Reserved the Deluxe Seaview Room for 5D4N with my husband. From check in till check out, the service was exceptional. The receptionist (Mon) was fluent in english and escorted us to our room on the 5th floor. Unlike other hotels around, there’s an elevator in this hotel so you don’t have to worry about climbing the stairs. The bellboy also helped carry our luggage into the room and load our luggage into the car when we check out. Lobby: Cozy, with many sofas, pool table & foosball table. Room: Spacious room with partial sea view from the balcony. It also feels great to sleep on the cozy king bed after a full day tour. The TV only has cable channels, but we’re mostly outside so it wasn’t much of an issue. All the light switches & alarm clock is by the bedside which is very convenient. Smoking: They provide ashtray to smoke on the balcony. Bathroom: Spacious & clean, with bidet spray. Shower area & bathtub is separated. The water heater is easily adjustable and heats up very fast. Toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel & toothbrush is provided. Breakfast: Buffet style breakfast with Asian & Western cuisine. If you’re a muslim, do note that there are some pork dishes. You can avoid eating the porridge/bacon/meat. Surrounding: The hotel is situated on top of the hill away from the hustle & bustle. Hourly shuttle van to Kata Beach is provided for free. It’s possible to walk to the beach as it’s only 5 minutes away. However the slope is quite steep. There’s so much to explore while walking. Kata Walking Street & Karon Plaza/Beach is within walkable distance from the hotel. There’s also restaurants, ATM, minimarts, clothing stores & bars nearby. Central Phuket & Jungceylon is around 20-30 minutes by car. It takes about 1-2 hours to get here from Phuket International Airport depending on the traffic. Activities: VR games, yoga, cooking class & underwater scooter rental are available at additional cost. Staff: Very polite, friendly and fluent in English. Always greeted us with a smile. The restaurant staffs are very service oriented & housekeeping did a fantastic job in making up our room everyday. Cons: Insects on the balcony, especially lizards at night. Just close the balcony door & it won’t enter the room. Overall we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

Upon arrival at the hotel the staff were friendly and inviting. We were checked in and given information about breakfast and room service. We were then taken to our villa by golf buggy. We were shown our villa and the various areas and controls for them and then left to settle in. We were also told the mini bar contents was free and refreshed each day (2 cabs of coke, 2 water, small pack of oreos and a kitkat). At first glance it is a lovely hotel and the pool jets were fun. On closer inspection it became disappointing and didn’t improve, more on that in a sec. At breakfast there was a menu to select one item from and the portions were massive and tasted very nice. There was also a large buffet selection you could help yourself to. Fresh tea and coffee was available upon request. On arrival we advised we had an early morning which would start before breakfast opened. We were offered a takeaway breakfast that would be waiting at reception for us. The next morning upon arrival it was apparent that the order had been forgotten. Breakfast had opened by this time and we had to quickly shove some food down us while our driver waited for us. That evening we enjoyed our pool but it wasn’t in the cleanest condition with debris at the bottom and leaves floating on the surface. On the first evening after check-in, I was walking around the villa and caught the bottom of my foot on a sharp part of the wooden floor. I did advise the staff the next morning on our way out for the day and it was fixed by the time we returned. However the injury did cause pain and irritation for the remainder of the holiday as it was on the bottom of my foot. Upon returning from our first day out we found that our room had been cleaned but they had removed our dirty towels and not replaced them with new. I had to contact reception to request fresh ones. They had also turned off the air-con that we had left on to ensure the room was cool when we returned. The following day I decided to have a bath to sooth my sun burn and found that the tap to the bath was broken and there was just a small stick pointing out for me to use to control the temp and flow. We also realised that we were lucky enough to have booked a villa with a pool, as the hotel does not have a communal one and not all villas have there own. For the rating of the hotel and the price we paid it was a little disappointing. The staff remained cheerful and helpful for the duration of our stay but the issues did dampen our experience.

