Hotels in Monti, Rome

The location is great as it’s a 10 min walk from termini station and about 30 mins from the main attractions but is close to metro links that will get you there quicker too. The rooms are very small but you get what you pay for. Beds aren’t the comfiest and the room can get quite stuffy at night (this was in Feb). Walls are very thin so you can hear people in the corridors, I had children screaming all late evening playing knock a door run and nothing was done about it. The staff were helpful but there was one staff member that I was quite uncomfortable with. They picked up that I was on my own staying there and asked me to go for a drink whilst I was checking in, I said no, then proceeded to tell me they’d use my number from the file to WhatsApp me which is not on at all! I also didn’t like that the room key has to be handed in every time you left as there weren’t any checks when you picked them up again so anyone could have used it.

Aside from the Vatican, all other attractions are within walking distance. The hotel is nice and well-lit! But, but! The toilet has a pungent, unpleasant smell or something! Strangely, sometimes it doesn't. When we first checked in, the perfume was so strong that we wondered if it was just covering up the toilet smell. This smell completely wiped out all the good things! I wonder if it was just our room.

It's very old, but the location is great. You can walk around the ancient city. There is a bus stop right at the door. It is a real door, 5 meters away. There are several trains to Termini station.

Friendly staff available 24/7 have local knowledge. The room was spacious and luxurius. Although no meals can be provided a snack option is available at reception for free, with fresh baked items...though a small selection it was scrumptious. Have recommended this hotel to friends who will visit Rome soon.

The location is fantastic! It's tucked away in an alley just opposite the Colosseum, and some of the hotel rooms even offer views of it. You can walk to the Colosseum in just 3-5 minutes from the front door. Keep walking a bit further, and you'll reach iconic sights like Piazza Venezia and the Trevi Fountain. There's even a Roman Holiday-themed scene right outside the entrance. The fourth photo clearly shows the Colosseum from the hotel window. The front desk service was good, and the cleanliness was also acceptable. My only minor complaint is that the bathroom shower is quite small, so it's easy to splash water out and get the bedroom carpet wet. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that.

A cozy hotel without breakfast, but they offer a promotion for the neighboring Milano. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location is a bonus: right across from the hotel is a functioning basilica and many delicious restaurants. The street is quiet, even though it's close to the train station, but it's not near the train station. I can confidently recommend it to my friends and subscribers. Overall, our experience was smooth and thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. We would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Rome.

The reception was great but the room was a very tiny for 3 persons. Bathroom also was small and the sink very uncomfortable, also from shower when the close the doors of shower was anyway somehow running out of water. The bad also sliding down which was for one person. I liked the location which close to colosseum and also very close to station Termini

Rome in the peak season can find a cheaper hotel. It is relatively simple but there is absolutely no mess. It is close to the Colosseum.
