Khao Rang Place

Phuket Town Phuket|1.97km from Friendship Marine
We were satisfied with our room in this hotel: - the room was clean and got cleaned every day - there's a fridge in the room and you get a small bottle of water every day - it's near the city center of Phuket Town (around 15 minutes on foot) but you don't hear the traffic in the center (there were some roosters next to the hotel, and they were pretty loud and active from around 5 am, but I guess this was something temporary because nobody else wrote about them :D) - you can climb the Khao Rang viewpoint before the peek tourist hours (it takes around 10-15 minutes to the top) There are no real negative parts to this room, but just in an fyi sort of way - we booked a room with a balcony and although the balcony was there, it's not really a sort of a place to sit in and relax, which we thought it would be (you enter it through a window, it's pretty small and tight). The other thing is that we needed transport to the Rassada Pier early one morning and the hotel has or can organize this transport - but the price we were told was pretty high (700 baht!), which is pretty strange considering that even the regular-taxi-mafia charged less than this. I wouldn't mind staying here again, but mainly since my boyfriend and I aren't drivers and couldn't rent a scooter, next time I would probably search for accommodation closer to the bus station because this would make it easier to travel to other parts of the island with public transport and avoid taxis as much as possible.

When I was looking at pics of this hotel I thought it’s very beautiful place. But all pics are with a lot of photoshop. The furniture is very old, the room number is dirty.. Instead of a normal bed, there are two dirty mattresses laid on top of each other that are always driving. A very old dead air conditioner, from which there is a strange smell. But the air conditioner doesn't cool enough, I can barely stay in the room anyway because it's very stuffy here. As for room cleaning: yesterday they forgot to remove the balcony and a cloud of ash in the ashtray in my room, and today they woke me up with a loud knock on the door despite the ”do not disturb” sign. They also woke me up when called about 01-00 am to tell that I got negative pcr test instead of sending me email like they promised. Don’t try to order some food in their restaurant: it’s too bad. I ordered the shrimp salad, but as an result they brought me a lot of onion with not fresh shrimps. Unfortunately, I have to leave here earlier, because being here is unbearable. The only positive thing is that the staff is cute and is still trying to do something for your being here, even though only one girl knows English from all the staff and she knows it so-so. Anyway, I saw a terminal where you can pay with a virtual card, but they didn't give me a chance to pay the bill using apple pay. To be honest, this hotel has set quite a nasty sediment. No toilet paper at all. I had one when I check in but after no one gave it to me. Stuff is nice but all here is trying to get all your money. This is not worth this money it’s too expensive for this level of service. When I was leaving, I asked to order a taxi for me (they had already helped me and ordered a local taxi at a relatively adequate price). The last time they ordered me a transfer that costs a lot of money and it once again showed the attitude of the locals to you.

The reception is not working 24 hours. Check-in after 10pm is a bit late. But all the staff are lovely.

Stayed in the hotel only as I am leaving very early tomorrow to Khao Lak. Its a good pitstop hotel probably not for long term. The location is not exactly on a prime location. Its in the middle of a road with nothing much happening around. You need to travel 10 minutes by car to get to anything worth mentioning. Other than that the price is very spot on. Less than $20 I paid for a triple room, couldnt really complain much. Room is clean but the age of the room is already showing. Bathroom for instance is mouldy. AC is very loud. But you get past it for the price you pay. Recommended for short stay, not for long term. There's parking with security, which was a plus.

Really big, spacious, and clean suite in a hotel near the bus station. It's far from old town and the beaches, but it was perfect for our first night in Phuket after a long and tiring bus ride from Hat Yai. It's a good and inexpensive place to stop briefly for one night before moving to a more central location in the city. Moreover, the hotel front desk person is super nice and helpful! We ordered from Grab Food and the driver delivered our order to the wrong hotel. The front desk took a look at the photo the driver sent and helped us find that location. It was a great stay!

Treasure Phuket Cottage 🏡! It is very suitable for a family of five to travel with a family. I have to say that the service of the housekeeper Tom is very considerate. He is very friendly to Chinese tourists, just like a friend. Their team is also very cute. The aunt who sees the cleaning nearby in the morning will know Warmly greet us! The house is very beautiful and clean. The wood is antique. Before moving in, we will give you a thoughtful introduction. The swimming pool, billiard hall, and KTV are all available. You can see the sea level from the bedroom on the third floor. The green banana leaves around the house are great! It’s more like a home than a hotel. Thank you very much for Tom’s reception. It can be said that because of him, our trip to Phuket was very pleasant and I like Thai people very much🇹🇭! You can communicate with the butler if you have any matters or need help. Once we couldn’t get a car, the butler directly helped us to the place we wanted to go. There is no need to book for the pick-up and drop-off. Here will give you a more favorable price! If you want to go to Phuket and experience it, just ask the butler. The introduction is very comprehensive. As a local recommendation, it is great! All five-star recommendation! Thanks so much Tom!