You will be fit for this hotel if: 1.you want to live in 5 minutes from one of the best beaches of Phuket; 2. if you don't want to spend a lot of money; 3. if you are not desirable and you don't need high comfort. Indeed, the hotel is located exactly 5 minutes from Kata Beach. We went quietly to the room from the beach if anything needed and returned back, wasting on it 15-20 minutes. That is, you can not leave the beach all day, what we did). On the opposite of the hotel the night market, there is a lot of delicious, you can eat right there, and you can take with you. Exchange with excellent rate too opposite. Next to it is a supermarket where we bought excellent coffee, cruisance and breakfast on the beach. It turned out to be budget and beautiful. Also, next to a full cafe where there are full breakfasts for any taste, work hours from 8am. Of course, in the nearby building a massage salon, a decent place and do well. We lived in the bungalow, according to the reviews in them quietly. Most likely, as the usual rooms go out on the road along which the hotel stands. Our bungalow was the extreme and the closest to the road, So we had quite noisy too. There is a small terrace with tables and chairs in front of the bungalow. The room itself is very simple: a closet with hangers, a refrigerator, a mirror, a TV, a pretty big table, two chairs, a cupboard near the bed only one. The bed was not alone as we ordered, but 2 just shifted but big and comfortable. There is an air conditioner and this is the first moment. Without it in February it is impossible there, but it is very noisy if there are sleep problems, there is a risk not to sleep. Yes, Still bring every day 2 bottles of water, even if the previous ones are not over and there are 2 glasses. The second point is the toilet room. It is not very pleasant in principle, the tile is dark, somehow dark. There are no clutches that separate the showers, so the toilet was wet (though drying everything quickly). And there is no shelves to put the belongings. Here and helped the closeness of the toilet)). Such in Thailand is not uncommon, there was no clutches and in more expensive hotels. In the bathtub, bottles of shampoo and gel, shower hats, and soaps for some reason. Toilet paper was filled constantly. Towel gives only one per person, but big and one for the foot room. Beach towels are not available, fans are not available. Way Fai worked well, somehow stopped clinging, quickly repaired. On Russian channels there is no breakfast. We did not take breakfast. In the pool never bathed, the sea is nearby. But it is, with a view not bad. The territory is small. Some trees, a house for spirits and a lawn. Another moment. In addition to the noise of the condea, the noise of some pump was added that was periodically turned on and off. Maybe in other rooms, that is not heard, but the bungalow is heard in the extreme to the road. The recipe is not working 24 hours a day, and we didn't really understand how many and how many. Indeed, at the recipe itself there was never anyone. There was a girl in the cafe at the hotel who answered all the questions, always tried to help and was very kind. But still, full

This was a well located hotel, suitable for my family of 5, to stay at, with Kata beach within walking distance, as well as numerous restaurants, coffee shops, spas, mini markets, shops, and above all, our well-frequented walking street night market! Our initial not-so-welcoming check-in (no welcome drink, no porters, letting us wait for our room to be prepared even when it was well past check-in time of 2pm), was soon forgotten when we were shown to our 2 well-air-conditioned rooms with a balcony (albeit to an ugly construction site). The rooms are of decent size, with thoughtful touches that include a beachmat, beach bag, beach towels, thongs, gowns, hairdryer, as well as complimentary tea and coffee facilities with a bar fridge. The showers are not impressively well-pressured, not always hot, but are equipped with shower gel and shampoo. The only gripe with my bathroom was the slight step (due to differing floor levels) which I kept on tripping over. There is a flat-screen TV available in the rooms, but we didn’t use it once. The WiFi is very good in all areas of the hotel. My kids swam in the pool, but as inviting and as beautiful as it is designed (with it being the centrepiece of the hotel), it is certainly not the most inviting when one feels it’s cool temperature which is in too stark a contrast to the outside temperature. We did not have breakfast included, so can’t comment on the on-site restaurant. There is a small fitness centre, as well as a room for boxing. Our rooms were cleaned at a rather late and awkward time in the late afternoon, which meant we forfeited cleaning when we came back to the room and required the room at the same time, to freshen up before the evening’s activities. Our overall experience was nevertheless pleasant and I would recommend them as a fair-priced family-friendly accommodation.

Outdoor Inn Kata Hotel

Kata Beach Phuket|0.07km from Tailor Pro Phuket
The hotel is located at Kata Night Market. Consists of two buildings. In one there is a reception and a breakfast restaurant, in the other there are just rooms. We got into the second one. We didn’t expect anything good, judging by the reviews, but everything turned out to be not so bad, it could have been worse. On the plus side: the room is quite clean, clean plumbing, shower, there is always hot water, the air conditioner is new, there is a TV and a thermopot instead of a kettle, tea, coffee, two shampoos and microsoap, two 0.5 bottles of water are given every day, even if they don’t clean in the room. The double bed consists of two single beds put together and a double mattress on top, which is quite good. Wi-Fi is normal, enough for social networks. Available in the lobby, restaurant and in the room. Within walking distance there is an evening market (we live there 😆), fruits, cafes, exchangers and excursions. The beaches of Kata, Karon and Kata Noi are nearby. Of the minuses: at first we were checked into a room with a broken, dirty old air conditioner, without a TV. As it turned out, the air conditioner was immediately beyond repair (in the corridor they caught specialists who were filling the air conditioner with freon in another room), so they immediately moved to another one. There are only two towels, one is ok, the other is terrible, fortunately we took our own from home, plus a towel for our feet. The bedding is surprisingly normal, although they also took their own🤣, after reading the reviews, but the frill on the bottom of the mattress is fear and horror, I don’t even want to guess about the origin of the stains on it🤦‍♀️ There is no mirror in the room, only in the bathroom. The wardrobe is large, but there are no shelves. There are no nightstands by the bed, which is inconvenient. Sound insulation is poor, as if the window is open all the time. It is only possible to sleep with earplugs. The windows from our 441st room overlooked the road. It's noisy all the time. Something like that. They wouldn't take it a second time.

