We had a great stay at the Thavorn Palm Beach Resort. We crossed the street to go to the beach each day. We spent our afternoons by the three pools enjoying food and drinks. You can walk north or south along the beach to find shops and restaurants, too. The staff members were all hospitable and kind. Special thanks to Eddie, Napa, JJ, Baw, and Beem for their excellent service during our trip.

The hotel is sitting on an pretty sizeable campus, but the curved design helps to manage walking distance between different facilities. There a few swimming pools on site, as well as restaurants if you like to stay on the property. You can easily take a Tutu or taxi from the beach entrance. There used to be a TOPS convenience store according to Google map but it is gone now. Hotel is old with facility in the home. Phone is like still in the 90s. Bathroom was done probably 10 years ago. Their toothpaste comes with a tiny drop it bearly covers one time usage. Overall if you like big hotels this is it. But room is getting old. Will I go back again? Probably not.

Love this resortl! Great pools and convenient location! Good for family and friends! The room is clean and big! It's only 3 minutes away from beach and there's 711 right across the street! 2 pools for grown ups are very big and nice and the kids pool is very nice too(according to my childhood memories) The poolside bar has variety of drinks and the staffs there are always friendly and nice! The staffs at this hotel was really amazing even the hotel guard and the gardening staffs! Everybody was very friendly and kind especially Bunrung, Supith and Keaw! Just checked out from here today and I already miss it!

We feel at home, we are so used to casa brazil that we find it hard to give it up. We know the roads around them, the services, restaurants, beaches .... where to take the tuk tuk, really comfortable. Walk to karon beach and kata beach in a snap. The only flaws, this year breakfast was not included, and the wifi that worked very badly, otherwise rooms made up every day, as well as free bottles of water. My sister and I stayed over the Easter as we couldn’t get into another hotel for that weekend once we got into the other hotel we both wished we had of stayed at Phuket island view, all the staff were welcoming, obliging, helpful and friendly. The lady at the tour desk was really helpful and the girls for our foot massage was incredibly amazing. The pool was so clean. Housekeeping had room clean quickly and early so no waiting around, I wish I had left a bigger tip for them. The food at windows was great too even the coffee. We both will come back as the whole feel for the area was very comfortable and had a great community feel with small local restaurants and market sellers.

I book a hotel, three principles, one, convenient, two, good environment, three, the price is right. The hotel met all requirements. It is very close to Karen Beach, convenient for eating and shopping, mountain view terrace, can be daze. The boss is good, we booked a big bed room, marked 3 people, giving an extra bed in advance. The plane returned in the early morning, and the boss let him live for free for half a day. Had a great stay at the hotel, spacious rooms and lovely swimming pools and pool bars. We would’ve loved to see more pictures f a variety during breakfast time, too many of the same dishes especially since we stayed for 5 nights. Better shuttle service to the beach would’ve been great too, there are only 4 opportunities each day to take the shuttle bus to the beach nearby and back to the hotel. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bang Tao and they had a shuttle service going to the market and beach at all times, this made it just nicer to plan your day and a wonderful extra service from the Hilton. Rooms have very little privacy, although the views are incredible, you have to keep your blinds closed at all times otherwise the room opposite you can look directly into your bedroom which just spoiled having these great windows and views. Overall good stay and was quite relaxing, friendly and helpful staff.

Three years ago, after a month on business in northern Thailand, my husband and I stayed at this resort for a week. Choosing here was more or less accidental. We wanted a quiet beach and we felt like paradise in our hearts. The scenery is so beautiful and the staff is great and near perfect. The room was very large, beautifully decorated and there was a quiet beach. We loved everything here, so we decided to come to Thailand for a month to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. And come back to Mom Tri's Royal Villas Resort on Memorial Day. But unfortunately we were disappointed this time. We asked for airport transfer but no one greeted us at the entrance of the hotel. Walking to the lobby, I saw several staff chatting there, I don't know what we are coming. The resort has expanded, maybe this has brought more business to the resort, but for us, it has lost its original charm. The room attendant was still great, we had a room as soon as we arrived, and the decoration was very nice. But the restaurant staff seemed to lack training and obviously couldn't do the job. Our room was quite good, but it was shown everywhere that it was old. There were a lot of people on the beach, of course, it was not the fault of the resort, but it still affected the overall atmosphere. The resort is very proud of its cellar and has been on the wine appreciation magazine, but as a wine lover, I am disappointed that there is no reasonable wine here. I understand that the government has imposed a harsh excise tax on imported wine, But I think at least some Thai wines (some are good) should be in, and that's shameful. This is the beach, it's hot. I wanted a low wine, but the pool bar closed after 7pm and the only reasonable price wine can't be bought. I went to the breakfast room once and an accident that morning made me unhappy. I was unhappy for a while despite the manager explaining to me and apologizing. If management did say a little more, I would be discouraged, but not. I decided to go to the spa for a foot massage. The spa itself is very beautiful and the decoration is very elegant, which is the grade that the resort should have. The one who gave me a massage was a pretty young man, but the technology was not good. I have been to Thailand many times and I know what the real massage is like. Usually the masseur has to use some questions such as strength is not enough, pain is not pain. But this person did not ask, and obviously he did not know where the acupoint is. I later pressed it again in the temple, very good, a little spent. Maybe I was a bit picky but I really liked it before and it wasn't cheap. I also went back to this type of resort and this was the first time I felt very disappointed.

Excellent hotel! Maybe one of the most budget on the crown. To the beach on foot 10 minutes, 7 11 straight near the hotel. Cleaning in the rooms every day, everything clean and gently if not to dig hard. There is also a small but pleasant swimming pool. We will definitely return here again!
