We stayed at the Morning Sun Inn on our way both to and from Buffalo, NY on a 5-day road trip to view architectural sites in Western, PA and Buffalo. The inn is well-located to downtown, the zoo, and to a small area of restaurants and shops. It is clean and well-appointed. We stayed in the Anna Suite and in the Karen Room. The innkeeper had, unfortunately, had an accident and was unavailable during either of our stays. Instead, he texted us the codes to the inn and to our room. He was also unavailable to cook breakfast and had instead arranged for a local woman to do so at 8:30 am. While this schedule worked for our first stay, it did not for our second stay as we had a tour to get to. The breakfast provided was tasteless: watery scrambled eggs, undercooked pancakes, and some "fresh" fruit. Finally, we booked this inn based on excellent reviews from other guests. I assume that they were accurate when written, and we hope they will once again be. However, we can't help but wonder whether the fact that the inn is currently for sale might have something to do with our less than stellar experience.