Three years ago, after a month on business in northern Thailand, my husband and I stayed at this resort for a week. Choosing here was more or less accidental. We wanted a quiet beach and we felt like paradise in our hearts. The scenery is so beautiful and the staff is great and near perfect. The room was very large, beautifully decorated and there was a quiet beach. We loved everything here, so we decided to come to Thailand for a month to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. And come back to Mom Tri's Royal Villas Resort on Memorial Day. But unfortunately we were disappointed this time. We asked for airport transfer but no one greeted us at the entrance of the hotel. Walking to the lobby, I saw several staff chatting there, I don't know what we are coming. The resort has expanded, maybe this has brought more business to the resort, but for us, it has lost its original charm. The room attendant was still great, we had a room as soon as we arrived, and the decoration was very nice. But the restaurant staff seemed to lack training and obviously couldn't do the job. Our room was quite good, but it was shown everywhere that it was old. There were a lot of people on the beach, of course, it was not the fault of the resort, but it still affected the overall atmosphere. The resort is very proud of its cellar and has been on the wine appreciation magazine, but as a wine lover, I am disappointed that there is no reasonable wine here. I understand that the government has imposed a harsh excise tax on imported wine, But I think at least some Thai wines (some are good) should be in, and that's shameful. This is the beach, it's hot. I wanted a low wine, but the pool bar closed after 7pm and the only reasonable price wine can't be bought. I went to the breakfast room once and an accident that morning made me unhappy. I was unhappy for a while despite the manager explaining to me and apologizing. If management did say a little more, I would be discouraged, but not. I decided to go to the spa for a foot massage. The spa itself is very beautiful and the decoration is very elegant, which is the grade that the resort should have. The one who gave me a massage was a pretty young man, but the technology was not good. I have been to Thailand many times and I know what the real massage is like. Usually the masseur has to use some questions such as strength is not enough, pain is not pain. But this person did not ask, and obviously he did not know where the acupoint is. I later pressed it again in the temple, very good, a little spent. Maybe I was a bit picky but I really liked it before and it wasn't cheap. I also went back to this type of resort and this was the first time I felt very disappointed.

Traveling through Phuket, I drove to this hotel for 3 days and stayed on 3. It was important for me to have a close location of the gym as I am a pedestrian tourist, without a bike. The hall right across the road and on it still in the hotel give a 20% discount. The guy Stephen on the respiratory super friendly, and the room replaced without a refrigerator on the balcony and gave a spray from mosquitoes when asked. In general, he was very responsive to any request. Immediately in front of the hotel is a small Buddhist temple and a religious festival took place on the date of my stay, fed for free a very delicious vegan food for all days. Cleaning in the super room every day. Bed every 3 days. I was even embarrassed by the girls as they neatly arranged my scattered cosmetics and cans. ) The hotel is not on the central road so it is quiet enough at night. 7/11 right behind the corner. Personally I sleep in all hotels and in this too prevents what with the air conditioner is cold and without it hot. Stephen gave me a normal fan in the room. It was better with him. And still in the morning the cock shouted loudly.) The beds are tough, but I like such. To the beach 10-15 on foot. It is better of course to take a bike and go to all beaches. The parking in the hotel is. In general for the budget hotel is very good.

This hotel is situated in a quiet street in kata Only a very short walk to the beach & all the bars & restaurants.. also a great little cocktail bus just outside! The hotel itself provided a comfortable stay … Positives * location .. close to beach * rooms cleaned daily *good wifi *gym Negatives *mediocre breakfast * short staffed pool bar not open until 5 you must use the cafe over the road for drinks * no hand soap provided in room!!! * staff were friendly enough but didn’t feel they went above & beyond to make the holiday ( you would be lucky if anybody was ever around! ) All in all an okay hotel but probably would nit stay again as I’m sure there are better options available

The hotel is located a short walk from the beach and the night entertainment areas, but far enough way to still be quiet. There are lots of places to eat nearby, including a great burger place across the road. It is an old hotel that needs an upgrade, but everything was clean. The bed was well used, but still comfortable. The A/C didn't work very well. No views from the windows. But the room was large, with a large balcony. Biggest annoyance for me was the bathroom. No soap tray in the shower, no TP roller by the toilet. And the towels were quite threadbare. And remember that you have to manually lock your door. It does not lock automatically. Overall, I would definitely stay there again.
