel with great staff, rooms, spa and the afternoon snacks were great :) thank you for a great stay we hope to return.

The Hotel was superb and it has been one of our best experiences in a ski resort so far in our whole life. It is difficult to list all the elements that made our stay fantastic, but just to highlight some: -The location of the hotel is perfect, in the middle of the town and just 4 min walk from the train station and 5 min walk to the lifts. -The attention provided by all the members of the Penz familiy and their staff is superb. They really treat the hosts like part of their family. -It is very quiet and is perfect to rest. -The breakfast is excellent with a great variety of delicacys. -There is an afternoon tea time with local dishes which is great. We had the best cake and soup of all the meals we had in St Anton and surrounding towns just in this tea time. -The spa area and sauna is fantastic. We really look forward coming back to Himmlhof hotel!!
