"The landlord is a very kind old man who keeps the cabin clean and tidy. The cabin looks exactly like a fairy tale. I am very satisfied with it. It is located on a small hillside. It takes about two or three minutes to drive to Port Campbell. Looking out of the house, you can see a hillside of cattle and sheep, as well as kangaroos and rabbits. At night, the Milky Way is clearly visible. Looking at the starry sky in the yard at 20 degrees is the meaning of travel."

"Right in the heart of a charming seaside town, directly opposite some fantastic Western-style eateries, and with a supermarket just diagonally across the street. If you walk a bit further, there's another excellent Western restaurant. The town itself is quite small, and a stroll along the beach offers beautiful scenery. We arrived relatively early and picked up our keys directly from the front desk. If you arrive late, you'd likely need to retrieve them from a key box. Although the rooms aren't huge, each has a small balcony overlooking the street and the sea. I only stayed one night, so I didn't get to fully enjoy it. The room also had a microwave and cutlery, which is great for heating simple breakfasts, but no induction hob. Overall, it's definitely worth staying here."

"Review for Southern Ocean Motor Inn, Port Campbell The Southern Ocean Motor Inn is in an incredible location in the heart of Port Campbell, offering easy access to the town. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The bed was almost 5-star hotel quality, but having only one pillow per person was disappointing. A couple of extra pillows would have made a big difference to comfort. The room’s shutter blinds were a standout feature, providing excellent privacy while still allowing us to enjoy the beautiful sea views. The shower room was immaculate, though the water pressure could definitely be improved. Despite this, the air conditioning was spot on, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, making it a great place to relax. We would definitely stay here again and hope that a few small changes, like adding more pillows and improving water pressure, could make an already lovely experience even better."

"What an amazing place - the location is superb, just a couple of minutes outside Port Campbell and the property itself is both beautiful and immaculately kept. There were fantastic views everywhere - we were treated to a sublime sunset - and Tanya (our host) could not have been more helpful, including by agreeing to change the date of our arrival when I got that confused. Each room has all the facilities you could possibly need and, as we had ordered a hamper, had more than we could want for a lovely evening snack/treat and a great breakfast. Can’t wait to return and can say without hesitation that this makes a fantastic base on this part of the Great Ocean Road - we would certainly have stayed a day or two longer if we could have."
