Portici Hotels & Accommodations

We stayed for 3 nights, used as a base to explore Naples and visit Vesuvius and Pompeii. The hotel is beautiful, exceptionally clean and very nice, modern decor. Huge, comfortable bed and we had a lovely view of Vesuvius and side sea view (Deluxe room, 3rd floor). Staff are excellent, very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very nice buffet style and you can request omelettes to order. We ate in the restaurant on our first night, in our opinion this was a little over priced for the quality of the food. There are plenty of very good quality restaurants within a short walking distance (10 - 15 minutes) or the hotel shuttle will take you and pick you up free of charge. We used the hotel shuttle for airport transfers and would recommend this, at £50 Euros each way this is around the same cost as arranging yourself but more convenient. The train station is around 10 mins walking distance and the hotel will take you if you prefer. Train to Naples takes around 15 mins. The hotel arranged a day tour of Vesuvius and Pompeii for us before our arrival, we would highly recommend this option - minibus with a guide collects you from the hotel and the whole excursion is around 9 hours including lunch at a picturesque pizzeria in the hills and a guide for Pompeii (Vesuvius guides are free of charge and you pick one up when you arrive in your chosen language). Cost was around 100 Euros per person. Pool area is lovely and waiter service for food and drinks to your sunbed. The pool is very cold! Only real negative for us was the shower - very small cubicle for such a lovely large hotel room and modern bathroom! We would visit this hotel again as a perfect location for visiting Naples but away from the hustle and bustle! The grounds are peaceful and the views are stunning but it is within easy reach of the amenities in Portici and very close to Naples centre via train.

The only good thing about this hotel is the view across the bay to Mt Vesuvius. The staff speak very little to no english (or choose not to). The aircon in the rooms is set to 18 degrees and the night staff say its set at the lowest setting. Its barely priducing a mild blow. We asked to sit at the area where we had breakfast for evening meal as were the two Itakian families yet we wete refused and told to eat in the main restaurant. The main meal i got was the Ravioli and when it arrived, i wished I'd went elsewhere. 5 small pieces of ravioli and they charge €5 for a small 250ml bottle of coca cola. We stayed 2 nights and with hindsight shouldve went elsewhere. There was 20 of us in our group and we deparyed at 0630 to go to our next destination. The hotel refused point blank to provide any sort of breakfast prior to our departure as they opened breakfast at 0700. Avoid at all costs.

We had a very good experience with this hotel. Situated across the beach, near to the bus station and close to the railway station, the hotel has big, spacious rooms, with all the ammenities needed. The breakfast was great, with a lot of choices, and mostly, the breakfast room was a rooftop with such an amazing view over the sea and vezuvius. Everything was perfect

Seiano harbour 250 m away. This Mediterranean-style hotel boasts welcoming and bright rooms.

Beautiful location with partial sea view room, very large structure. The staff were very kind and helpful. Overall nice room, but the shower should be changed because it is with the curtain. The hotel also has an excellent SPA which costs € 20 per person for an hour of wellness program (one hour, however, is not enough to fully enjoy the experience) Breakfast a bit to be reviewed.

Good morning , This hotel is well placed but unfortunately there is a problem with the air conditioners that are out of the ground I changed three rooms but in vain. The reception only one man and one woman made the effort to confirm anomaly but they have no solution. A receptionist to avoid his aggressiveness and speech at night left me a night with a summer climate in winter , last does not respond to trip.com requests that tried to find a heating solution in the middle of January and cried at me in should tell me ”I don't speak English” he advised me to see the climate police and whether I am sick or not it is not his problem ,and given the place of booking is no longer refundable so he had his account to me to accept such conditions that they are . As this receptionist is absent from the reception in the evening and speaks English since I arrived . So here I add this comment has already on Google in suggesting you choose better or an Airbnb has this price of € 80 , in Paris and Milan we are well served while Naples is cheaper .

I thank all the staff at the hotel again for the reception, attention, availability and kindness they give every day to the customers making the stay so comfortable especially at: Sonia, Donato, Giuseppe (mythical!). I use it for work issues and I advise everyone for both elegance, parfum, cleaning, customer attention (e.g. spawn, chicory, etc..) and especially for the position. Thank you again!
