The Hive Hotel

Termini Central Station Rome|1.62km from Arch of Janus
Great location. Any major attraction can be reached within 20 minutes. Spacious room with a very comfortable mattress. Very helpful staff both at the reception and during room service. We initially had a corner room, but found it a little noisy for us. At the reception they changed it without any problems for another one. There are several good restaurants nearby. Reception's recommendations were also excellent. The hotel does not have its own parking lot, but in the same building on the base floor there is a garage (not the hotel), which can be accessed without entering the ZTL zone. Price 35 euros per day. But opposite the garage there is a paid city parking lot, where you can also leave your car. To get into the hotel from a garage or parking lot, you need to call from downstairs so that a receptionist will come and open the door to the elevator hall. We liked the breakfast. There was a bit of a lack of variety in egg dishes, but there was plenty of other stuff. I think the main disadvantage is the paid gym and spa. And if the spa is somehow explainable, then the gym is usually free for hotel guests. The price for visiting guests is 9 euros. Restaurant is fine. You get the voucher with 20% discount when check-in so the price becomes reasonable. Overall we enjoyed our time at the hotel and will return here again. Rose Garden Palace Roma by Omnia Hotels

Via Veneto Rome|2.21km from Arch of Janus
We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Rose Palace. The front desk gave us tired travelers a warm welcome that made us relax immediately. Our room overlooked the back of the American Embassy with guards stationed outside 24/7 so it was definitely safe. The hotel is a little off the beaten path from the usual touristy spots in Rome but in a very quiet area. The room was very clean. We had 3 in our room and the 3rd person had to sleep on a full size pull out couch. It was comfy for a pull out (you couldn’t feel the bar under the mattress) but unless you put up the bed every day the only place to sit were the beds. It had a small fridge and the bathroom was updated but limited on counter space around the sink. The buffet breakfast was geared toward a variety of tastes. Scrambled eggs, a variety of pastries, orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese, meat, etc. When the weather was nice we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. There is a tiny grocery store called Co-op around the corner where you can buy the basics. Also on the next block is an ATM in the alcove of the bank entrance that seemed secure to use. Reading older reviews we thought there was a restaurant in the hotel serving dinner but it turned out to just be a small bar. So we walked a couple of blocks north and ate at Cesarina and enjoyed a good meal and friendly staff. There were a lot of other restaurants to pick from in a 2-3 block radius. The ones on Via Vittorio Veneto appeared to be more expensive than the ones northeast of the hotel. There is a taxi stand a couple of blocks away and we used both Uber and inTaxi for rides back to the hotel.

I chose this hotel based on many positive reviews from many platforms. And I experienced all of the positive reviews. And for the first time I would recommend hotel to my friends and families/relatives. The two rooms were the best : the view, size and amenities. To my surprise, the minibar provided as complimentary. Breakfast : the best breakfast I ever had after more than 30 years traveling for both leisures/family and business trips in Indonesia, Asia and Europe. On top of the buffet menus, we were offered breakfast that personalised for our needs/tastes. Now, two weeks after we left the hotel, my wife and daughter keep telling me about to comeback again to Rome just because this hotel …. All the staffs were helpful and almost excellent. Keep the good work guys, as this hotel’s experiences were the oasis in many disappointments about Rome. One small note : It was a little bit difficult for me to find this hotel, and taking up two large luggage up to the hotel lobby was a little struggle

The purpose of this trip is to rest for two days Booked an ”improved apartment” Unique ”smart” apartment design, very convenient space planning, simplicity and practicality exceed my expectations Stay in room 23, there are many windows and sunlight, if necessary, the relaxation area can be completely isolated from the light Large white bathroom with windows and mirrors on the entire wall A full kitchen area (near the supermarket) to prepare your own breakfast The maid cleans the room effectively every day, replenishing tea, coffee capsules and water (carbonated and natural) The location of the hotel is very convenient, first of all the sights within walking distance (30 minutes walk to the Vatican), and there is a local coffee shop around the corner where you can have a cup of espresso and croissant in the morning Excellent staff service, they also helped book a trip to the Vatican It is very important that the door of the hotel must be closed until 8 am, you need to call the staff and they will see you.

We had a ground floor room, with doors out onto hotel garden - a lovely tranquil space, and it's easy to forget that the location is in the heart of bustling old Rome. Rome itself was very small, but had everything needed. Staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Probably only criticism would be that the hotel appears well-worn, and in need of a renovation, and would be more comparable to a 3 star hotel in UK, rather than 4 star. Fridge in our room didn't work, and the bathroom, though it had everything was very cramped, with a very small shower cubicle (no bath). That said, it is very clean, and appears to be well run. But I would definitely, and happily go back.

This hotel is fabulous! The rooms are simple, but comfy, the hotel area and courtyard are so cool and unique. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The staff are so friendly, helpful, and just all around pleasant. As I said, the room that I had (single) was basic, but clean and comfy. The shower was strong and hot, the AC was cold and constant. The bed was soft and clean. There wasn’t an elevator, at least that I saw, so if you have luggage it will need to be carried up, but the hotel staff offered to help me. This place is a gem, and hidden treasure that you should stay at. It’s so close to everything. The forum is literally behind the hotel, the the coliseum is 10-12 min walk. Circus Maximus is across the street, and bus stops to get around Rome are within 5-8 min stroll walk. I honestly love this hotel, the staff made it even more amazing than it already was. I can’t stress this enough, stay at this hotel. The price is great and the location couldn’t be better. Just remember the rooms are simple and basic, but they are not dirty or uncomfortable, It’s just not the Hilton, but honestly, I don’t want this place to be. It’s charm is how unique it is.

It looks like a newly renovated hostel. The interior facilities are really clean, and the staff are really friendly. Because it shares an entrance with another large building, you can see a large garden. For only 5 euros, you could eat as much fruit, various breads, coffee, and milk as you wanted!
