Phuket Town Phuket|0.36km from Phuket City View Point
We were satisfied with our room in this hotel: - the room was clean and got cleaned every day - there's a fridge in the room and you get a small bottle of water every day - it's near the city center of Phuket Town (around 15 minutes on foot) but you don't hear the traffic in the center (there were some roosters next to the hotel, and they were pretty loud and active from around 5 am, but I guess this was something temporary because nobody else wrote about them :D) - you can climb the Khao Rang viewpoint before the peek tourist hours (it takes around 10-15 minutes to the top) There are no real negative parts to this room, but just in an fyi sort of way - we booked a room with a balcony and although the balcony was there, it's not really a sort of a place to sit in and relax, which we thought it would be (you enter it through a window, it's pretty small and tight). The other thing is that we needed transport to the Rassada Pier early one morning and the hotel has or can organize this transport - but the price we were told was pretty high (700 baht!), which is pretty strange considering that even the regular-taxi-mafia charged less than this. I wouldn't mind staying here again, but mainly since my boyfriend and I aren't drivers and couldn't rent a scooter, next time I would probably search for accommodation closer to the bus station because this would make it easier to travel to other parts of the island with public transport and avoid taxis as much as possible.

Key unlocking No phone contact counter in the room 24-hour counter The floor is clean The disadvantage is that the bed is too hard and the pillow is too high Construction starts at 10 o'clock. Too noisy. The TV screen is a bit too small

Accommodation in the heart of the city, very good location, delicious breakfast, very cheap price, clean rooms, excellent service staff. Can check in at a clock Near many tourist attractions The pool closes at midnight. Chill as you like. If not stuck during the festival, the price is even more cheaper than before. A lot of restaurants near the school. The way is very convenient.

There was no price or performance. Room was extremely small and closely very bright (in addition to music bar, voices from neighbouring rooms hearable),glass front heated the room very much on what the air conditioning had to offset.Only one (!) stick, Mirrors unlighted and also without electrical connection, kits were inappropriate to sleep because too thick and uncomfortable, towels and washing only against extra charge (no information in advance),no own refrigerator on rooms, Similarly, only community TV in the hall (hearable volume),no safe available (no room or reception),no safe, small dressing box but without dressing sticks etc. No service was actively offered, such as roller rental and others. You had to here The main lack of reception staff was obviously uninterested for the complete 7 days of my stay and more dedicated to the own internet and mobile phones. A friendly request for an upgrade due to the length of stay (and because the hotel was not booked) was granted only against a surcharge. Sorry. I have experienced rather over-received friendship and interest in the guest in previous hotels. Not even a greeting was obvious here. That was unusual, strange and disappointing. The price was not justified, especially in comparison with the surrounding accommodation and due to the performance and equipment offered m.E. The location of the hotel was not very central but a little remote and therefore not really good. Good: The bus connection to the airport was directly at the hotel. Massageshop was directly integrated into the hotel. 7Eleven and restaurants in the surroundings. Concluded: I felt very uncomfortable and especially not welcome. This was completely different in the previous hotels. I personally can NOT expressly recommend this accommodation (for more than one night).

An Introduction to Phuket

Phuket, Thailand's largest island, lies off the country's southwestern coast in the Andaman Sea. Known for its idyllic beaches, vibrant nightlife, and rich cultural heritage, Phuket is a favorite destination for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure. The island boasts a myriad of activities, from exploring historic Old Phuket Town to diving in the surrounding clear waters teeming with marine life.

Travelling to Phuket: What You Need to Know

Phuket International Airport, the island's main gateway, receives flights from around the world. Taxis, buses, and car rental services are readily available for transport to the city and resorts.

The official currency is the Thai Baht (THB), and Thai is the primary language spoken. However, English is widely understood in tourist areas. Thailand allows visa-free entry for citizens of numerous countries for tourism purposes, up to 30 days. Always verify your specific visa requirements before travel.

Unmissable Attractions in Phuket

Your Phuket adventure is incomplete without a visit to Patong Beach, the island's most famous beach known for its water activities and nightlife. Explore the culturally rich streets of Old Phuket Town, dotted with colorful Sino-Portuguese buildings.

The Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, Phuket's largest Buddhist temple, are important cultural sites. For a unique island experience, a boat tour to the stunning Phi Phi Islands or Phang Nga Bay, renowned for its limestone cliffs and emerald-green waters, is highly recommended.

Weather & Best Time to Visit Phuket

Phuket enjoys a tropical monsoon climate, with temperatures hovering between 23°C to 33°C all year round. The best time to visit is during the dry season, from November to April, when the seas are calm and clear, perfect for beach activities and diving. It's advisable to pack light, breathable clothing, along with swimwear and sun protection.

Choosing Your Ideal Hotel in Phuket

Phuket offers accommodations to suit all kinds of travelers. For luxury seekers, the Banyan Tree Phuket or Amanpuri offer high-end amenities and beachfront locations. For proximity to nightlife and entertainment, consider hotels in Patong area like the Holiday Inn Resort Phuket.

Travelers on a budget might find the Chanalai Garden Resort in Kata Beach a good value. If you seek Instagram-worthy accommodations, Keemala, with its unique pool villas nestled amidst lush greenery, will surely impress.
