Stayed for 8 nights in this hotel with my wife. Excellent hotel overall. Very clean indeed, staff very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They open doors for you as you enter reception, take you bags to your room, help sort car / moped hire etc, The room was very clean and well appointed. Bath and beach towels are provided and they change these as frequently a you need. They also provide all the usual essentials including shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper, bottled water every day. Kettle, hob, large sink and basic utensils, glasses, cups etc were all provided. Also an iron and ironing board as well as a clothes drying stand. The big kitchen sink is easily bug enough to do clothes washing in. Room service was excellent each day. Balcony size on normal rooms was slightly small, especially as was shared with two large air conditioning units (all balconies appear the same) so this made the balcony cramped, noisy and hot when air conditioning was on. Breakfast was provided in the adjoining restaurant. This was excellent offering fresh hot and cold food, eggs made to your liking (fried, scrambled, omelettes, etc), bacon, sausages, fruit, bread, croissants, etc etc. Seemed to have everything included plentiful supply of juices, coffee, tea, etc. Most things self-service but the staff were on hand to help and to clear used dished. The location of the hotel means it is a 15 minute to the beach and 15 minutes to the main restaurant area known as Boat Avenue. Fortunately the hotel runs a shuttle bus service twice an hour to both locations and back until 9.10pm. Would be nice if slightly later coming back from Boat Avenue, but taxis and tuk-tuks were on hand although these aren't the cheapest. The main local beach is Bang Tao beach. This is lovely. Very clean (as everywhere seems to be here), soft white sand, gentle shelving into the water with no stones or rocks. Shame about sea lice the bite / sting in the water but they are everywhere in this part of the world depending on time of year and they are a very minor irritation. Also good availability of sun-beds as well as beverages from the beach shacks. Lots of fresh water showers and there is parking next to the beach as well as toilets. Boat Avenue has plenty of nice restaurants - see my other reviews if you want to see where we went and what we thoughts. Lots to choose from. Most restaurants seem to slow down food service after 9.30pm and this is not a clubby resort. Was just right for us though as there were plenty of bars and some with live music (check out The Mexican bar and restaurant). Wine is not cheap here and starts around £30 a bottle - although some could be found around £25. We stuck to beer with dinner. There is also a handy large supermarket selling everything you could need and is right by taxi station and open until 10pm. Final top tip about this area is to visit on a Friday night if you can as the street market is great with street food and live music. Easy to hire cars and

It is true when you arrive in a hotel with such standing, we have expectations upwards whether it is in service quality, equipment quality etc ... Well, believe me we've been served. We were couple and to enjoy ourselves we rented a penthouse of 125M2 that is perfectly suitable for a whole family. Imagine, you are going out of your room through the window door and there is the jacuzzi, you are going out of your living room through the window door and there is the pool. The bathroom is huge with a rain shower and bathroom (for the parents' bathroom). The swimming pool is superb and has a less deep pool for children. A free shuttle service allows you to go to the beach easily and it is very easy to book a taxi with the hotel for transfer to the airport. A massage salon is located 100m from the hotel (ASHARA salon) For our last rest day before we go back to France, we really enjoyed it and it is very pleasant.

During the epidemic, it only sells for more than 100 yuan a night, which is very cost-effective. For this price, it is impeccable. There are only 5 rooms in the entire hotel, there is a parking lot, and the swimming pool is quite small, but this period is equivalent to a private pool.

This hotel is great and the price is super high. I stayed in a three-bedroom pool villa with two friends and two children. It was an independent yard with good privacy. The two bedrooms are on the first floor, one master bedroom is on the second floor, and there are two bathtubs in the room. Especially the master bedroom bathtub is oversized, and the two children can play together without any problems. The outdoor pool is large and the water is clean, but the children have to look after it. The kitchen utensils in the villa are all available, we make a seafood dinner ourselves. Public transportation is not convenient here, but it is very convenient to rent a motorbike. There is a lotus supermarket, a fruit market and a local market in a five-minute drive. It takes 10 minutes to get to the beach. To sum up, for me who came to Thailand about ten times, this hotel is super cost-effective and worth recommending.

We booked this hotel for a no-frills overnighter as we will be arriving late and checking into a nearby resort the next few days. Hard to locate as it was in a dark corner and not well lit. We managed to locate second time around. Check-in was a hassle as the front desk guy could not speak much English but relied on Google translate. He even read from a prepared note to asking us if we want to move to a lake view room as the booked room was facing the main road and noisy. We took the option thus giving up the included breakfast. It was raining overnight so we had no idea what lake view was. Room was big, comfortable but dated and has one of the best firm mattress we experienced so far. Aircon took a long time to cool the room but everything worked. Issue was the noise from the distant disco continued till 4:30am and kept me awake all night. In the morning it was still raining but we woke up to marvellous view. When we checked out there was not much of breakfast seen but more of a made to order set thus limited variety. Do be aware there are only space for 4 cars onsite if you are driving with more further away within 5-minutes walk which is also where youll find food, grocery shop and the Boat Avenue Friday Night Market. Convenient and good location for the small hotel, and cheap too.

An Introduction to Phuket

Phuket, Thailand's largest island, lies off the country's southwestern coast in the Andaman Sea. The island boasts a myriad of activities, from exploring historic Old Phuket Town to diving in the surrounding clear waters teeming with marine life.

Travelling to Phuket: What You Need to Know

Phuket International Airport, the island's main gateway, receives flights from around the world. Taxis, buses, and car rental services are readily available for transport to the city and resorts.

The official currency is the Thai Baht (THB), and Thai is the primary language spoken. However, English is widely understood in tourist areas. Thailand allows visa-free entry for citizens of numerous countries for tourism purposes, up to 30 days. Always verify your specific visa requirements before travel.

Unmissable Attractions in Phuket

Your Phuket adventure is incomplete without a visit to Patong Beach, the island's most famous beach known for its water activities and nightlife. Explore the culturally rich streets of Old Phuket Town, dotted with colorful Sino-Portuguese buildings.

The Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, Phuket's largest Buddhist temple, are important cultural sites. For a unique island experience, a boat tour to the stunning Phi Phi Islands or Phang Nga Bay, renowned for its limestone cliffs and emerald-green waters, is highly recommended.

Weather & Best Time to Visit Phuket

Phuket enjoys a tropical monsoon climate, with temperatures hovering between 23°C to 33°C all year round. The best time to visit is during the dry season, from November to April, when the seas are calm and clear, perfect for beach activities and diving. It's advisable to pack light, breathable clothing, along with swimwear and sun protection.
