Yijintang Bolian Inn

It was a very pleasant first trip to Pingyao. I will definitely stay here again because this short stay of three days and two nights left me with too many surprises and beautiful memories. Regarding travel, I plan to post it on a certain h-book, so Ctrip will just contribute my accommodation memories guide - I sincerely recommend [Yijintang·Bolian], and I would like to call and like the good boss, good housekeeper, and good aunt! ! ! ✔️Location advantage, excellent environment: The location is close to the main street, but it is in an alley, so it is quiet in the bustle. In the alleyway back to the hotel at night, red lanterns were hung high🏮, it was like entering a movie time and space. ✔️The interior environment of the house is hygienic and clean, and the cave dwelling culture is profound: Because I checked in on a Tuesday and there were rooms available on weekdays, the kind and kind staff helped me upgrade the room type for free. The housekeeper and aunt took the initiative to help change supplies and adjust the TV every day. Cave dwellings are warm in winter and cool in summer. When we stayed in this season, we didn’t need air conditioning at all. The windows were bright and clean, and the ventilation was good. ✔️Good hosts, good shopkeepers/housekeepers, and good cooks are all kind-hearted and well-wishers. The housekeeper looks tall and serious, but is actually patient and careful. The boss is young and promising, with dark skin. The aunt is kind, enthusiastic and good at sharing. After getting along with every staff member in the hotel, I feel that they are sincere and attentive, reflecting the integrity and sincerity of Shanxi people in every aspect (perhaps this is a characteristic of Pingyao people?). 1. Help save money 1. Before I came, my sister reminded me that I could ask the owner of the inn where I was staying if there was any discount on tickets for the performance of "Seeing Pingyao Again". Sure enough, if you ask the innkeeper/housekeeper, you can get a discount of 18 yuan (Xiao Xiang ~ worth it!). 2. I asked the butler for help and wanted to buy some specialties and souvenirs. The butler took me to help me find a friend without saying a word, and he helped me bargain with the price. He was very sincere and considerate. 3. Breakfast is provided, and the breakfast style is home-cooked, nutritious and heart-warming. I was under the impression that the room I booked on Ctrip did not include breakfast, but the boss said directly and cheerfully, "We will deliver it regardless of whether it is included or not." At 7:00 in the morning, Auntie will prepare a variety of homemade dishes and deliver them to the room or in the yard. It is very pleasant to drink yellow rice porridge and have breakfast leisurely on a wicker chair in the yard on a sunny day ~ 2. Help save effort 1. Cars are not allowed to enter the inner streets of the ancient city. The boss rode a battery car to pick us up from the new east gate (upper east gate) of the ancient city and helped us drag our suitcases back to the hotel. 2. Our luggage was too heavy when we went out, and the butler immediately and considerately helped us cross the threshold that was a bit high (for girls). He was very gentlemanly. 3. Help save worry 1. When you arrive at the store, the owner will take a map of the ancient city and circle the locations of the inn and main attractions, as well as business hours, for easy reference. 2. Because we had a very busy schedule and were worried about the choice of attractions, the breakfast auntie gracefully and attentively helped us give personalized suggestions for our reference. Based on her suggestions, we actually experienced it and it was very useful. 3. Seeing us having breakfast and chatting, he promptly reminded us to pay attention to the county government performance time at 9:30 in the morning. 4. We always feel a little regretful that we can’t go to the Qiao Family Courtyard (in Qixian County). The breakfast aunt comforted us and said that the Ma Family Courtyard in the ancient city is also very good, and it is the residence of George Yong’s father-in-law, so we can also appreciate it. What was very sweet was that she also shared with us the brand of beef that the locals ate when they were children and the style of lacquerware that their daughters would prepare when they get married. For a girl like me who loves planting, sharing these goodies really brings us closer and makes us fall in love ❤️ There are many details, I must not recall them all. I don’t like to waste time writing reviews, but I wrote so many without even realizing it on the return taxi and high-speed train. It must be the charm of Pingyao and the magic of Bolian Inn... 🌱I think I will definitely come to Pingyao again, and I will definitely stay at Bolian again. It is not easy for people to find a place where they feel safe, warm, friendly and safe in a foreign land. The hotel is excellently well located, the hotel staff is extraordinary, incredibly friendly, breakfast is free and every time we left the room they gave us water, fruit, traditional Shanxi liquor, they welcomed us at the entrance to the city and helped us With our luggage, they gave us 2 room options, the rooms are very spacious, clean, newly renovated, the bed is huge and very comfortable. The quality-price ratio is one of the best we have found in China. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel, you will not find the hustle and bustle of the main and congested streets

The uncle in charge is old, but his service attitude is worth learning in the industry. He introduced the map to the guests in advance and tried his best to help me if I needed anything. He helped me rent a bicycle and also helped me to catch the taxi. It was heartwarming. Hygiene: The hotel hygiene is also good, but the previous guest also poured tea into the pool, which was very unethical and caused a little congestion. Environment: The hotel is not too convenient around the main street. You can go anywhere at any time. There are all kinds of food 100 meters away, and it is also convenient to buy things and return to the hotel. It was a very good stay experience and I recommend everyone to stay!
