Vatica B&B Roma

We never visited the accommodation, but our experience with it was catastrophic! We booked in January for September and it was clear that we had to pay a deposit. In July, the accommodation contacted us on a Friday at around 5 p.m. and wrote that we had to transfer €189 within 24 hours. If that didn't happen, the reservation would be canceled. We transferred the money on Saturday morning. On Saturday evening, the accommodation canceled our reservation anyway because they hadn't received the money yet. But that wasn't technically possible because the landlord wrote to us that international transfers take 2 working days and aren't possible on weekends! Unbelievable, right? So he deliberately set an extremely short deadline over the weekend to get rid of our contract. Then he offered us a new contract with no cancellation option under his terms. But we didn't want that! Now our room is back on the booking portal for €400 more! Unbelievable, isn't it? So be careful with this landlord if you reserve well in advance. Something so unbelievable has never happened to us before. We will never book there again and will recommend it to others.

Great family hotel. On February 14, my wife and I checked into this wonderful hotel. We rented a room through Booking. Lyuba, the hostess, contacted us almost immediately and explained how best to get there. We checked in earlier than expected, but Lyuba met us, didn’t charge us for early check-in, and gave us a map with tips on where to go. The room is clean, comfortable, the location is close to the Vatican. We recommend it to everyone, we will definitely come back

We booked a trip for 4 people with free cancellation. Suddenly a deposit was required. We were also written to via WhatsApp and pressure was built up shortly after booking. There was nothing about this in the booking confirmation. After I asked where that was, the trip was canceled without further consultation. Incredibly rude. travel a lot. Nothing like this has ever happened to me.

Lyuba and her husband open the doors of their B&B to you and make you feel at home. The room was very good, the service was excellent and the location could not have been better. If you have questions or need recommendations, they are there for you and will help you with whatever you need. Without a doubt, if I return to Rome, I plan to repeat with them.

Super friendly. Explanation of what there is to do in Rome. Nothing is too much. Do everything possible to make it to your liking. Very neat. Air conditioning in the room is a plus. Breakfast is tasty but could be a little more varied. If you are there for a few days it becomes a bit monotonous in the long run.

I stayed in this property for a week, for a holiday period. I'm usually quite fussy, but I was very happy with the cleanliness of the room, the bathroom (I also went to check the shower leaks) and the common areas. I also had the opportunity to experience the availability of the managers when I felt uncomfortable halfway through the holiday, which gave me a lot of peace of mind.
